Psalms 45
1 Unto the end. For those who will be changed. To the sons of Korah, toward understanding. A Canticle for the Beloved. My heart has uttered a good word. I speak of my works to the king. My tongue is like the pen of a scribe who writes quickly.
Para el músico jefe. Con la música de “Los Lirios”. Una contemplación de los hijos de Coré. Una canción de boda. Mi corazón rebosa de un tema noble. Recito mis versos para el rey. Mi lengua es como la pluma de un hábil escritor.
2 You are a brilliant form before the sons of men. Grace has been poured freely into your lips. Because of this, God has blessed you in eternity.
Tú eres el más excelente de los hijos de los hombres. La gracia ha ungido tus labios, por eso Dios te ha bendecido para siempre.
3 Fasten your sword to your thigh, O most powerful one.
Pon tu espada en el muslo, oh poderoso, en tu esplendor y tu majestad.
4 With your splendor and your excellence extended, proceed prosperously, and reign for the sake of truth and meekness and justice, and so will your right hand lead you wondrously.
En tu majestuosidad cabalga victorioso en nombre de la verdad, la humildad y la rectitud. Deja que tu mano derecha muestre acciones asombrosas.
5 Your arrows are sharp; the people will fall under you, with the hearts of the enemies of the king.
Tus flechas son afiladas. Las naciones caen bajo ti, con flechas en el corazón de los enemigos del rey.
6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of true aim.
Tu trono, Dios, es eterno y para siempre. Un cetro de equidad es el cetro de tu reino.
7 You have loved justice and hated iniquity. Because of this, God, your God, has anointed you, before your co-heirs, with the oil of gladness.
Has amado la justicia y odiado la maldad. Por eso Dios, tu Dios, te ha ungido con el aceite de la alegría por encima de tus compañeros.
8 Myrrh and balsam and cinnamon perfume your garments, from the houses of ivory. From these, they have delighted you:
Todos tus vestidos huelen a mirra, áloe y casia. De los palacios de marfil los instrumentos de cuerda te han alegrado.
9 the daughters of kings in your honor. The queen assisted at your right hand, in clothing of gold, encircled with diversity.
Las hijas de los reyes están entre tus mujeres honorables. A su derecha la reina se encuentra en oro de Ophir.
10 Listen, daughter, and see, and incline your ear. And forget your people and your father’s house.
Escucha, hija, considera y vuelve tu oído. Olvídate de tu propia gente, y también de la casa de tu padre.
11 And the king will desire your beauty. For he is the Lord your God, and they will adore him.
Así el rey deseará tu belleza, honradlo, pues es vuestro señor.
12 And the daughters of Tyre will entreat your countenance with gifts: all the rich men of the people.
La hija de Tiro viene con un regalo. Los ricos del pueblo suplican su favor.
13 All the glory of the daughter of its king is inside, in golden fringes,
La princesa en su interior es toda una gloria. Su ropa está entretejida con oro.
14 clothed all around with diversities. After her, virgins will be led to the king. Her neighbors will be brought to you.
Será llevada al rey en una obra bordada. Las vírgenes, sus compañeras que la siguen, serán traídas a ti.
15 They will be brought with gladness and exultation. They will be led into the temple of the king.
Con alegría y regocijo serán conducidos. Entrarán en el palacio del rey.
16 For your fathers, sons have been born to you. You will establish them as leaders over all the earth.
Sus hijos ocuparán el lugar de sus padres. Los harás príncipes en toda la tierra.
17 They will remember your name always, for generation after generation. Because of this, people will confess to you in eternity, even forever and ever.
haré que tu nombre sea recordado en todas las generaciones. Por eso los pueblos te darán gracias por los siglos de los siglos.
