1 Now it happened in the day when Moses completed the tabernacle, and he set it up, and he anointed and sanctified it with all of its vessels, and similarly the altar and all of its vessels,

3 their gifts in the sight of the Lord: six covered wagons with twelve oxen. Two leaders offered one wagon, and each offered one ox, and they offered these in the sight of the tabernacle.
Ils présentèrent pour offrande, devant l’Éternel, six voitures-litières et douze bêtes à cornes, une voiture par deux phylarques, un taureau par phylarque, et ils les amenèrent devant le tabernacle.
4 Then the Lord said to Moses:
Et l’Éternel dit à Moïse ce qui suit:
5 “Receive these things from them, in order to serve in the ministry of the tabernacle, and you shall deliver them to the Levites, according to the order of their ministry.”
"Reçois ces présents de leur part, ils seront employés au service de la tente d’assignation: tu les remettras aux Lévites, à chacun selon sa tâche."
6 And so Moses, having received the wagons and the oxen, delivered them to the Levites.
Moïse reçut les voitures et les bêtes à cornes, et les remit aux Lévites.
7 Two wagons and four oxen he gave to the sons of Gershon, according to what they needed.
Il donna deux voitures et quatre taureaux aux enfants de Gerson, eu égard à leur tâche;
8 The other four wagons and eight oxen he gave to the sons of Merari, according to their offices and service, under the hand of Ithamar, the son of Aaron the priest.
et les quatre autres voitures et les huit autres taureaux, il les donna aux enfants de Merari, eu égard à leur tâche, dirigée par Ithamar, fils d’Aaron le pontife.
9 But to the sons of Kohath he gave no wagons or oxen, because they serve in the Sanctuary and they carry their burdens on their shoulders.
Quant aux enfants de Kehath, il ne leur en donna point: chargés du service des objets sacrés, ils devaient les porter sur l’épaule.
10 Therefore, the leaders offered, at the dedication of the altar on the day when it was anointed, their oblation before the altar.
Les phylarques firent des offrandes inaugurales pour l’autel, le jour où il avait été oint, et ils amenèrent leurs offrandes devant l’autel.
11 And the Lord said to Moses: “Let each of the leaders, on each of the days, offer their gifts for the dedication of the altar.”

12 On the first day, Nahshon, the son of Amminadab of the tribe of Judah, offered his oblation.

13 And in it were these: a silver dish weighing one hundred thirty shekels, a silver bowl having seventy shekels, according to the weight of the Sanctuary, and both were filled with fine wheat flour sprinkled with oil as a sacrifice,
Son offrande était: une écuelle d’argent, du poids de cent trente sicles; un bassin d’argent de soixante-dix sicles, au poids du sanctuaire, tous deux remplis de fleur de farine pétrie à l’huile, pour une oblation;
14 a little mortar made from ten shekels of gold, filled with incense,
une coupe de dix sicles, en or, pleine de parfum;
15 an ox from the herd, and a ram, and a one-year-old lamb as a holocaust,

16 and a he-goat for sin;

Ce fut là le présent dédicatoire de l’autel, offert, lors de son onction, par les phylarques d’Israël: douze écuelles d’argent, douze bassins d’argent, douze coupes d’or.
85 such that each dish had one hundred thirty shekels of silver, and each bowl had seventy shekels, that is, putting all of the vessels from silver together, two thousand four hundred shekels, by the weight of the Sanctuary,

88 and for victims of peace offerings: twenty-four oxen, sixty rams, sixty he-goats, and sixty one-year-old lambs. These were the oblations for the dedication of the altar, when it was anointed.
Somme du gros bétail pour le sacrifice rémunératoire: vingt-quatre taureaux; de plus, soixante béliers, soixante boucs, soixante agneaux âgés d’un an. Ainsi fut inauguré l’autel, après avoir été oint.
89 And when Moses entered into the tabernacle of the covenant, to consult the oracle, he heard the voice of One speaking to him from the propitiatory, which is over the ark of the testimony between the two cherubim, and there he also spoke to him.
Or, quand Moïse entrait dans la tente d’assignation pour que Dieu lui parlât, il entendait la voix s’adresser à lui de dessus le propitiatoire qui couvrait l’arche du statut, entre les deux chérubins, et c’est à elle qu’il parlait.
