Psalms 108
1 A Canticle Psalm, of David himself. My heart is prepared, O God, my heart is prepared. I will sing songs, and I will sing psalms in my glory.
Uma Canção. Um Salmo de David. Meu coração está firme, Deus. Cantarei e farei música com minha alma.
2 Rise up, my glory. Rise up, Psalter and harp. I will arise in early morning.
Wake para cima, harpa e lira! Vou acordar o amanhecer.
3 I will confess to you, O Lord, among the peoples. And I will sing psalms to you among the nations.
Eu lhe darei graças, Javé, entre as nações. Cantarei louvores a vocês entre os povos.
4 For your mercy is great, beyond the heavens, and your truth, even to the clouds.
Pois sua amorosa gentileza é grande acima dos céus. Sua fidelidade chega até os céus.
5 Be exalted, O God, beyond the heavens, and your glory, beyond all the earth,
Seja exaltado, Deus, acima dos céus! Que sua glória esteja sobre toda a terra.
6 so that your beloved may be freed. Save with your right hand, and heed me.
Para que sua amada possa ser entregue, economize com sua mão direita e nos responda.
7 God has spoken in his holiness. I will exult, and I will divide Shechem, and I will divide by measure the steep valley of tabernacles.
God falou a partir de seu santuário: “Em triunfo”, Vou dividir Shechem, e medir o vale de Succoth.
8 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine, and Ephraim is the supporter of my head. Judah is my king.
Gilead é meu. Manasseh é meu. Ephraim também é meu capacete. Judah é meu ceptro.
9 Moab is the cooking pot of my hope. I will extend my shoe in Idumea; the foreigners have become my friends.
Moab é o meu pote de lavagem. Vou jogar minha sandália na Edom. Vou gritar sobre a Filístia”.
10 Who will lead me into the fortified city? Who will lead me, even into Idumea?
Who vai me trazer para a cidade fortificada? Quem me levará à Edom?
11 Will not you, O God, who had rejected us? And will not you, O God, go out with our armies?
Haven você não nos rejeitou, Deus? Você não sai, Deus, com nossos exércitos.
12 Grant us help from tribulation, for vain is the help of man.
Give nós ajudamos contra o inimigo, pois a ajuda do homem é vaidosa.
13 In God, we will act virtuously, and he will bring our enemies to nothing.
Through Deus, nós faremos valentemente, pois é ele quem vai pisar em nossos inimigos.
