Numbers 33
1 These are the lodging places of the sons of Israel, who departed from Egypt by their companies under the hand of Moses and Aaron,
മോശയുടെയും അഹരോന്റെയും നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്നും ഗണംഗണമായി പുറപ്പെട്ട ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ പ്രയാണത്തിലെ പാളയങ്ങൾ ഇവയാണ്:
2 which Moses wrote down according to the places of the encampments, which they changed upon the order of the Lord.
യഹോവയുടെ കൽപ്പനപ്രകാരം അവരുടെ പ്രയാണത്തിലെ പാളയങ്ങൾ മോശ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി. ഘട്ടംഘട്ടമായുള്ള അവരുടെ പ്രയാണം ഇതാണ്:
3 Thus the sons of Israel set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the day after the Passover, with an exalted hand, being seen by all the Egyptians.
ഒന്നാംമാസം പതിനഞ്ചാംതീയതി—പെസഹായുടെ പിറ്റേന്നാൾ—ഇസ്രായേല്യർ രമെസേസിൽനിന്ന് യാത്രപുറപ്പെട്ടു. ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരുടെ ദേവതകളുടെമേൽ യഹോവ ന്യായവിധി വരുത്തുകയാൽ അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ സംഹരിച്ച അവരുടെ സകല ആദ്യജാതന്മാരെയും സംസ്കരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്ന അവരുടെയെല്ലാം കണ്മുമ്പിലൂടെ ഇസ്രായേല്യർ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
4 And these were burying their firstborn, whom the Lord had struck down (for so, too, did he carry out retribution against their gods).
5 And they made camp at Soccoth.
ഇസ്രായേല്യർ രമെസേസിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് സൂക്കോത്തിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
6 And from Soccoth they went to Etham, which is at the furthest limits of the wilderness.
അവർ സൂക്കോത്തിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് മരുഭൂമിക്കരികെയുള്ള ഏഥാമിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
7 Departing from there, they arrived opposite Pi-hahiroth, which looks out toward Baal-zephon, and they were encamped before Migdol.
അവർ ഏഥാമിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ബാൽ-സെഫോനു കിഴക്കുഭാഗത്തുള്ള പീ-ഹഹീരോത്തിലേക്കു പിൻവാങ്ങി മിഗ്ദോലിനു സമീപം പാളയമടിച്ചു.
8 And setting out from Pi-hahiroth, they crossed through the middle of the Sea into the wilderness. And having walked for three days through the desert of Etham, they made camp at Marah.
അവർ പീ-ഹഹീരോത്തിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് കടലിലൂടെ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ കടന്നു. അവർ ഏഥാം മരുഭൂമിയിലൂടെ മൂന്നുദിവസം സഞ്ചരിച്ചു, തുടർന്ന് അവർ മാറായിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
9 And setting out from Marah, they arrived at Elim, where there were twelve fountains of water and seventy palm trees. And they set up camp there.
അവർ മാറായിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ഏലീമിലേക്കു പോയി. അവിടെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു നീരുറവകളും എഴുപത് ഈന്തപ്പനകളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവർ അവിടെ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
10 But departing from there also, they fixed their tents above the Red Sea. And setting out from the Red Sea,
അവർ ഏലീമിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ചെങ്കടലിനരികിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
11 they were encamped in the desert of Sin.
അവർ ചെങ്കടലിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് സീൻമരുഭൂമിയിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
12 Departing from there, they went to Dophkah.
അവർ സീൻമരുഭൂമിയിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ദൊഫ്കയിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
13 And setting out from Dophkah, they made camp at Alush.
അവർ ദൊഫ്കയിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ആലൂശിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
14 And departing from Alush, they fixed their tents at Rephidim, where the people lacked water to drink.
അവർ ആലൂശിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് രെഫീദീമിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു. അവിടെ ജനത്തിനു കുടിക്കാൻ വെള്ളമില്ലായിരുന്നു.
15 And setting out from Rephidim, they camped in the desert of Sinai.
അവർ രെഫീദീമിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
16 But departing also from the wilderness of the Sinai, they arrived at the Graves of Lust.
അവർ സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് കിബ്രോത്ത്-ഹത്താവയിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
17 And setting out from the Graves of Lust, they were encamped at Hazeroth.
അവർ കിബ്രോത്ത്-ഹത്താവയിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ഹസേരോത്തിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
18 And from Hazeroth, they went to Rithmah.
അവർ ഹസേരോത്തിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് രിത്മയിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
19 And setting out from Rithmah, they made camp at Rimmon-perez.
അവർ രിത്മയിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് രിമ്മോൻ-ഫേരെസിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
20 And departing from there, they arrived at Libnah.
അവർ രിമ്മോൻ-ഫേരെസിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ലിബ്നായിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
21 From Libnah, they made camp at Rissah.
അവർ ലിബ്നായിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് രിസ്സയിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
22 And departing from Rissah, they went to Kehelathah.
അവർ രിസ്സയിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് കെഹേലാഥയിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
23 Setting out from there, they were encamped at mount Shepher.
അവർ കെഹേലാഥയിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ശാഫേർ പർവതത്തിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
24 Departing from mount Shepher, they went to Haradah.
അവർ ശാഫേർ പർവതത്തിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ഹരാദയിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
25 Continuing on from there, they made camp at Makheloth.
അവർ ഹരാദയിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് മക്ഹേലോത്തിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
26 And setting out from Makheloth, they went to Tahath.
അവർ മക്ഹേലോത്തിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് തഹത്തിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
27 From Tahath, they made camp at Terah.
അവർ തഹത്തിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് താരഹിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
28 Departing from there, they pitched their tents at Mithkah.
അവർ താരഹിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് മിത്ക്കയിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
29 And from Mithkah, they were encamped at Hashmonah.
അവർ മിത്ക്കയിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ഹശ്മോനയിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
30 And setting out from Hashmonah, they went to Moseroth.
അവർ ഹശ്മോനയിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് മൊസേരോത്തിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
31 And from Moseroth, they made camp at Bene-jaakan.
അവർ മൊസേരോത്തിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ബെനേ-യാക്കാനിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
32 And setting out from Bene-jaakan, they went to mount Gidgad.
അവർ ബെനേ-യാക്കാനിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ഹോർ-ഹഗ്ഗിദ്ഗാദിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
33 Setting out from there, they were encamped at Jotbathah.
അവർ ഹോർ-ഹഗ്ഗിദ്ഗാദിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് യൊത്-ബാഥായിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
34 And from Jotbathah, they went to Abronah.
അവർ യൊത്-ബാഥായിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് അബ്രോനയിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
35 And departing from Abronah, they made camp at Eziongeber.
അവർ അബ്രോനയിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് എസ്യോൻ-ഗേബെറിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
36 Setting out from there, they went into the desert of Sin, which is Kadesh.
അവർ എസ്യോൻ-ഗേബെറിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് സീൻ മരുഭൂമിയിലെ കാദേശിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
37 And departing from Kadesh, they encamped at mount Hor, at the furthermost limits of the land of Edom.
അവർ കാദേശിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ഏദോമിന്റെ അതിർത്തിയിലുള്ള ഹോർ പർവതത്തിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
38 And Aaron the priest ascended onto mount Hor, by the order of the Lord. And there he died, in the fortieth year of the departure of the sons of Israel from Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month,
യഹോവയുടെ കൽപ്പനപ്രകാരം പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോൻ ഹോർ പർവതത്തിലേക്കു കയറിപ്പോയി. അവിടെ അദ്ദേഹം, ഇസ്രായേല്യർ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടശേഷം നാൽപ്പതാംവർഷത്തിന്റെ അഞ്ചാംമാസം ഒന്നാംതീയതി മരിച്ചു.
39 when he was one hundred twenty-three years old.
അഹരോൻ ഹോർ പർവതത്തിൽവെച്ചു മരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അദ്ദേഹത്തിനു നൂറ്റിഇരുപത്തിമൂന്ന് വയസ്സുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
40 And king Arad the Canaanite, who lived toward the south, heard that the sons of Israel had arrived in the land of Canaan.
കനാൻ ദേശത്തിനു തെക്കു താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന കനാന്യരാജാവായ അരാദ് ഇസ്രായേല്യർ വരുന്നു എന്നു കേട്ടു.
41 And setting out from mount Hor, they made camp at Zalmonah.
ഇസ്രായേല്യർ ഹോർ പർവതത്തിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് സല്മോനയിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
42 Departing from there, they went to Punon.
അവർ സല്മോനയിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് പൂനോനിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
43 And setting out from Punon, they were encamped at Oboth.
അവർ പൂനോനിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ഓബോത്തിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
44 And from Oboth, they went to Iye-abarim, which is at the borders of the Moabites.
അവർ ഓബോത്തിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് മോവാബിന്റെ അതിർത്തിയിലുള്ള ഇയ്യെ-അബാരീമിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
45 And setting out from Iye-abarim, they fixed their tents at Dibon-gad.
അവർ ഇയ്യീമിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ദീബോൻ-ഗാദിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
46 Departing from there, they made camp at Almon-diblathaim.
അവർ ദീബോൻ-ഗാദിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് അല്മോൻ-ദിബ്ലാഥയീമിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
47 And departing from Almon-diblathaim, they went to the mountains of Abarim, opposite Nebo.
അവർ അല്മോൻ-ദിബ്ലാഥയീമിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് നെബോവിനുസമീപം അബാരീം പർവതങ്ങളിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
48 And setting out from the mountains of Abarim, they crossed over to the plains of Moab, above the Jordan, opposite Jericho.
അവർ അബാരീം പർവതങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടു യെരീഹോവിനെതിരേ യോർദാൻതീരത്ത് മോവാബ് സമതലങ്ങളിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
49 And they made camp there, from Beth-jeshimoth all the way to Abel-shittim, in the level places of the Moabites,
അവിടെ മോവാബ് സമതലത്തിൽ യോർദാന്റെ തീരത്ത് ബേത്-യെശീമോത്ത്മുതൽ ആബേൽ-ശിത്തീംവരെ അവർ പാളയമടിച്ചു.
50 where the Lord said to Moses:
യെരീഹോവിനെതിരേ യോർദാൻതീരത്ത് മോവാബുസമതലത്തിൽവെച്ച് യഹോവ മോശയോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു:
51 “Instruct the sons of Israel, and say to them: When you will have crossed over the Jordan, entering into the land of Canaan,
“ഇസ്രായേല്യരോടു സംസാരിക്കണം. അവരോട് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുക: ‘നിങ്ങൾ യോർദാൻ കടന്ന് കനാനിലേക്കു പോകുമ്പോൾ,
52 destroy all the inhabitants of that land. Break their monuments, and shatter their statues, and lay waste to every exalted thing,
നിങ്ങളുടെമുമ്പിലുള്ള ദേശത്തിലെ സകലനിവാസികളെയും ഓടിച്ചുകളയണം. അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെയും പ്രതിമകളെയും നശിപ്പിച്ച് അവർ യാഗമർപ്പിച്ചുവരുന്ന ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ മുഴുവൻ ഇടിച്ചുകളയണം.
53 cleansing the land and living in it. For I have given it you as a possession,
ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കി അതിൽ പാർക്കുക. കാരണം നിങ്ങൾക്കു കൈവശമാക്കാനായി ദേശം ഞാൻ തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
54 which you shall divide among you by lot. To the greater number you shall give more, and to the lesser number, less. To each one, just as the lot shall fall, so shall the inheritance be distributed. The possession shall be divided by the tribes and families.
നിങ്ങൾ കുടുംബങ്ങളായി നറുക്കിട്ട് ആ ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കണം. വലിയ ഗോത്രത്തിനു വലിയ അവകാശവും ചെറിയഗോത്രത്തിനു ചെറിയ അവകാശവും നൽകണം. നറുക്കുവീഴുന്നതിലൂടെ ലഭിക്കുന്ന ദേശം ഏതുതന്നെയായാലും അത് അവർക്കുള്ളതായിരിക്കും. നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതൃഗോത്രമനുസരിച്ച് നിങ്ങൾ ദേശം അവകാശമാക്കണം.
55 But if you are not willing to put to death the inhabitants of the land, those who remain shall be to you like spikes in your eyes and lances in your sides, and they shall be adversaries to you in the land of your habitation.
“‘എന്നാൽ ദേശത്തിലെ നിവാസികളെ നിങ്ങൾ ഓടിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ, ദേശത്തു തങ്ങാൻ നിങ്ങൾ അനുവദിക്കുന്നവർ നിങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണുകൾക്കു ചൂണ്ടയും പാർശ്വങ്ങൾക്കു മുള്ളും ആയിരിക്കും. നിങ്ങൾ ജീവിക്കുന്ന ദേശത്ത് അവർ നിങ്ങളെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കും.
56 And whatever I had decided to do to them, I will do to you.”
അതുമാത്രമല്ല, ഞാൻ അവരോടു ചെയ്യാൻ വിചാരിച്ചതു നിങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്യും.’”
