< Psalms 3 >

1 A Psalm of David. When he fled from the face of his son, Absalom. Lord, why have those who trouble me been multiplied? Many rise up against me.
O IEOWA, ai imwintiti me toto, o ir me toto, me kangudi ong ia!
2 Many say to my soul, “There is no salvation for him in his God.” (Pause)
Me toto kin inda duen ngen i, me dene sota sauas pa i ren Kot. (Sela)
3 But you, Lord, are my supporter, my glory, and the one who raises up my head.
A komui Ieowa pere pa i, o komui pan kotin kalingana ia da, o kamait ia la.
4 I have cried out to the Lord with my voice, and he has heard me from his holy mountain. (Pause)
I kin likwiri ong Ieowa ki ngil laud; o a kotin mangi ai ngidingid sang ni sapwilim a dol saraui. (Sela)
5 I have slept, and I have been stupefied. But I awakened because the Lord has taken me up.
I kin wonon, o mamair, o pirida, pwe Ieowa kin kotin kolekol ia.
6 I will not fear the thousands of people surrounding me. Rise up, Lord. Save me, my God.
I sota kin masak saunpei nen pak toto, me kin kapil ia pena.
7 For you have struck all those who oppose me without cause. You have broken the teeth of sinners.
Kom kotida Maing, Ieowa o sauasa ia, ai Kot! Pwe kom kotin pikir ai imwintiti karos, o kawelar ngi en me sapung kan.
8 Salvation is of the Lord, and your blessing is upon your people. (Pause)
Ieowa me sauas patail. Kom kotin kamauiada sapwilim omui aramas akan! (Sela)
