< Psalms 42 >

1 Unto the end. The understanding of the sons of Korah. As the deer longs for fountains of water, so my soul longs for you, O God.

2 My soul has thirsted for the strong living God. When will I draw close and appear before the face of God?
Molimo na ngai ezali na posa ya Nzambe, ya Nzambe na bomoi. Tango nini nakoki kokende, mpe tango nini nakoki kokutana na Nzambe?
3 My tears have been my bread, day and night. Meanwhile, it is said to me daily: “Where is your God?”
Butu mpe moyi, mpinzoli na ngai ezalaka bilei na ngai; pamba te balobaka na ngai tango nyonso: « Nzambe na Yo azali wapi? »
4 These things I have remembered; and my soul within me, I have poured out. For I will cross into the place of the wonderful tabernacle, all the way to the house of God, with a voice of exultation and confession, the sound of feasting.
Nazalaka na posa ya kokanisa makambo oyo, ndenge mpe nasopaka molimo na ngai: Tango nazalaki kotambola kati na ebele ya bato, nazalaki komema bango kino na Tempelo ya Nzambe, kati na koganga ya esengo mpe ya kozongisa matondi lokola makelele ya bato oyo bazali na feti.
5 Why are you sad, my soul? And why do you disquiet me? Hope in God, for I will still confess to him: the salvation of my countenance,
Oh molimo na ngai, mpo na nini olembi boye? Mpo na nini ozali komitungisa makasi kati na ngai? Tia elikya na yo kati na Nzambe, pamba te nakokumisa lisusu lobiko na Ye.
6 and my God. My soul has been troubled within myself. Because of this, I will remember you from the land of the Jordan and from Hermon, from the little mountain.

7 Abyss calls upon abyss, with the voice of your floodgate. All your heights and your waves have passed over me.
Mozindo ebendaka mozindo tango bambonge na Yo nyonso etombokaka; Ezala ya mike to ya minene, elekaka likolo na ngai.
8 In the daylight, the Lord has ordered his mercy; and in the night, a canticle to him. With me is a prayer to the God of my life.
Na moyi, Yawe apesaka mitindo epai ya bolingo na Ye; na butu, nakumisaka Ye na banzembo mpe nasambelaka Nzambe ya bomoi na ngai.
9 I will say to God, “You are my supporter. Why have you forgotten me? And why do I walk in mourning, while my adversary afflicts me?”
Nalobi na Nzambe, Libanga na ngai: « Mpo na nini obosani ngai? Mpo na nini nasengeli kotambola na mawa kati na motema mpe na se ya minyoko ya monguna? »
10 While my bones are being broken, my enemies, who trouble me, have reproached me. Meanwhile, they say to me every single day, “Where is your God?”
Nzoto na ngai ekomaka kosala pasi makasi tango bayini na ngai bafingaka ngai, tango balobaka na ngai mokolo mobimba: « Wapi Nzambe na yo? »
11 My soul, why are you saddened? And why do you disquiet me? Hope in God, for I will still confess to him: the salvation of my countenance and my God.
Molimo na ngai, mpo na nini olembi boye? Mpo na nini ozali komitungisa kati na ngai? Tia elikya na yo kati na Nzambe. Nakokumisa Ye lisusu, lobiko mpe Nzambe na ngai.
