Numbers 31
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
At sinalita ng Panginoon kay Moises, na sinasabi,
2 “First, avenge the sons of Israel from the Midianites, and then you shall be gathered to your people.”
Ipanghiganti mo ang mga anak ni Israel sa mga Madianita; pagkatapos nito'y malalakip ka sa iyong bayan.
3 And immediately Moses said: “Arm the men among you for a battle, so that they may be able to fulfill the retribution of the Lord on the Midianites.
At sinalita ni Moises sa bayan, na sinasabi, Magsipagsakbat kayong mga lalake na humanda sa pakikibaka, upang magsiyaon sila laban sa Madian, upang isagawa ang panghihiganti ng Panginoon sa Madian.
4 Let one thousand men be chosen from each tribe of Israel, who shall be sent to war.”
Sa bawa't lipi ay isang libo, sa lahat ng mga lipi ng Israel, ang susuguin ninyo sa pakikibaka.
5 And they gave one thousand from each tribe, that is, twelve thousand foot soldiers for battle.
Sa gayo'y sinugo sa libolibong Israelita, ang isang libo sa bawa't lipi, na labing dalawang libo ngang nasasakbatan sa pakikibaka.
6 And Moses sent them with Phinehas, the son of Eleazar the priest; also, he delivered to him the holy vessels, and the trumpets to sound.
At sinugo sila ni Moises, sa pakikibaka, isang libo sa bawa't lipi, sila at si Phinees na anak ni Eleazar na saserdote, sa pakikibaka, na may mga kasangkapan ng santuario, at may mga pakakak na panghudyat sa kaniyang kamay.
7 And when they had fought against the Midianites and had prevailed, they killed all the men.
At binaka nila ang Madian, gaya ng iniutos ng Panginoon kay Moises; at kanilang pinatay ang bawa't lalake.
8 And they put to death by the sword their kings: Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the five leaders of the nation, and also Balaam the son of Beor.
At pinatay nila ang mga hari sa Madian na kasama ng mga napatay: si Evi at si Recem, at si Zur, at si Hur, at si Reba, limang hari sa Madian: si Balaam man na anak ni Beor ay kanilang pinatay ng tabak.
9 And they seized their women and little ones, and all their cattle, and all their goods; whatever they were able to have, they despoiled.
At binihag ng mga anak ng Israel ang mga babae sa Madian at ang kanilang mga bata; at ang lahat nilang mga hayop at ang lahat nilang mga kawan, at ang lahat nilang pag-aari ay kanilang sinamsam.
10 Both their cities and their villages, as well as their fortresses, they burned.
At ang lahat nilang mga bayan sa mga dakong kanilang tinatahanan at ang lahat nilang mga tolda ay kanilang sinunog sa apoy.
11 And they carried away prey from everything that they had seized, both of men and of beasts.
At kanilang dinala ang lahat ng kanilang nakuha, at ang lahat ng kanilang nasamsam, maging sa tao at maging sa hayop.
12 And they led these to Moses and Eleazar the priest, and to all the multitude of the sons of Israel. But the remainder of the articles they carried to the camp on the plains of Moab, next to the Jordan, opposite Jericho.
At kanilang dinala ang mga bihag, ang nasamsam at ang nahuli, kay Moises, at kay Eleazar na saserdote, at sa kapisanan ng mga anak ni Israel, na nasa kampamento sa mga kapatagan ng Moab, na nasa tabi ng Jordan sa Jerico.
13 Then Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the assembly went out to meet them beyond the camp.
At si Moises at si Eleazar na saserdote, at ang lahat ng mga prinsipe sa kapisanan, ay nagsilabas na sinalubong sila sa labas ng kampamento.
14 And Moses, being angry with the leaders of the army, and the tribunes, and the centurions, who had arrived from the battle,
At si Moises ay nag-init sa mga pinuno ng hukbo, sa mga kapitan ng libolibo at sa mga kapitan ng daandaan, na nagsipanggaling sa pakikipagbaka.
15 said: “Why have you spared the females?
At sinabi ni Moises sa kanila, Iniligtas ba ninyo na buhay ang lahat ng mga babae?
16 Are not these the ones who deceived the sons of Israel at the suggestion of Balaam, and who caused you betray the Lord by the sin of Peor, because of which the people also were struck down?
Narito, sila'y naging sanhi, sa payo ni Balaam, upang ang mga anak ni Israel ay sumalangsang laban sa Panginoon sa bagay ng Peor, at kaya't nagkasalot sa kapisanan ng Panginoon.
17 Therefore, put to death all of them: whatever is of the male sex, even among the little ones, and cut the throats of those women who have known men by sexual relations.
Ngayon nga ay patayin ninyo ang lahat ng mga batang lalake at patayin ninyo ang bawa't babae na nasipingan ng lalake.
18 But the young girls, and all female virgins, reserve for yourselves.
Nguni't ang lahat ng batang babae na hindi pa nasisipingan ng lalake ay buhayin ninyo upang mapasa inyo.
19 And remain beyond the camp for seven days. Whoever has killed a man, or who has touched one that was killed, shall be purified on the third day and on the seventh day.
At matira kayo sa labas ng kampamento na pitong araw: sinoman sa inyo na nakamatay ng sinomang tao, at sinoman sa inyo na nakahipo ng anomang pinatay, ay maglilinis kayo sa ikatlong araw at sa ikapitong araw, kayo at ang inyong mga bihag.
20 And all of the spoils, whether it is a garment, or a vessel, or another useful thing, made from the pelts or hair of goats, or from wood, shall be expiated.”
At tungkol sa bawa't kasuutan, at sa lahat ng yari sa balat, at sa lahat ng yari sa balahibo ng kambing, at sa lahat ng bagay na yari sa kahoy, ay pakalinisin ninyo.
21 Likewise, Eleazar the priest spoke in this manner to the men of the army who had fought: “This is the precept of the law, which the Lord has commanded Moses:
At sinabi ni Eleazar na saserdote sa mga lalake ng hukbo na nagsiparoon sa pakikipagbaka, Ito ang palatuntunan ng kautusan na iniutos ng Panginoon kay Moises:
22 Gold, and silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin,
Gayon ma'y ang ginto at ang pilak, ang tanso, ang bakal, ang lata, at ang tingga,
23 and all that may be able to pass through fire, shall be purified by fire. But whatever is not able to sustain fire shall be sanctified with the waters of expiation.
Bawa't bagay na hindi naaano sa apoy, ay inyong pararaanin sa apoy, at magiging malinis; gayon ma'y inyong lilinisin ng tubig para sa karumihan: at ang lahat na hindi nakatatagal sa apoy, ay inyong pararaanin sa tubig.
24 And you shall wash your garments on the seventh day, and, after having been purified, you shall enter the camp.”
At inyong lalabhan ang inyong mga damit sa ikapitong araw, at kayo'y magiging malinis, at pagkatapos nito'y makapapasok kayo sa kampamento.
25 And the Lord also said to Moses:
At sinalita ng Panginoon kay Moises, na sinasabi,
26 “Take the sum of those things which were captured, from man even to beast, you and Eleazar the priest, and the leaders of the common people.
Bilangin mo ang samsam na nakuha sa tao at gayon din sa hayop, ninyo at ni Eleazar na saserdote, at ng mga pangulo ng mga sangbahayan ng mga magulang ng kapisanan:
27 And you shall divide the prey equally, among those who went out to war and fought, and among the remainder of the multitude.
At hatiin mo ang samsam ng dalawa; sa mga lalaking mangbabaka na nagsilabas sa pakikipagbaka, at sa buong kapisanan:
28 And you shall separate a portion for the Lord from the portion of those who fought and were in the battle: one soul out of five hundred, as much from humans, as from oxen and donkeys and sheep.
Bigyan mo ng buwis ang Panginoon sa mga lalaking mangdidigma na nagsilabas sa pakikipagbaka: isang tao sa bawa't limang daan, sa mga tao at gayon din sa mga hayop, at sa mga asno at sa mga kawan:
29 And you shall give it to Eleazar the priest, because these are the first-fruits of the Lord.
Sa kalahating nauukol sa kanila, ay kukunin mo at ibibigay mo kay Eleazar na saserdote na pinakahandog na itinaas sa Panginoon.
30 Likewise, from the half of the portion belonging to the sons of Israel, you shall receive the fiftieth head of humans, and of oxen, and donkeys, and sheep, and of all living things, and you shall give these to the Levites who stand watch over the care of the tabernacle of the Lord.”
At sa kalahati na nauukol sa mga anak ni Israel, ay kunin mo ang isang nakuha sa bawa't limang pu, sa mga tao, sa mga bata, sa mga asno, at sa mga kawan, sa lahat ng hayop at ibigay mo sa mga Levita, na namamahala sa tabernakulo ng Panginoon.
31 And Moses and Eleazar did just as the Lord had instructed.
At ginawa ni Moises at ni Eleazar na saserdote, gaya ng iniutos ng Panginoon kay Moises.
32 Now the prey which the army had seized was six hundred seventy-five thousand sheep,
Ang nabihag nga bukod pa sa nasamsam ng mga taong nakipagbaka, ay anim na raan at pitong pu't limang libong tupa,
33 seventy-two thousand oxen,
At pitong pu't dalawang libong baka,
34 sixty-one thousand donkeys,
Anim na pu't isang libong asno,
35 and thirty-two thousand human lives, of the female sex, who had not known men.
At tatlong pu't dalawang libong tao sa lahat, sa mga babae na hindi pa nasisipingan ng lalake.
36 And one half of the portion was given to those who had been in the battle: three hundred thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep.
At ang kalahati, na siyang bahagi niyaong mga nagsilabas sa pakikipagbaka ay umaabot sa bilang na tatlong daan at tatlong pu't pitong libo at limang daang tupa:
37 From these, for the portion of the Lord, there were accounted: six hundred seventy-five sheep;
At ang buwis na tupa sa Panginoon, ay anim na raan at pitong pu't lima.
38 and from the thirty-six thousand oxen, seventy-two oxen;
At ang mga baka ay tatlong pu't anim na libo; na ang buwis sa Panginoon ay pitong pu't dalawa.
39 from the thirty thousand five hundred donkeys, sixty-one donkeys.
At ang mga asno ay tatlong pung libo at limang daan; na ang buwis sa Panginoon ay anim na pu't isa.
40 From the sixteen thousand human souls, there fell to the portion of the Lord thirty-two souls.
At ang mga asno ay labing anim na libo; na ang buwis sa Panginoon ay tatlong pu't dalawang tao.
41 And Moses delivered the number of the first-fruits of the Lord to Eleazar the priest, just as had been commanded of him,
At ibinigay ni Moises ang buwis, na ukol sa handog na itinaas sa Panginoon, kay Eleazar na saserdote, gaya ng iniutos ng Panginoon kay Moises.
42 from the one half portion belonging to the sons of Israel, which he had separated from the portion of those who had been in the battle.
At ang kalahati ay sa mga anak ni Israel, na inihiwalay ni Moises sa mga taong nakipagbaka
43 Yet truly, from the one half portion which fell to the remainder of the multitude, that is, from the three hundred thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep,
(Siya ngang kalahati na nauukol sa kapisanan ay tatlong daan at tatlong pu't pitong libo at limang daang tupa,
44 and from the thirty-six thousand oxen,
At tatlong pu't anim na libong baka,
45 and from the thirty thousand five hundred donkeys,
At tatlong pung libo't limang daang asno,
46 and from the sixteen thousand persons,
At labing anim na libong tao),
47 Moses took the fiftieth head, and gave it to the Levites who stand watch at the tabernacle of the Lord, just as the Lord had instructed.
At sa kalahati nga na nauukol sa mga anak ni Israel, ay kinuha ni Moises ang isa sa bawa't limang pu, sa tao at gayon din sa hayop, at ibinigay sa mga Levita, na namamahala sa tabernakulo ng Panginoon; gaya ng iniutos ng Panginoon kay Moises.
48 And when the leaders of the army, and the tribunes, and the centurions had approached Moses, they said:
At ang mga pinuno na namamahala sa libolibo ng hukbo, ang mga kapitan ng libolibo, at ang mga kapitan ng daandaan ay nangagsilapit kay Moises:
49 “We, your servants, have taken a census of the number of the fighting men, whom we had under our hand, and indeed not one was lacking.
At sinabi nila kay Moises, Binilang ng iyong mga lingkod ang mga lalaking mangdidigma na nasa aming kapangyarihan, at walang kulang kahit isa man sa amin.
50 For this reason, we offer as gifts to the Lord whatever gold each one was able to find amid the spoils, in anklets and arm bands, rings and bracelets, and little chains, so that you may intercede for us to the Lord.”
At aming dinala na pinakaalay sa Panginoon, ang nakuha ng bawa't lalake, na mga hiyas na ginto, mga tanikala sa bukongbukong, at mga pulsera, mga singsing na pinaka tanda, mga hikaw, at mga kuwintas sa leeg upang itubos sa aming mga kaluluwa sa harap ng Panginoon.
51 And Moses and Eleazar the priest received all the gold in its various kinds,
At kinuha ni Moises at ni Eleazar na saserdote ang ginto nila, lahat ng hiyas na dalisay.
52 weighing sixteen thousand seven hundred fifty shekels, from the tribunes and the centurions.
At ang buong gintong handog na itinaas, na kanilang inihandog sa Panginoon, ng mga kapitan ng libolibo, at ng mga kapitan ng daandaan, ay labing anim na libo at pitong daan at limang pung siklo.
53 For whatever each one had taken away in the spoils was his own.
(Sapagka't ang mga lalake na nakipagbaka ay naguwi ng samsam, na bawa't isa ay may sariling dala.)
54 And having been accepted, they took it into the tabernacle of the testimony, as a memorial of the sons of Israel before the Lord.
At kinuha ni Moises at ni Eleazar na saserdote ang ginto ng mga kapitan ng libolibo at ng daandaan, at isinilid sa tabernakulo ng kapisanan, pinakaalaala sa mga anak ni Israel sa harap ng Panginoon.
