Numbers 4
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
१फिर यहोवा ने मूसा और हारून से कहा,
2 “Take a total of the sons of Kohath from the midst of the Levites, by their houses and families,
२“लेवियों में से कहातियों की, उनके कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार, गिनती करो,
3 from thirty years and above, even to the fiftieth year, of all who enter so as to stand and minister in the tabernacle of the covenant.
३अर्थात् तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष तक की आयु वालों में, जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू में काम-काज करने को भर्ती हैं।
4 This is the service of the sons of Kohath: the tabernacle of the covenant and the Holy of holies.
४और मिलापवाले तम्बू में परमपवित्र वस्तुओं के विषय कहातियों का यह काम होगा,
5 Aaron and his sons shall enter, when the camp is going to move, and they shall take down the veil, which hangs before the entrance, and they shall wrap the ark of the testimony in it,
५अर्थात् जब जब छावनी का कूच हो तब-तब हारून और उसके पुत्र भीतर आकर, बीचवाले पर्दे को उतार कर उससे साक्षीपत्र के सन्दूक को ढाँप दें;
6 and they shall cover it further with a veil of violet skins, and they shall extend over it a cloth made entirely of hyacinth, and they shall draw in the bars.
६तब वे उस पर सुइसों की खालों का आवरण डालें, और उसके ऊपर सम्पूर्ण नीले रंग का कपड़ा डालें, और सन्दूक में डंडों को लगाएँ।
7 Likewise, they shall wrap the table of the presence in a cloth of hyacinth, and they shall place with it the censers and little mortars, the cups and bowls for pouring out libations; the bread shall be always on it.
७फिर भेंटवाली रोटी की मेज पर नीला कपड़ा बिछाकर उस पर परातों, धूपदानों, करछों, और उण्डेलने के कटोरों को रखें; और प्रतिदिन की रोटी भी उस पर हो;
8 And they shall extend over it a cloth of scarlet, which they shall further cover with a veil of violet skins, and they shall draw in the bars.
८तब वे उन पर लाल रंग का कपड़ा बिछाकर उसको सुइसों की खालों के आवरण से ढाँपें, और मेज के डंडों को लगा दें।
9 They shall take also a cloth of hyacinth, with which they shall cover the lampstand with the lamps, and its tongs, and the candle snuffers, and all the vessels of oil, which are necessary for the preparation of the lamps.
९फिर वे नीले रंग का कपड़ा लेकर दीपकों, गुलतराशों, और गुलदानों समेत उजियाला देनेवाले दीवट को, और उसके सब तेल के पात्रों को, जिनसे उसकी सेवा टहल होती है, ढाँपें;
10 And over all this they shall place a covering of violet skins, and they shall draw in the bars.
१०तब वे सारे सामान समेत दीवट को सुइसों की खालों के आवरण के भीतर रखकर डंडे पर धर दें।
11 And certainly they shall wrap the golden altar in a hyacinth garment, and they shall extend over it a covering of violet skins, and they shall draw in the bars.
११फिर वे सोने की वेदी पर एक नीला कपड़ा बिछाकर उसको सुइसों की खालों के आवरण से ढाँपें, और उसके डंडों को लगा दें;
12 All the vessels with which they minister in the Sanctuary they shall wrap in a cloth of hyacinth, and they shall extend over it a covering of violet skins, and they shall draw in the bars.
१२तब वे सेवा टहल के सारे सामान को लेकर, जिससे पवित्रस्थान में सेवा टहल होती है, नीले कपड़े के भीतर रखकर सुइसों की खालों के आवरण से ढाँपें, और डंडे पर धर दें।
13 Moreover, they shall cleanse the altar of ashes, and they shall wrap it in a purple garment,
१३फिर वे वेदी पर से सब राख उठाकर वेदी पर बैंगनी रंग का कपड़ा बिछाएँ;
14 and they shall place it with all the vessels which they use in its ministry, that is, receptacles for fire, small hooks as well as forks, larger hooks and shovels. They shall cover all the vessels of the altar together with a veil of violet skins, and they shall draw in the bars.
१४तब जिस सामान से वेदी पर की सेवा टहल होती है वह सब, अर्थात् उसके करछे, काँटे, फावड़ियाँ, और कटोरे आदि, वेदी का सारा सामान उस पर रखें; और उसके ऊपर सुइसों की खालों का आवरण बिछाकर वेदी में डंडों को लगाएँ।
15 And when Aaron and his sons have wrapped the Sanctuary and its vessels at the dismantling of the camp, then the sons of Kohath shall enter, so as to carry what has been wrapped. And they shall not touch the vessels of the Sanctuary, lest they die. These are the burdens of the sons of Kohath concerning the tabernacle of the covenant.
१५और जब हारून और उसके पुत्र छावनी के कूच के समय पवित्रस्थान और उसके सारे सामान को ढाँप चुकें, तब उसके बाद कहाती उसके उठाने के लिये आएँ, पर किसी पवित्र वस्तु को न छूएँ, कहीं ऐसा न हो कि मर जाएँ। कहातियों के उठाने के लिये मिलापवाले तम्बू की ये ही वस्तुएँ हैं।
16 Over them shall be Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, to whom belongs the care of the oil to prepare the lamps, and the incense compound, and the sacrifice, which is offered continually, and the oil of unction, and whatever pertains to the service of the tabernacle, and all the vessels that are in the Sanctuary.”
१६“जो वस्तुएँ हारून याजक के पुत्र एलीआजर को देख-रेख के लिये सौंपी जाएँ वे ये हैं, अर्थात् उजियाला देने के लिये तेल, और सुगन्धित धूप, और नित्य अन्नबलि, और अभिषेक का तेल, और सारे निवास, और उसमें की सब वस्तुएँ, और पवित्रस्थान और उसके सम्पूर्ण सामान।”
17 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
१७फिर यहोवा ने मूसा और हारून से कहा,
18 “Do not be willing to lose the people of Kohath from the midst of the Levites.
१८“कहातियों के कुलों के गोत्रों को लेवियों में से नाश न होने देना;
19 But do this for them, so that they may live, and so that they may not die by touching the Holies of holies. Aaron and his sons shall enter, and they shall assign the work of each one, and they shall determine what each one ought to carry.
१९उसके साथ ऐसा करो, कि जब वे परमपवित्र वस्तुओं के समीप आएँ, तब न मरें परन्तु जीवित रहें; इस कारण हारून और उसके पुत्र भीतर आकर एक-एक के लिये उसकी सेवकाई और उसका भार ठहरा दें,
20 Let no others, out of curiosity, see the things that are in the Sanctuary before they are wrapped, otherwise they shall die.”
२०और वे पवित्र वस्तुओं के देखने को क्षण भर के लिये भी भीतर आने न पाएँ, कहीं ऐसा न हो कि मर जाएँ।”
21 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
२१फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा,
22 “Now also take a total of the sons of Gershon, by their houses and families and kinships,
२२“गेर्शोनियों की भी गिनती उनके पितरों के घरानों और कुलों के अनुसार कर;
23 from thirty years and above, even to fifty years. Number all those who enter and minister in the tabernacle of the covenant.
२३तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष तक की आयु वाले, जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू में सेवा करने को भर्ती हों उन सभी को गिन ले।
24 This is the duty of the family of the Gershonites:
२४सेवा करने और भार उठाने में गेर्शोनियों के कुलवालों की यह सेवकाई हो;
25 to carry the curtains of the tabernacle, and the roof of the covenant, the other covering, and the veil over everything, and the violet tent, which hangs at the entrance of the tabernacle of the covenant,
२५अर्थात् वे निवास के पटों, और मिलापवाले तम्बू और उसके आवरण, और इसके ऊपरवाले सुइसों की खालों के आवरण, और मिलापवाले तम्बू के द्वार के पर्दे,
26 the curtains of the atrium, and the veil at the entrance, which is before tabernacle. Everything that pertains to the altar, the cords, and the vessels of the ministry
२६और निवास, और वेदी के चारों ओर के आँगन के पर्दों, और आँगन के द्वार के पर्दे, और उनकी डोरियों, और उनमें काम में आनेवाले सारे सामान, इन सभी को वे उठाया करें; और इन वस्तुओं से जितना काम होता है वह सब भी उनकी सेवकाई में आए।
27 the sons of Gershon shall carry, under the orders of Aaron and his sons. And so shall each one know to which burden he ought to surrender.
२७और गेर्शोनियों के वंश की सारी सेवकाई हारून और उसके पुत्रों के कहने से हुआ करे, अर्थात् जो कुछ उनको उठाना, और जो-जो सेवकाई उनको करनी हो, उनका सारा भार तुम ही उन्हें सौंपा करो।
28 This is the service of the family of the Gershonites, in the tabernacle of the covenant, and they shall be under the hand of Ithamar, the son of Aaron the priest.
२८मिलापवाले तम्बू में गेर्शोनियों के कुलों की यही सेवकाई ठहरे; और उन पर हारून याजक का पुत्र ईतामार अधिकार रखे।
29 Likewise, you shall take a census of the sons of Merari, by the families and houses of their fathers,
२९“फिर मरारियों को भी तू उनके कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार गिन लें;
30 from thirty years and above, even to fifty years, of all who enter to the office of their ministry and to the service of the covenant of the testimony.
३०तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष तक की आयु वाले, जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू की सेवा करने को भर्ती हों, उन सभी को गिन ले।
31 These are their burdens: They shall carry the panels of the tabernacle and its bars, the columns and their bases,
३१और मिलापवाले तम्बू में की जिन वस्तुओं के उठाने की सेवकाई उनको मिले वे ये हों, अर्थात् निवास के तख्ते, बेंड़े, खम्भे, और कुर्सियाँ,
32 also the columns surrounding the atrium, with their bases and tent pegs and cords. They shall accept by number all the vessels and articles, and so shall they carry them.
३२और चारों ओर आँगन के खम्भे, और इनकी कुर्सियाँ, खूँटे, डोरियाँ, और भाँति-भाँति के काम का सारा सामान ढोने के लिये उनको सौंपा जाए उसमें से एक-एक वस्तु का नाम लेकर तुम गिन लो।
33 This is the office of the family of the Merarites, and their ministry for the tabernacle of the covenant. And they shall be under the hand of Ithamar, the son of Aaron the priest.”
३३मरारियों के कुलों की सारी सेवकाई जो उन्हें मिलापवाले तम्बू के विषय करनी होगी वह यही है; वह हारून याजक के पुत्र ईतामार के अधिकार में रहे।”
34 Therefore, Moses and Aaron, and the leaders of the assembly, took a census of the sons of Kohath, by the kinships and houses of their fathers,
३४तब मूसा और हारून और मण्डली के प्रधानों ने कहातियों के वंश को, उनके कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार,
35 from thirty years and above, even to the fiftieth year, of all who enter to the ministry of the tabernacle of the covenant.
३५तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष की आयु के, जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू की सेवकाई करने को भर्ती हुए थे, उन सभी को गिन लिया;
36 And there were found two thousand seven hundred fifty.
३६और जो अपने-अपने कुल के अनुसार गिने गए, वे दो हजार साढ़े सात सौ थे।
37 This is the number of the people of Kohath, who enter the tabernacle of the covenant. These Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
३७कहातियों के कुलों में से जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू में सेवा करनेवाले गिने गए, वे इतने ही थे; जो आज्ञा यहोवा ने मूसा के द्वारा दी थी उसी के अनुसार मूसा और हारून ने इनको गिन लिया।
38 The sons of Gershon also were numbered by the kinships and houses of their fathers,
३८गेर्शोनियों में से जो अपने कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार गिने गए,
39 from thirty years and above, even to the fiftieth year, all who enter so as to minister in the tabernacle of the covenant.
३९अर्थात् तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष तक की आयु के, जो मिलापवाले तम्बू की सेवकाई करने को दल में भर्ती हुए थे,
40 And there were found two thousand six hundred thirty.
४०उनकी गिनती उनके कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार दो हजार छः सौ तीस थी।
41 This is the people of the Gershonites, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the Lord.
४१गेर्शोनियों के कुलों में से जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू में सेवा करनेवाले गिने गए, वे इतने ही थे; यहोवा की आज्ञा के अनुसार मूसा और हारून ने इनको गिन लिया।
42 The sons of Merari also were numbered by the kinships and houses of their fathers,
४२फिर मरारियों के कुलों में से जो अपने कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार गिने गए,
43 from thirty years and above, even to the fiftieth year, all who enter to fulfill the rituals of the tabernacle of the covenant.
४३अर्थात् तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष तक की आयु के, जो मिलापवाले तम्बू की सेवकाई करने को भर्ती हुए थे,
44 And there were found three thousand two hundred.
४४उनकी गिनती उनके कुलों के अनुसार तीन हजार दो सौ थी।
45 This is the number of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the command of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
४५मरारियों के कुलों में से जिनको मूसा और हारून ने, यहोवा की उस आज्ञा के अनुसार जो मूसा के द्वारा मिली थी, गिन लिया वे इतने ही थे।
46 All who were counted from the Levites, and whom, by name, Moses and Aaron, and the leaders of Israel, counted by the kinships and houses of their fathers,
४६लेवियों में से जिनको मूसा और हारून और इस्राएली प्रधानों ने उनके कुलों और पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार गिन लिया,
47 from thirty years and above, until the fiftieth year, entering for the ministry of the tabernacle and carrying the burdens,
४७अर्थात् तीस वर्ष से लेकर पचास वर्ष तक की आयु वाले, जितने मिलापवाले तम्बू की सेवकाई करने और बोझ उठाने का काम करने को हाजिर होनेवाले थे,
48 were together eight thousand five hundred eighty.
४८उन सभी की गिनती आठ हजार पाँच सौ अस्सी थी।
49 Moses took a census of them, according to the word of the Lord, each one according to their office and their burdens, just as the Lord had instructed him.
४९ये अपनी-अपनी सेवा और बोझ ढोने के लिए यहोवा के कहने पर गए। जो आज्ञा यहोवा ने मूसा को दी थी उसी के अनुसार वे गिने गए।
