Psalms 36
1 Unto the end. To the servant of the Lord, David himself. The unjust one has said within himself that he would commit offenses. There is no fear of God before his eyes.
(Thơ của Đa-vít, đầy tớ Chúa, soạn cho nhạc trưởng) Một lời nói trong lòng tôi về tội lỗi của người ác rằng: Nó không để tâm đến việc kính sợ Đức Chúa Trời.
2 For he has acted deceitfully in his sight, such that his iniquity will be found to be hatred.
Nó chỉ lo tâng bốc bản thân, đến nỗi không thấy tội cũng không ghét tội.
3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He is unwilling to understand, so that he may act well.
Miệng lưỡi nó đầy lời xảo trá, không chút khôn ngoan, chẳng tốt lành.
4 He has been considering iniquity on his bed. He has set himself on every way that is not good; moreover, he has not hated evil.
Nằm trên giường tính toan điều ác, quyết tâm theo con đường gian trá, không từ bỏ hành vi sai trái.
5 Lord, your mercy is in heaven, and your truth is even to the clouds.
Chúa Hằng Hữu ôi, lượng nhân từ bao la trời biển; lòng thành tín vượt quá mây ngàn.
6 Your justice is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are a great abyss. Men and beasts, you will save, O Lord.
Đức công chính sừng sững non cao, sự xét đoán sâu hơn vực thẳm. Ngài bảo tồn loài người, loài vật, lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu.
7 How you have multiplied your mercy, O God! And so the sons of men will hope under the cover of your wings.
Lòng nhân từ Chúa quý biết bao, ôi Đức Chúa Trời! Con cái loài người nương tựa mình dưới bóng cánh của Ngài.
8 They will be inebriated with the fruitfulness of your house, and you will give them to drink from the torrent of your enjoyment.
Được thỏa mãn thức ăn dư dật trong nhà Chúa, uống nước sông phước lạc từ trời.
9 For with you is the fountain of life; and within your light, we will see the light.
Vì Chúa chính là nguồn sống và ánh sáng soi chiếu chúng con.
10 Extend your mercy before those who know you, and your justice to these, who are upright in heart.
Xin cứ thương yêu người biết Chúa; xử công minh với người ngay thật.
11 May arrogant feet not approach me, and may the hand of the sinner not disturb me.
Xin đừng cho người kiêu ngạo giẫm chân con hay người ác xô đùa con xuống hố.
12 In that place, those who work iniquity have fallen. They have been expelled; they were not able to stand.
Kìa! Người làm ác ngã rạp! Họ bị xô ngã không trở dậy nổi.
