1 A mild response shatters anger. But a harsh word stirs up fury.
Akohenka antefru hunka kenona hanana zamo, rimpa akahe'zana eri'amane hugahie. Hianagi hakrugema hanana zamo'a, rimpahe'zana azeri otigahie.
2 The tongue of the wise adorns knowledge. But the mouth of the senseless gushes with foolishness.
Knare antahi'zane vahe'mofo agipintira, knare antahi'za e'nige'za vahe'mo'za antahi muse hugahaze. Hianagi neginagi vahe'mofo agipintira, neginagi kemo akaha huneramie.
3 In every place, the eyes of the Lord consider good and evil.
Ra Anumzamo'a mika kaziga kefo vahete'ene, knare vahetera avua keteno nemanie.
4 A peaceful tongue is a tree of life. But that which is immoderate will crush the spirit.
Fru kema hu'zamo'a vahe'mofo asimu ami zafagna hu'ne. Hianagi akrehe akrehe kema hu'zamo'a, vahe'mofo agu'a ahenefri.
5 A fool laughs at the discipline of his father. But whoever preserves rebukes will become astute. In abundant justice, there is very great virtue. But the intentions of the impious will be eradicated.
Neginagi antahi'zane vahe'mo'a nefa'ma azeri fatgo hiankea nontahie. Hianagi iza'o azeri fatgoma hiankema antahimo'a, knare antahi'za e'nerie.
6 The house of the just has very great strength. And in the fruits of the impious, there is disorder.
Fatgo vahe'mokizmia nozamifina, fenozamo avinete. Hianagi kefo vahe'mo'za erisaza mizana, hazenke'za erigahaze.
7 The lips of the wise shall disseminate knowledge. The heart of the foolish will be dissimilar.
Knare antahi'zane vahe'mo'za, antahi'zana vahera nezamize. Hianagi neginagi antahi'zane vahe'mo'za, anahura osugahaze.
8 The sacrifices of the impious are abominable to the Lord. The vows of the just are appeasing.
Kefo avu'ava'ma nehaza vahe'mo'zama, Ra Anumzamofonte'ma Kresramanama vunentaza zankura, agonete. Hianagi fatgo vahe'mo'zama haza nunamunku, Agra muse nehie.
9 The way of the impious is an abomination to the Lord. Whoever pursues justice is loved by him.
Kefo vahe'mo'ma hia avu'ava zankura, Ra Anumzamo'a agotenente. Hianagi fatgo avu'ava'ma huzanku'ma kazigazima hia vahe'mofona, Ra Anumzamo'a avesinente.
10 Doctrine is evil to those who abandon the way of life. Whoever hates correction shall die.
Fatgo kamofoma amefi humisimo'a, tusi'a hazenke erigahie. Iza'o azeri fatgohu kemofoma avesrama huntesimo'a, frigahie.
11 Hell and perdition are in the sight of the Lord. How much more the hearts of the sons of men! (Sheol )
Fri' vahe'mofo kuma'mo'ene fri'zamo'a, Ra Anumzamofo avurera amate me'neankino, tagutumotia keno antahino hu'ne! (Sheol )
12 He who corrupts himself does not love the one who afflicts him, nor will he step toward the wise.
Veganokno kema hu vahe'mo'za, azeri fatgoma hanimofona avesra hunenteno, ama' antahi'zane vahe'mofontera aza hinogura urava'o osugahie.
13 A rejoicing heart gladdens the face. But by the grief of the soul, the spirit is cast down.
Krimpamo'ma musema hu'nesigeno'a, kavu'gosafintira knare huno kizanki'za hugahie. Hianagi karimpamo'ma musema osu'nesigeno'a, kavugosamo'a rugaririgahie.
14 The heart of the wise seeks doctrine. And the mouth of the foolish feeds on ignorance.
Ama' antahi'zane vahe'mo'za antahi'zama eri'zankura zamaganete. Hianagi neginagi antahi'zane vahe'mofona havi kemo'a, ne'zama'agna hugahie.
15 All the days of the poor are evil. A secure mind is like a continual feast.
Zamunte omane vahe'mo'za mika zupa maniza'zmifina tusi'a amuho nehu'za maragu'zanetize. Hianagi muse arimpane manisimo'a, ne'zane tine neneno muse huvava hugahie.
16 Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, than great treasures and dissatisfaction.
Osi'a fenoma anteneta Ra Anumzamofonku'ma kore'ma hunte'nuna zamo'a, rama'a fenoza ante'neta hazenkema erizana agaterene.
17 It is better to be called to vegetables with charity, than to a fatted calf with hatred.
Vahe'ma avesinentenka hozafi kamo'ma osia refko hunka ne'zamo'a, ra bulimakao afu'ma ahegino rimpagnanema refkoma huno ne'zana erifru nehie.
18 A short-tempered man provokes conflicts. Whoever is patient tempers those who are stirred up.
Ame huno'ma rimpama ahe vahe'mo, haframa hu'zana eri fore nehie. Hianagi akohenoma rimpa fru huno mani vahe'mo'a haframa hu'zana erifru nehie.
19 The way of the slothful is like a hedge of thorns. The way of the just is without offense.
Eri'za e'ori feru'ma mani vahe'mofo kamo'a, ave'ave trazampima neviankna hu'ne. Hianagi mani fatgo hu'za mani vahe'mokizmi kamo'a ranka me'nege'za nevaze.
20 A wise son gladdens the father. But the foolish man despises his mother.
Ama' antahi'zama me'nea mofavremofo nefa'a, muse nehie. Hianagi neginagi ne'mo'a, nererana kefenkaminetre.
21 Folly is gladness to the foolish. And the prudent man sets his own steps in order.
Antahi'zama'a omane vahe'mo'a, neginagi avu'ava zankura muse hugahie. Hianagi ama' antahi'zane vahe'mo'a, knare zanke nehuno, fatgo kante nevie.
22 Intentions dissipate where there is no counsel. Yet truly, they are confirmed where there are many counselors.
Knare antahi'zama vahepinti e'orinenka mago'a zama retro'ma hunaku'ma hananana, ana zamo'a forera osugahie. Hianagi rama'a knare antahintahima eritenka, retro'ma hanana zamo'a, efore hugahie.
23 A man rejoices in the verdict of his own mouth. And a word at the right time is best.

24 The path of life is for the wise above, so that he may turn away from the end of Hell. (Sheol )

25 The Lord will demolish the house of the arrogant. And He will make firm the borders of the widow.
Ra Anumzamo'a avufama eri antesgama hanimofona nomani'zama'a, eri haviza hugahie. Hianagi kento a'mofo fenoma'ane nonkuma'a, kegava huntegahie.
26 Evil intentions are an abomination to the Lord. And pure conversation, most beautiful, shall be confirmed by him.
Kefo avu'avaza'ma hu antahi'zama retroma huzankura, Ra Anumzamo'a avesra huno agonete. Hianagi avusese hu'nea kema huzankura, Agra muse nehie.
27 Whoever pursues avarice disturbs his own house. But whoever hates bribes shall live. Through mercy and faith, sins are purged. But through the fear of the Lord, each one turns aside from evil.
Iza'o mika'za rehatri huno nagrike zanema hu' vahe'mo'a, hazenke erino naga'afina efregahie. Hianagi havi kazigati'ma masavema huno mizama sezanku'ma avesrama huntesimo'a, knare huno manigahie.
28 The mind of the just meditates on obedience. The mouth of the impious overflows with evils.
Fatgo agu'ane vahe'mo'a agesa antahiteno, kenona nehie. Hanki kefo vahe'mofo agipintira, kefoge atineramie.
29 The Lord is distant from the impious. And he will heed the prayers of the just.
Ra Anumzamo'a kefo zamavu'zmava'ma nehaza vahe'mokizmirera, afete nemanie. Hianagi fatgo vahe'mokizmi nunamunte, agesa anteno antahinezamie.
30 The light of the eyes rejoices the soul. A good reputation fattens the bones.
Musema nehia vahe'mofo avufima kesanana, muse hugahane. Knare'zama hu'nesia zamofo agenkema hu ke'mo'a, vahe'mofona zaferina kampina azeri fru hugahie.
31 The ear that listens to the reproofs of life shall abide in the midst of the wise.
Iza'o so'e nomani'zama manisiegu'ma, azeri fatgoma hu kema nehinkeno antahisimo'a, knare antahi'zane vahe'mo'zama manisaza amu'nompi manigahie.
32 Whoever rejects discipline despises his own soul. But whoever agrees to correction is a possessor of the heart.
Iza'o azeri fatgo hu kema nehanigeno ontahisimo'a, agra'a azeri haviza nehie. Hianagi iza'o azeri fatgo hu kema nehinkeno, antahisimo'a, ama' antahintahi erigahie.
33 The fear of the Lord is the discipline of wisdom. And humility precedes glory.
Ra Anumzamofonku kore'ma hunteno agoragama mani avu'avazamo, vahe'mofona knare antahintahia rempi hunemie. Hagi kagrama anteraminka manisunka, rankagia erigahane.
