Psalms 115
1 Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory.
൧ഞങ്ങൾക്കല്ല, യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങൾക്കല്ല, അങ്ങയുടെ ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയും നിമിത്തം അങ്ങയുടെ നാമത്തിന് തന്നെ മഹത്വം വരുത്തണമേ.
2 Give glory to your mercy and your truth, lest the Gentiles should say, “Where is their God?”
൨“അവരുടെ ദൈവം എവിടെ?” എന്ന് ജനതകൾ പറയുന്നതെന്തിന്?
3 But our God is in heaven. All things whatsoever that he has willed, he has done.
൩നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ ഉണ്ട്; തനിക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളതെല്ലാം അവിടുന്ന് ചെയ്യുന്നു.
4 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the works of the hands of men.
൪അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും ആകുന്നു; മനുഷ്യരുടെ കൈവേല തന്നെ.
5 They have mouths, and do not speak; they have eyes, and do not see.
൫അവയ്ക്കു വായുണ്ടെങ്കിലും സംസാരിക്കുന്നില്ല; കണ്ണുണ്ടെങ്കിലും കാണുന്നില്ല.
6 They have ears, and do not hear; they have noses, and do not smell.
൬അവയ്ക്കു ചെവിയുണ്ടെങ്കിലും കേൾക്കുന്നില്ല; മൂക്കുണ്ടെങ്കിലും മണക്കുന്നില്ല.
7 They have hands, and do not feel; they have feet, and do not walk. Neither will they cry out with their throat.
൭അവയ്ക്കു കൈയുണ്ടെങ്കിലും സ്പർശിക്കുന്നില്ല; കാലുണ്ടെങ്കിലും നടക്കുന്നില്ല; തൊണ്ട കൊണ്ട് സംസാരിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.
8 Let those who make them become like them, along with all who trust in them.
൮അവയെ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നവർ അവയെപ്പോലെ ആകുന്നു; അവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ.
9 The house of Israel has hoped in the Lord. He is their helper and their protector.
൯യിസ്രായേലേ, യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുക; കർത്താവ് അവരുടെ സഹായവും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു;
10 The house of Aaron has hoped in the Lord. He is their helper and their protector.
൧൦അഹരോൻഗൃഹമേ, യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുക; ദൈവം അവരുടെ സഹായവും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു.
11 Those who fear the Lord have hoped in the Lord. He is their helper and their protector.
൧൧യഹോവാഭക്തന്മാരേ, യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുക; ദൈവം അവരുടെ സഹായവും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു.
12 The Lord has been mindful of us, and he has blessed us. He has blessed the house of Israel. He has blessed the house of Aaron.
൧൨യഹോവ നമ്മെ ഓർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടുന്ന് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; ദൈവം യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; ദൈവം അഹരോൻഗൃഹത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും.
13 He has blessed all who fear the Lord, the small with the great.
൧൩ദൈവം യഹോവാഭക്തന്മാരായ ചെറിയവരെയും വലിയവരെയും അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും.
14 May the Lord add blessings upon you: upon you, and upon your sons.
൧൪യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ മേല്ക്കുമേൽ വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ; നിങ്ങളെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെയും തന്നെ.
15 Blessed are you by the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
൧൫ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യഹോവയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ ആകുന്നു.
16 The heaven of heaven is for the Lord, but the earth he has given to the sons of men.
൧൬സ്വർഗ്ഗം യഹോവയുടെ സ്വർഗ്ഗമാകുന്നു; ഭൂമിയെ അവിടുന്ന് മനുഷ്യർക്ക് കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
17 The dead will not praise you, Lord, and neither will all those who descend into Hell. (questioned)
൧൭മരിച്ചവരും മൗനതയിൽ ഇറങ്ങിയവരും യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നില്ല.
18 But we who live will bless the Lord, from this time forward, and even forever.
൧൮നാമോ, ഇന്നുമുതൽ എന്നേക്കും യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തും. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുവിൻ.
