Numbers 1
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses in the desert of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the covenant, on the first day of the second month, in the year after their departure from Egypt, saying:
E o SENHOR falou a Moisés no deserto de Sinai, no tabernáculo do testemunho, no primeiro dia do mês segundo, no segundo ano de sua saída da terra do Egito, dizendo:
2 “Take a total of the entire assembly of the sons of Israel, by their families and houses, and the names of each one, of whomever is of the male sex,
Tomai o censo de toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel por suas famílias, pelas casas de seus pais, com a conta dos nomes, todos os homens por suas cabeças:
3 from twenty years and above, of all the able-bodied men out of Israel, and you shall number them by their companies, you and Aaron.
De vinte anos acima, todos os que podem sair à guerra em Israel, os contareis tu e Arão por suas tropas.
4 And there shall be with you the leaders of the tribes, as well as of the houses, in their kinships,
E estará convosco um homem de cada tribo, cada um chefe da casa de seus pais.
5 the names of whom are these: of Ruben, Elizur the son of Shedeur;
E estes são os nomes dos homens que estarão convosco: Da tribo de Rúben, Elizur filho de Sedeur.
6 of Simeon, Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai;
De Simeão, Selumiel filho de Zurisadai.
7 of Judah, Nahshon the son of Amminadab;
De Judá, Naassom filho de Aminadabe.
8 of Issachar, Nathanael the son of Zuar;
De Issacar, Natanael filho de Zuar.
9 of Zebulon, Eliab the son of Helon.
De Zebulom, Eliabe filho de Helom.
10 And from the sons of Joseph: of Ephraim, Elishama the son of Ammihud; of Manasseh, Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur;
Dos filhos de José: de Efraim, Elisama filho de Amiúde; de Manassés, Gamaliel filho de Pedazur.
11 of Benjamin, Abidan the son of Gideoni;
De Benjamim, Abidã filho de Gideoni.
12 of Dan, Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai;
De Dã, Aiezer filho de Amisadai.
13 of Asher, Pagiel the son of Ochran;
De Aser, Pagiel filho de Ocrã.
14 of Gad, Eliasaph the son of Reuel;
De Gade, Eliasafe filho de Deuel.
15 of Naphtali, Ahira the son of Enan.”
De Naftali, Aira filho de Enã.
16 These are the very noble leaders of the multitude, by their tribes and kinships, and the heads of the army of Israel.
Estes foram os nomeados da congregação, príncipes das tribos de seus pais, capitães dos milhares de Israel.
17 Moses and Aaron took these, with all the multitude of the common people,
Tomou pois Moisés e Arão a estes homens que foram declarados por seus nomes:
18 and they gathered them together on the first day of the second month, taking a census of them by kinships, and houses, and families, and heads, and the names of each one from twenty years and above,
E juntaram toda a congregação no primeiro dia do mês segundo, e foram reunidos suas linhagens, pelas casas de seus pais, segundo a conta dos nomes, de vinte anos acima, por suas cabeças,
19 just as the Lord had instructed Moses. And they were numbered in the desert of Sinai.
Como o SENHOR o havia mandado a Moisés; e contou-os no deserto de Sinai.
20 Of Ruben, the firstborn of Israel, by their generations and families and houses, and the names of each head, of all who were of the male sex, from twenty years and above, capable of going to war,
E os filhos de Rúben, primogênito de Israel, por suas gerações, por suas famílias, pelas casas de seus pais, conforme a conta dos nomes por suas cabeças, todos os homens de vinte anos acima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra;
21 there were forty-six thousand five hundred.
Os contados deles, da tribo de Rúben, foram quarenta e seis mil e quinhentos.
22 Of the sons of Simeon, by their generations and families, and the houses of their kinships, having been counted by the names and heads of each one, of all who were of the male sex, from twenty years and above, capable of going to war,
Dos filhos de Simeão, por suas gerações, por suas famílias, pelas casas de seus pais, os contados deles conforme a conta dos nomes por suas cabeças, todos os homens de vinte anos acima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra;
23 there were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
Os contados deles, da tribo de Simeão, cinquenta e nove mil e trezentos.
24 Of the sons of Gad, by their generations and families, and the houses of their kinships, having been counted by the names of each one, from twenty years and above, of all who could go forth to war,
Dos filhos de Gade, por suas gerações, por suas famílias, pelas casas de seus pais, conforme a conta dos nomes, de vinte anos acima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra;
25 there were forty-five thousand six hundred fifty.
Os contados deles, da tribo de Gade, quarenta e cinco mil seiscentos e cinquenta.
26 Of the sons of Judah, by their generations and families, and the houses of their kinships, by the names of each one, from twenty years and above, of all who were able to go forth to war,
Dos filhos de Judá, por suas gerações, por suas famílias, pelas casas de seus pais, conforme a conta dos nomes, de vinte anos acima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra;
27 there were counted seventy-four thousand six hundred.
Os contados deles, da tribo de Judá, setenta e quatro mil e seiscentos.
28 Of the sons of Issachar, by their generations and families, and the houses of their kinships, by the names of each one, from twenty years and above, of all who could go forth to war,
Dos filhos de Issacar, por suas gerações, por suas famílias, pelas casas de seus pais, conforme a conta dos nomes, de vinte anos acima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra;
29 there were counted fifty-four thousand four hundred.
Os contados deles, da tribo de Issacar, cinquenta e quatro mil e quatrocentos.
30 Of the sons of Zebulon, by their generations and families, and the houses of their kinships, having been counted by the names of each one, from twenty years and above, of all who were able to go forth to war,
Dos filhos de Zebulom, por suas gerações, por suas famílias, pelas casas de seus pais, conforme a conta de seus nomes, de vinte anos acima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra;
31 there were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.
Os contados deles, da tribo de Zebulom, cinquenta e sete mil e quatrocentos.
32 From the sons of Joseph, of the sons of Ephraim, by their generations and families, and the houses of their kinships, having been counted by the names of each one, from twenty years and above, of all who were able to go forth to war,
Dos filhos de José: dos filhos de Efraim, por suas gerações, por suas famílias, pelas casas de seus pais, conforme a conta dos nomes, de vinte anos acima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra;
33 there were forty thousand five hundred.
Os contados deles, da tribo de Efraim, quarenta mil e quinhentos.
34 Furthermore, of the sons of Manasseh, by their generations and families, and the houses of their kinships, having been counted by the names of each one, from twenty years and above, of all who were able to go forth to war,
Dos filhos de Manassés, por suas gerações, por suas famílias, pelas casas de seus pais, conforme a conta dos nomes, de vinte anos acima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra;
35 there were thirty-two thousand two hundred.
Os contados deles, da tribo de Manassés, trinta e dois mil e duzentos.
36 Of the sons of Benjamin, by their generations and families, and the houses of their kinships, having been counted by the names of each one, from twenty years and above, of all who were able to go forth to war,
Dos filhos de Benjamim, por suas gerações, por suas famílias, pelas casas de seus pais, conforme a conta dos nomes, de vinte anos acima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra;
37 there were thirty-five thousand four hundred.
Os contados deles, da tribo de Benjamim, trinta e cinco mil e quatrocentos.
38 Of the sons of Dan, by their generations and families, and the houses of their kinships, having been counted by the names of each one, from twenty years and above, of all who were able to go forth to war,
Dos filhos de Dã, por suas gerações, por suas famílias, pelas casas de seus pais, conforme a conta dos nomes, de vinte anos acima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra;
39 there were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.
Os contados deles, da tribo de Dã, sessenta e dois mil e setecentos.
40 Of the sons of Asher, by their generations and families, and the houses of their kinships, having been counted by the names of each one, from twenty years and above, of all who were able to go forth to war,
Dos filhos de Aser, por suas gerações, por suas famílias, pelas casas de seus pais, conforme a conta dos nomes, de vinte anos acima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra.
41 there were forty thousand and one thousand five hundred.
Os contados deles, da tribo de Aser, quarenta e um mil e quinhentos.
42 Of the sons of Naphtali, by their generations and families, and the houses of their kinships, having been counted by the names of each one, from twenty years and above, of all who were able to go forth to war,
Dos filhos de Naftali, por suas gerações, por suas famílias, pelas casas de seus pais, conforme a conta dos nomes, de vinte anos acima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra;
43 there were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
Os contados deles, da tribo de Naftali, cinquenta e três mil e quatrocentos.
44 These are the ones who were numbered by Moses and Aaron and the twelve leaders of Israel, each one by the houses of their kinships.
Estes foram os contados, os quais contaram Moisés e Arão, com os príncipes de Israel, que eram doze, um por cada casa de seus pais.
45 And the entire number of the sons of Israel by their houses and families, from twenty years and above, who were able to go forth to war, were
E foram todos os contados dos filhos de Israel pelas casas de seus pais, de vinte anos acima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra em Israel;
46 six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty men.
Foram todos os contados seiscentos três mil quinhentos e cinquenta.
47 But the Levites in the tribes of their families were not numbered with them.
Porém os levitas não foram contados entre eles segundo a tribo de seus pais.
48 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
Porque falou o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:
49 “Do not number the tribe of Levi, neither shall you take a total of them with the sons of Israel.
Somente não contarás a tribo de Levi, nem tomarás a conta deles entre os filhos de Israel:
50 But appoint them over the tabernacle of the testimony, and all its vessels, and whatever pertains to the ceremonies. They shall carry the tabernacle and all its articles. And they shall be for the ministry, and they shall encamp all around the tabernacle.
Mas tu porás aos levitas no tabernáculo do testemunho, e sobre todos os seus utensílios, e sobre todas as coisas que lhe pertencem: eles levarão o tabernáculo e todos os seus utensílios, e eles servirão nele, e assentarão suas tendas ao redor do tabernáculo.
51 When you would depart, the Levites shall take down the tabernacle. When you are to make camp, they shall set it up. Any outsider who will approach it shall be killed.
E quando o tabernáculo partir, os levitas o desarmarão; e quando o tabernáculo parar, os levitas o armarão: e o estranho que se chegar, morrerá.
52 Now the sons of Israel shall make camp, each one by his companies and bands, as well as his army.
E os filhos de Israel assentarão suas tendas cada um em seu esquadrão, e cada um junto à sua bandeira, por suas tropas;
53 Moreover, the Levites shall fix their tents all around the tabernacle, lest there be an indignation over the multitude of the sons of Israel. And they shall stand watch as guardians over the tabernacle of the testimony.”
Mas os levitas assentarão as suas ao redor do tabernáculo do testemunho, e não haverá ira sobre a congregação dos filhos de Israel: e os levitas terão a guarda do tabernáculo do testemunho.
54 Therefore, the sons of Israel acted according to everything that the Lord had instructed Moses.
E fizeram os filhos de Israel conforme todas as coisas que mandou o SENHOR a Moisés; assim o fizeram.
