Proverbs 2
1 My son, if you would accept my words, and conceal my commandments within you,
Сыне, аще приим глагол моея заповеди, скрыеши в себе,
2 so that your ears may listen to wisdom, then bend your heart in order to know prudence.
послушает премудрости твое ухо, и приложиши сердце твое к разуму: приложиши же е в наказание сыну твоему.
3 For if you would call upon wisdom and bend your heart to prudence,
Аще бо премудрость призовеши и разуму даси глас твой, чувство же взыщеши великим гласом,
4 if you will seek her like money, and dig for her as if for treasure,
и аще взыщеши ея яко сребра, и якоже сокровища испытаеши ю:
5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and you will discover the knowledge of God.
тогда уразумееши страх Господень и познание Божие обрящеши:
6 For the Lord bestows wisdom, and out of his mouth, prudence and knowledge.
яко Господь дает премудрость, и от лица Его познание и разум:
7 He will preserve the salvation of the righteous, and he will protect those who walk in simplicity:
и сокровищствует исправляющым спасение, защищает же шествие их,
8 serving the paths of justice, and guarding the ways of sanctity.
еже сохранити пути оправданий, и путь благоговеинствующих Его сохранит.
9 Then you shall understand justice and judgment, and equity, and every good path.
Тогда уразумееши правду и суд и исправиши вся стези благия.
10 If wisdom is to enter into your heart, and if knowledge is to become pleasing to your soul,
Аще бо приидет премудрость в твою мысль, чувство же твоей души добро быти возмнится.
11 then counsel must guard you, and prudence must serve you,
Совет добр сохранит тя, помышление же преподобное соблюдет тя,
12 so that you may be rescued from the evil way, and from the man who speaks perversities,
да избавит тя от пути злаго и от мужа, глаголюща ничтоже верно.
13 from those who leave the straight path to walk in dark ways,
О, оставившии пути правыя, еже ходити в путех тмы!
14 who rejoice when they have done evil, and who exult in the most wicked things.
О, веселящиися о злых и радующиися о развращении злем!
15 Their ways are perverse, and their steps are infamous.
Ихже стези стропотны, и крива течения их, еже далече тя сотворити от пути права,
16 So may you be rescued from the foreign woman, and from the outsider, who softens her speech,
и чужда от праведнаго разума. Сыне, да тя не постигнет совет злый,
17 and who leaves behind the Guide of her youth,
оставляяй учение юности, и завета Божественнаго забывый:
18 and who has forgotten the covenant of her God. For her household inclines toward death, and her paths toward Hell. (questioned)
постави бо при смерти дом свой и при аде с земными деяния своя. (questioned)
19 All those who enter to her will not return again, nor will they take hold of the paths of life.
Вси ходящии по нему не возвратятся, ниже постигнут стезь правых: ни бо достигнут лет жизни.
20 So may you walk in the good way, and keep to the difficult paths of the just.
Аще бо быша ходили в стези благия, обрели убо быша стези правы гладки: блази будут жителие на земли, незлобивии же останут на ней:
21 For those who are upright shall live upon the earth, and the simple shall continue upon it.
яко правии вселятся на земли, и преподобнии останут на ней.
22 Yet truly, the impious shall perish from the earth, and those who act unjustly shall be taken away from it.
Путие нечестивых от земли погибнут, пребеззаконнии же изринутся от нея.
