Psalms 100

1 A Psalm of Confession.

En salme til lovprisning. Rop med fryd for Herren, all jorden!

2 Shout joyfully to God, all the earth. Serve the Lord with rejoicing. Enter into his sight in exultation.

Tjen Herren med glede, kom frem for hans åsyn med jubel!

3 Know that the Lord himself is God. He made us, and we ourselves did not. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

Kjenn at Herren er Gud! Han har skapt oss, og ikke vi selv, til sitt folk og til den hjord han før.

4 Enter his gates with confession, his courts with hymns, and acknowledge him. Praise his name.

Gå inn i hans porter med pris, i hans forgårder med lov, pris ham, lov hans navn!

5 For the Lord is sweet, his mercy is in eternity, and his truth is from generation to generation.

For Herren er god; hans miskunnhet varer til evig tid, og hans trofasthet fra slekt til slekt.
