< Psalms 51 >
1 Unto the end. A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came to him, after he went to Bathsheba. Be merciful to me, O God, according to your great mercy. And, according to the plentitude of your compassion, wipe out my iniquity.
Kuom jatend wer. Zaburi mar Daudi. Kane janabi Nathan obiro ire bangʼ ka Daudi noseterore gi Bathsheba. Kecha, yaye Nyasaye, kaluwore gi herani ma ok rem; gol kethona duto oko kuom ngʼwononi maduongʼ.
2 Wash me once again from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
Luok rochruokna duto oko kendo pwodha kuom richona.
3 For I know my iniquity, and my sin is ever before me.
Nikech angʼeyo kethona duto kendo richona osiko e nyima.
4 Against you only have I sinned, and I have done evil before your eyes. And so, you are justified in your words, and you will prevail when you give judgment.
In iwuon ema asekethoni kendo asetimo richo e nyim wangʼi, mano omiyo in kare ka iwuoyo kendo iwacho adiera ka ingʼadona bura.
5 For behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and in sinfulness did my mother conceive me.
En adier chutho ni nonywola e richo asebedo ka an jaricho chakre chiengʼ mane minwa omake ichna.
6 For behold, you have loved truth. The obscure and hidden things of your wisdom, you have manifested to me.
Adier, idwaro ni dhano obed ja-adiera gie chunye iye emomiyo ipuonja rieko gie chunya maiye mogik.
7 You will sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be cleansed. You will wash me, and I will be made whiter than snow.
Lwoka maler gi owino eka abiro bedo maler; lwoka mondo abed marachar moloyo pe.
8 In my hearing, you will grant gladness and rejoicing. And the bones that have been humbled will exult.
We awinjie mor kod ilo; mi chokena misetoyo ochak obedie mamor.
9 Turn your face away from my sins, and erase all my iniquities.
Pand wangʼi mondo kik ine richona kendo gol kethona duto oko.
10 Create a clean heart in me, O God. And renew an upright spirit within my inmost being.
Chwe chuny maler e iya, yaye Nyasaye, kendo los chuny motegno mosiko koluori iket e iya.
11 Do not cast me away from your face; and do not take your Holy Spirit from me.
Kik iriemba buti bende kik igol Roho Maler mari kuoma.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and confirm me with an unsurpassed spirit.
Duogna mor ma warruokni kelo kendo mi abed gi chuny mohero timo dwaroni, mondo chuny makamano orita.
13 I will teach the unjust your ways, and the impious will be converted to you.
Eka abiro puonjo joketho yoreni kendo joricho biro lokore duogo iri.
14 Free me from blood, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue will extol your justice.
Resa e ketho mar chwero remo, yaye Nyasaye, tim kamano, yaye Nyasaye ma wara, eka lewa biro wer kuom timni makare.
15 O Lord, you will open my lips, and my mouth will announce your praise.
Yaye Ruoth yaw pien dhoga, eka dhoga biro hulo pakni.
16 For if you had desired sacrifice, I would certainly have given it, but with holocausts, you will not be delighted.
Ok imor gi misango mitimoni, nikech dine achiwonigo; misango miwangʼo pep ok miyi mor.
17 A crushed spirit is a sacrifice to God. A contrite and humbled heart, O God, you will not spurn.
Misango mar Nyasaye en chuny motur, chuny motur kendo mamuol, ok itamri, yaye Nyasaye.
18 Act kindly, Lord, in your good will toward Zion, so that the walls of Jerusalem may be built up.
Mi Sayun odhi maber kuom herani; chak iger ohinga mag Jerusalem kendo.
19 Then you will accept the sacrifice of justice, oblations, and holocausts. Then they will lay calves upon your altar.
Eka ibiro yudo mor kuom misengni mag joma kare, kuom misango miwangʼo pep mochiw duto, kendo ibiro chiw rwedhi e kendoni mar misango.
