< Psalms 41 >

1 Unto the end. A Psalm of David himself. Blessed is he who shows understanding toward the needy and the poor. The Lord will deliver him in the evil day.
Nkunga Davidi kuidi pfumu minyimbidi. Lusakumunu kuidi mutu wowo thaluꞌandi yidi kuidi mutu wulebakana, Yave weti ku nkula mu thangu yi ziphasi.
2 May the Lord preserve him and give him life, and make him blessed upon the earth. And may he not hand him over to the will of his adversaries.
Yave wela kunkeba ayi wela tanina luzingu luandi; wela kunsakumuna va ntoto ayi kalendi kunyekula ko mu luzolo lu bobo beti kunlenda;
3 May the Lord bring him help on his bed of sorrow. In his infirmity, you have changed his entire covering.
Yave wela kunkindisa va mfulu andi yi kimbevo. Ngeyo wela kumbelusa va mfulu andi yi kimbevo.
4 I said, “O Lord, be merciful to me. Heal my soul, because I have sinned against you.”
Ndituba: “A Yave, wumboni kiadi. Wumbelusa bila kuidi ngeyo ndivodidi masumu.”
5 My enemies have spoken evils against me. When will he die and his name perish?
Bambeni ziama zilembo tubi mambu mu diela dimbimbi mu diambu diama: “Thangu mbi kela fua ayi dizina diandi diela lalakana e?”
6 And when he came in to see me, he was speaking emptiness. His heart gathered iniquity to itself. He went outside, and he was speaking in the same way.
yoso thangu mutu kizidi mu kuthala; mutu wowo wuntubanga luvunu. Ntimꞌandi wufulukidi mambu ma mvuezolo; buna wuntotukanga ku nganda ayi wunyolukilanga mawu.
7 All my enemies were whispering against me. They were thinking up evils against me.
Bambeni ziama zioso zilembo niunguta va kimosi mu diambu diama. Balembo yindula mambimbi mu diambu diama, balembo tubi:
8 They established an unjust word against me. Will he that sleeps no longer rise again?
“Nsongo wumbimbi wumbuididi. Kalendi buela vumbuka ko va buangu kioki kalambididi.”
9 For even the man of my peace, in whom I hoped, who ate my bread, has greatly supplanted me.
Ka diambu ko nkundi ama wu luzolo, wowo ndibedi silanga diana, wubedi kabulanga dipha diama, wumbalumukini.
10 But you, O Lord, have mercy on me, and raise me up again. And I will requite them.
Vayi ngeyo Yave, wumboni kiadi wuthedimisa. Muingi ndiba vutudila landi.
11 By this, I knew that you preferred me: because my adversary will not rejoice over me.
Nzebi ti ngeyo wunyangalalanga mu minu; mu diambu di mbeni ama kabika kundunga.
12 But you have sustained me, because of my innocence, and you have confirmed me in your sight in eternity.
Mu bufuana kuama, ngeyo wutsimba; wuthedimisa mu zithangu zioso va tuala meso maku.
13 Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, for all generations and even forever. Amen. Amen.
Nzitusu wuba kuidi Yave, Nzambi yi Iseli, mu thangu yi kayimani.
