< Psalms 11 >
1 Unto the end. A Psalm of David. I trust in the Lord. How can you say to my soul, “Sojourn to the mountain, like a sparrow.”
[Psalm lal David] Nga lulalfongi tuh LEUM GOD El nien molela luk. Fuka lupan nikin lom ke kom fahk nu sik, “Sohkla oana sie won sohksok nu fineol uh,
2 For behold, the sinners have bent their bow. They have prepared their arrows in the quiver, so as to shoot arrows in the dark at the upright of heart.
Mweyen mwet koluk elos kifusya mwe pisr natulos ac ngasla sukan pisr natulos Liki acn lohsr tuh elos in pisrki mwet suwoswos.
3 For they have destroyed the things that you have completed. But what has the just one done?
Mea pac sie mwet suwoswos ku in oru, Pwelung uh fin kunausyukla?”
4 The Lord is in his holy temple. The Lord’s throne is in heaven. His eyes look upon the poor. His eyelids question the sons of men.
LEUM GOD El muta in Tempul mutal sel; Tron lal oasr inkusrao. El liye mwet nukewa in acn nukewa Ac El etu lah mea elos oru.
5 The Lord questions the just and the impious. Yet he who loves iniquity, hates his own soul.
El srike na kewa mwet wo ac mwet koluk; Ac El arulana kwase mwet su lungse oru ma sulallal.
6 He will rain down snares upon sinners. Fire and brimstone and windstorms will be the portion of their cup.
El fah kahkin mulut ngeng ac fofosr in sulfur nu fin mwet koluk; El ac akkeokyalos ke eng follana.
7 For the Lord is just, and he has chosen justice. His countenance has beheld equity.
Tuh LEUM GOD El suwoswos ac El lungse orekma wo; Elos su oru ma wo, elos mutana yorol.
