< Psalms 112 >
1 Alleluia. Of the return of Haggai and Zachariah. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord. He will prefer his commandments exceedingly.
Praise Yahweh - how blessed! [is] a person fearing Yahweh in commandments his he delights exceedingly.
2 His offspring will be powerful on the earth. The generation of the upright will be blessed.
Mighty in the land it will be offspring his [the] generation of upright [people] it will be blessed.
3 Glory and wealth will be in his house, and his justice shall remain from age to age.
Wealth and rich[es] [are] in house his and righteousness his [is] enduring for ever.
4 For the upright, a light has risen up in the darkness. He is merciful and compassionate and just.
It rises in the darkness light for the upright [people] [the] gracious and [the] compassionate and [the] righteous.
5 Pleasing is the man who shows mercy and lends. He will order his words with judgment.
[is] good A person [who] shows favor and [who] lends he maintains affairs his with justice.
6 For he will not be disturbed in eternity.
For for ever not he will be shaken a memory of perpetuity he will become a righteous [person].
7 The just one will be an everlasting memorial. He will not fear a report of disasters. His heart is prepared to hope in the Lord.
From new[s] bad not he will be afraid [is] steadfast heart his trusting in Yahweh.
8 His heart has been confirmed. He will not be disturbed, until he looks down upon his enemies.
[is] supported Heart his not he will be afraid until that he will look on foes his.
9 He has distributed, he has given to the poor. His justice shall remain from age to age. His horn shall be exalted in glory.
He scatters - he gives to needy [people] righteousness his [is] enduring for ever horn his it will be exalted in honor.
10 The sinner will see and become angry. He will gnash his teeth and waste away. The desire of sinners will perish.
A wicked [person] he will see - and he will be angry teeth his he will gnash and he will melt away [the] desire of wicked [people] it will perish.
