< Psalms 47 >
1 Unto the end. A Psalm for the sons of Korah. All nations, clap your hands. Shout joyfully to God with a voice of exultation.
Kumutungamiri wokuimba waVanakomana vaKora. Pisarema. Uchirai maoko, imi vanhu vose; pururudzai kuna Mwari nokudanidzira kwomufaro.
2 For the Lord is exalted and terrible: a great King over all the earth.
Jehovha Wokumusoro-soro anotyisa sei, iye Mambo mukuru pamusoro penyika yose!
3 He has subjected the peoples to us and subdued the nations under our feet.
Akaisa ndudzi dzavanhu pasi pedu, marudzi pasi petsoka dzedu.
4 He has chosen us for his inheritance: the splendor of Jacob, whom he has loved.
Akatitsaurira nhaka yedu, iyo pfuma yaJakobho, waakada. Sera
5 God ascends with jubilation, and the Lord with the voice of the trumpet.
Mwari akwidza kumusoro pakati pokudanidzira kwomufaro, Jehovha pakati pokurira kwehwamanda.
6 Sing psalms to our God, sing psalms. Sing psalms to our King, sing psalms.
Imbirai Mwari nziyo dzokurumbidza, murumbidzei nenziyo. Imbirai Mambo wedu nziyo dzokurumbidza, murumbidzei nenziyo.
7 For God is the King of all the earth. Sing psalms wisely.
Nokuti Mwari ndiye Mambo wenyika yose; muimbirei pisarema rokurumbidza.
8 God will reign over the peoples. God sits upon his holy throne.
Mwari anotonga pamusoro pendudzi dzose; Mwari agere pamusoro pechigaro chake chitsvene.
9 The leaders of the peoples have been gathered together by the God of Abraham. For the strong gods of the earth have been exceedingly exalted.
Makurukota amarudzi aungana savanhu vaMwari waAbhurahama, nokuti madzimambo enyika ndeaMwari; iye anokudzwa zvikuru kwazvo.
