Psalms 36
1 Unto the end. To the servant of the Lord, David himself. The unjust one has said within himself that he would commit offenses. There is no fear of God before his eyes.
Mai marelui muzician, un psalm al lui David, servitorul DOMNULUI. Fărădelegea celui stricat spune înăuntrul inimii mele, că nu este teamă de Dumnezeu înaintea ochilor lui.
2 For he has acted deceitfully in his sight, such that his iniquity will be found to be hatred.
Pentru că el se flatează în propriii lui ochi, până când nelegiuirea lui se arată demnă de ură.
3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He is unwilling to understand, so that he may act well.
Cuvintele gurii lui sunt nelegiuire și înșelătorie, el a încetat a fi înțelept și a face bine.
4 He has been considering iniquity on his bed. He has set himself on every way that is not good; moreover, he has not hated evil.
El plănuiește ticăloșie pe patul său; se așază pe o cale care nu este bună; el nu detestă răul.
5 Lord, your mercy is in heaven, and your truth is even to the clouds.
Mila ta, DOAMNE, este în ceruri; și credincioșia ta ajunge până la nori.
6 Your justice is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are a great abyss. Men and beasts, you will save, O Lord.
Dreptatea ta este ca munții cei mari; judecățile tale sunt un mare adânc; DOAMNE, tu păstrezi pe om și pe animal.
7 How you have multiplied your mercy, O God! And so the sons of men will hope under the cover of your wings.
Cât de măreață este bunătatea ta iubitoare, Dumnezeule! De aceea copiii oamenilor se încred sub umbra aripilor tale.
8 They will be inebriated with the fruitfulness of your house, and you will give them to drink from the torrent of your enjoyment.
Ei se vor sătura din plin din grăsimea casei tale; și le dai să bea din râul desfătărilor tale.
9 For with you is the fountain of life; and within your light, we will see the light.
Căci la tine este fântâna vieții, în lumina ta vom vedea lumină.
10 Extend your mercy before those who know you, and your justice to these, who are upright in heart.
O, prelungește bunătatea ta iubitoare celor ce te cunosc și dreptatea ta celor integri în inimă.
11 May arrogant feet not approach me, and may the hand of the sinner not disturb me.
Nu lăsa piciorul mândriei să vină împotriva mea și nu lăsa mâna celor stricați să mă alunge.
12 In that place, those who work iniquity have fallen. They have been expelled; they were not able to stand.
Acolo sunt căzuți lucrătorii nelegiuirii, sunt aruncați jos și nu vor fi în stare să se ridice.
