< Psalms 110 >
1 A Psalm of David. The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”
Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Mukama yagamba Mukama wange nti: “Tuula wano ku mukono gwange ogwa ddyo, okutuusa lwe ndimala okufufuggaza abalabe bo ne mbassa wansi w’ebigere byo.”
2 The Lord will send forth the scepter of your virtue from Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies.
Mukama aligaziya obufuzi bwo okuva mu Sayuuni; olifuga abalabe bo.
3 It is with you from the beginning, in the day of your virtue, in the splendor of the saints. From conception, before the light-bearer, I begot you.
Abantu bo balyewaayo bokka mu ggye lyo ng’ekiseera ky’olutalo kituuse. Abavubuka bo, nga bali mu by’ekitiibwa ekitukuvu, balikukuŋŋaanirako ng’omusulo bwe gulabika ng’obudde bwakakya.
4 The Lord has sworn, and he will not repent: “You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.”
Mukama yalayira, era tagenda kukijjulula, yagamba nti, “Olibeera kabona emirembe gyonna ng’engeri ya Merukizeddeeki bw’eri.”
5 The Lord is at your right hand. He has broken kings in the day of his wrath.
Mukama anaakulwaniriranga; bakabaka abakulwanyisa anaababetentanga mu busungu bwe obungi.
6 He will judge between the nations; he will fill up ruination. He will shatter heads in the land of the many.
Aliramula amawanga, abafuzi b’ensi yonna n’abazikiriza, n’entuumo z’emirambo ziriba nnyingi ku nsi yonna.
7 He will drink from the torrent on the way. Because of this, he will exalt the head.
Alinywa amazzi mu kagga ku kkubo, n’addamu amaanyi ag’obuwanguzi.
