Psalms 21

1 Unto the end. A Psalm of David. In your virtue, Lord, the king will rejoice, and over your salvation, he will exult exceedingly.

۱ برای سالار مغنیان. مزمور داود ای خداوند در قوت تو پادشاه شادی می کند و در نجات تو چه بسیار به وجدخواهد آمد.

2 You have granted him the desire of his heart, and you have not cheated him of the wish of his lips.

۲ مراد دل او را به وی بخشیدی و مسالت زبانش را از او دریغ نداشتی. سلاه.

3 For you have gone ahead of him with blessings of sweetness. You have placed a crown of precious stones on his head.

۳ زیرابه برکات نیکو بر مراد او سبقت جستی. تاجی اززر خالص برسر وی نهادی.

4 He petitioned you for life, and you have granted him length of days, in the present time, and forever and ever.

۴ حیات را از توخواست و آن را به وی دادی، و طول ایام را تاابدالاباد.

5 Great is his glory in your salvation. Glory and great adornment, you will lay upon him.

۵ جلال او به‌سبب نجات تو عظیم شده. اکرام و حشمت را بر او نهاده‌ای.

6 For you will give him as a blessing forever and ever. You will make him rejoice with gladness in your presence.

۶ زیرا او رامبارک ساخته‌ای تا ابدالاباد. به حضور خود او رابی نهایت شادمان گردانیده‌ای.

7 Because the king hopes in the Lord, and in the mercy of the Most High, he will not be disturbed.

۷ زیرا که پادشاه برخداوند توکل می‌دارد، و به رحمت حضرت اعلی جنبش نخواهد خورد.

8 May your hand be found by all your enemies. May your right hand discover all those who hate you.

۸ دست تو همه دشمنانت را خواهد دریافت. دست راست تو آنانی را که از تو نفرت دارندخواهد دریافت.

9 You will make them like an oven of fire, in the time of your presence. The Lord will stir them up with his wrath, and fire will devour them.

۹ در وقت غضب خود، ایشان راچون تنور آتش خواهی ساخت. خداوند ایشان را در خشم خود خواهد بلعید و آتش ایشان راخواهد خورد.

10 You will destroy their fruit from the earth and their offspring from the sons of men.

۱۰ ثمره ایشان را از زمین هلاک خواهی ساخت و ذریت ایشان را از میان بنی آدم.

11 For they have turned evils upon you; they have devised plans, which they have not been able to accomplish.

۱۱ زیرا قصد بدی برای تو کردند و مکایدی رااندیشیدند که آن را نتوانستند بجا آورد.

12 For you will make them turn their back; with your remnants, you will prepare their countenance.

۱۲ زیراکه ایشان را روگردان خواهی ساخت. بر زههای خود تیرها را به روی ایشان نشان خواهی گرفت.

13 Be exalted, Lord, by your own power. We will play music and sing psalms to your virtues.

۱۳ ‌ای خداوند در قوت خود متعال شو. جبروت تو را ترنم و تسبیح خواهیم خواند.
