Psalms 24

1 For the First Sabbath. A Psalm of David. The earth and all its fullness belong to the Lord: the whole world and all that dwells in it.

೧ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಭೂಮಿಯೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ಯೆಹೋವನದು; ಲೋಕವೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೂ ಆತನವೇ.

2 For he has founded it upon the seas, and he has prepared it upon the rivers.

೨ಆತನೇ ಅದರ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಸಾಗರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿದವನು; ಅದನ್ನು ಜಲರಾಶಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿದವನು ಆತನೇ.

3 Who will ascend to the mountain of the Lord? And who will stand in his holy place?

೩ಯೆಹೋವನ ಪರ್ವತವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತತಕ್ಕವನು ಯಾರು? ಆತನ ಪವಿತ್ರಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಂಥವನು ಯೋಗ್ಯನು?

4 The innocent of hands and the clean of heart, who has not received his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbor.

೪ಯಾರು ಅಯೋಗ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಡದೆ, ಮೋಸ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡದೆ, ಶುದ್ಧಹಸ್ತವೂ, ನಿರ್ಮಲಮನಸ್ಸೂ ಉಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೋ,

5 He will receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God, his Savior.

೫ಅವನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಶುಭವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನು; ತನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಕನಾದ ದೇವರಿಂದ ನೀತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವನು.

6 This is the generation that seeks him, that seeks the face of the God of Jacob.

೬ಇಂಥವರೇ ಆತನ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಬಯಸುವವರು. ಯಾಕೋಬ್ಯರ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸೇರುವವರು ಇಂಥವರೇ. (ಸೆಲಾ)

7 Lift up your gates, you princes, and be lifted up, eternal gates. And the King of Glory shall enter.

೭ದ್ವಾರಗಳೇ, ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿರ್ರಿ! ಪುರಾತನವಾದ ಕದಗಳೇ ತೆರೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರ್ರಿ! ಮಹಾಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಅರಸನು ಆಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

8 Who is this King of Glory? The Lord who is strong and powerful; the Lord powerful in battle.

೮ಮಹಾಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಈ ಅರಸನು ಯಾರು? ಮಹಾ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನೂ, ವಿಶೇಷ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ, ಯುದ್ಧವೀರನಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ.

9 Lift up your gates, you princes, and be lifted up, eternal gates. And the King of Glory shall enter.

೯ದ್ವಾರಗಳೇ, ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿರ್ರಿ! ಪುರಾತನವಾದ ಕದಗಳೇ, ತೆರೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರ್ರಿ! ಮಹಾಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಅರಸನು ಆಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

10 Who is this King of Glory? The Lord of virtue. He himself is the King of Glory.

೧೦ಮಹಾಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಈ ಅರಸನು ಯಾರು? ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಮಹಾಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಅರಸನು ಈತನೇ. (ಸೆಲಾ)
