Nehemiah 7
1 Then, after the wall was built, and I set up the double doors, and I enrolled the gatekeepers, and the singing men, and the Levites,
१जब शहरपनाह बन गई, और मैंने उसके फाटक खड़े किए, और द्वारपाल, और गवैये, और लेवीय लोग ठहराये गए,
2 I instructed Hanani, my brother, and Hananiah, the leader of the house of Jerusalem, (for he seemed to be a truthful man, fearing God more than the others, )
२तब मैंने अपने भाई हनानी और राजगढ़ के हाकिम हनन्याह को यरूशलेम का अधिकारी ठहराया, क्योंकि यह सच्चा पुरुष और बहुतेरों से अधिक परमेश्वर का भय माननेवाला था।
3 and I said to them: “Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun is hot.” And while they were standing there, the gates were closed and barred. And I stationed guards from the inhabitants of Jerusalem, each one in his turn, and each one opposite his own house.
३और मैंने उनसे कहा, “जब तक धूप कड़ी न हो, तब तक यरूशलेम के फाटक न खोले जाएँ और जब पहरुए पहरा देते रहें, तब ही फाटक बन्द किए जाएँ और बेड़े लगाए जाएँ। फिर यरूशलेम के निवासियों में से तू रखवाले ठहरा जो अपना-अपना पहरा अपने-अपने घर के सामने दिया करें।”
4 Now the city was great and very wide, and the people in its midst were few, and the houses were not yet built.
४नगर तो लम्बा चौड़ा था, परन्तु उसमें लोग थोड़े थे, और घर नहीं बने थे।
5 But God had given to my heart, and I gathered the nobles, and the magistrates, and the common people, so that I might enroll them. And I found a book of the census of those who first went up, and in it there was found written:
५तब मेरे परमेश्वर ने मेरे मन में यह उपजाया कि रईसों, हाकिमों और प्रजा के लोगों को इसलिए इकट्ठे करूँ, कि वे अपनी-अपनी वंशावली के अनुसार गिने जाएँ। और मुझे पहले-पहल यरूशलेम को आए हुओं का वंशावली पत्र मिला, और उसमें मैंने यह लिखा हुआ पाया।
6 These are the sons of the province, who ascended from the captivity of the transmigration, those whom Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, had taken away, and who returned into Jerusalem and Judea, each one to his own city.
६जिनको बाबेल का राजा, नबूकदनेस्सर बन्दी बना करके ले गया था, उनमें से प्रान्त के जो लोग बँधुआई से छूटकर, यरूशलेम और यहूदा के अपने-अपने नगर को आए।
7 They arrived with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
७वे जरुब्बाबेल, येशुअ, नहेम्याह, अजर्याह, राम्याह, नहमानी, मोर्दकै, बिलशान, मिस्पेरेत, बिगवै, नहूम और बानाह के संग आए। इस्राएली प्रजा के लोगों की गिनती यह है:
8 The sons of Parosh, two thousand one hundred seventy-two.
८परोश की सन्तान दो हजार एक सौ बहत्तर,
9 The sons of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy-two.
९शपत्याह की सन्तान तीन सौ बहत्तर,
10 The sons of Arah, six hundred fifty-two.
१०आरह की सन्तान छः सौ बावन।
11 The sons of Pahath-moab of the sons of Jeshua and of Joab, two thousand eight hundred eighteen.
११पहत्मोआब की सन्तान याने येशुअ और योआब की सन्तान, दो हजार आठ सौ अठारह।
12 The sons of Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four.
१२एलाम की सन्तान बारह सौ चौवन,
13 The sons of Zattu, eight hundred forty-five.
१३जत्तू की सन्तान आठ सौ पैंतालीस।
14 The sons of Zaccai, seven hundred sixty.
१४जक्कई की सन्तान सात सौ साठ।
15 The sons of Binnui, six hundred forty-eight.
१५बिन्नूई की सन्तान छः सौ अड़तालीस।
16 The sons of Bebai, six hundred twenty-eight.
१६बेबै की सन्तान छः सौ अट्ठाईस।
17 The sons of Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty-two.
१७अजगाद की सन्तान दो हजार तीन सौ बाईस।
18 The sons of Adonikam, six hundred sixty-seven.
१८अदोनीकाम की सन्तान छः सौ सड़सठ।
19 The sons of Bigvai, two thousand sixty-seven.
१९बिगवै की सन्तान दो हजार सड़सठ।
20 The sons of Adin, six hundred fifty-five.
२०आदीन की सन्तान छः सौ पचपन।
21 The sons of Ater, sons of Hezekiah, ninety-eight.
२१हिजकिय्याह की सन्तान आतेर के वंश में से अट्ठानवे।
22 The sons of Hashum, three hundred twenty-eight.
२२हाशूम, की सन्तान तीन सौ अट्ठाईस।
23 The sons of Bezai, three hundred twenty-four.
२३बेसै की सन्तान तीन सौ चौबीस।
24 The sons of Hariph, one hundred twelve.
२४हारीफ की सन्तान एक सौ बारह।
25 The sons of Gibeon, ninety-five.
२५गिबोन के लोग पंचानबे।
26 The sons of Bethlehem and Netophah, one hundred eighty-eight.
२६बैतलहम और नतोपा के मनुष्य एक सौ अट्ठासी।
27 The men of Anathoth, one hundred twenty-eight.
२७अनातोत के मनुष्य एक सौ अट्ठाईस।
28 The men of Beth-azmaveth, forty-two.
२८बेतजमावत के मनुष्य बयालीस।
29 The men of Kiriath-jearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred forty-three.
२९किर्यत्यारीम, कपीरा, और बेरोत के मनुष्य सात सौ तैंतालीस।
30 The men of Ramah and Geba, six hundred twenty-one.
३०रामाह और गेबा के मनुष्य छः सौ इक्कीस।
31 The men of Michmas, one hundred twenty-two.
३१मिकमाश के मनुष्य एक सौ बाईस।
32 The men of Bethel and Ai, one hundred twenty-three.
३२बेतेल और आई के मनुष्य एक सौ तेईस।
33 The men of the other Nebo, fifty-two.
३३दूसरे नबो के मनुष्य बावन।
34 The men of the other Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four.
३४दूसरे एलाम की सन्तान बारह सौ चौवन।
35 The sons of Harim, three hundred twenty.
३५हारीम की सन्तान तीन सौ बीस।
36 The sons of Jericho, three hundred forty-five.
३६यरीहो के लोग तीन सौ पैंतालीस।
37 The sons of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred twenty-one.
३७लोद हादीद और ओनो के लोग सात सौ इक्कीस।
38 The sons of Senaah, three thousand nine hundred thirty.
३८सना के लोग तीन हजार नौ सौ तीस।
39 The priests: the sons of Jedaiah in the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy-three.
३९फिर याजक अर्थात् येशुअ के घराने में से यदायाह की सन्तान नौ सौ तिहत्तर।
40 The sons of Immer, one thousand fifty-two.
४०इम्मेर की सन्तान एक हजार बावन।
41 The sons of Pashhur, one thousand two hundred forty-seven.
४१पशहूर की सन्तान बारह सौ सैंतालीस।
42 The sons of Harim, one thousand and seventeen.
४२हारीम की सन्तान एक हजार सत्रह।
43 The Levites: the sons of Jeshua and Kadmiel, the sons
४३फिर लेवीय ये थेः होदवा के वंश में से कदमीएल की सन्तान येशुअ की सन्तान चौहत्तर।
44 of Hodaviah, seventy-four. The singing men:
४४फिर गवैये ये थेः आसाप की सन्तान एक सौ अड़तालीस।
45 the sons of Asaph, one hundred forty-eight.
४५फिर द्वारपाल ये थेः शल्लूम की सन्तान, आतेर की सन्तान, तल्मोन की सन्तान, अक्कूब की सन्तान, हतीता की सन्तान, और शोबै की सन्तान, जो सब मिलकर एक सौ अड़तीस हुए।
46 The gatekeepers: the sons of Shallum, the sons of Ater, the sons of Talmon, the sons of Akkub, the sons of Hatita, the sons of Shobai, one hundred thirty-eight.
४६फिर नतीन अर्थात् सीहा की सन्तान, हसूपा की सन्तान, तब्बाओत की सन्तान,
47 The temple servants: the sons of Ziha, the sons of Hasupha, the sons of Tabbaoth,
४७केरोस की सन्तान, सीआ की सन्तान, पादोन की सन्तान,
48 the sons of Keros, the sons of Siaha, the sons of Padon, the sons of Lebanah, the sons of Hagabah, the sons of Shalmai,
४८लबाना की सन्तान, हगाबा की सन्तान, शल्मै की सन्तान।
49 the sons of Hanan, the sons of Giddel, the sons of Gahar,
४९हानान की सन्तान, गिद्देल की सन्तान, गहर की सन्तान,
50 the sons of Reaiah, the sons of Rezin, the sons of Nekoda,
५०रायाह की सन्तान, रसीन की सन्तान, नकोदा की सन्तान,
51 the sons of Gazzam, the sons of Uzza, the sons of Paseah,
५१गज्जाम की सन्तान, उज्जा की सन्तान, पासेह की सन्तान,
52 the sons of Besai, the sons of Meunim, the sons of Nephusim,
५२बेसै की सन्तान, मूनीम की सन्तान, नपूशस की सन्तान,
53 the sons of Bakbuk, the sons of Hakupha, the sons of Harhur,
५३बकबूक की सन्तान, हकूपा की सन्तान, हर्हूर की सन्तान,
54 the sons of Bazluth, the sons of Mehida, the sons of Harsha,
५४बसलीत की सन्तान, महीदा की सन्तान, हर्शा की सन्तान,
55 the sons of Barkos, the sons of Sisera, the sons of Temah,
५५बर्कोस की सन्तान, सीसरा की सन्तान, तेमह की सन्तान,
56 the sons of Neziah, the sons of Hatipha.
५६नसीह की सन्तान, और हतीपा की सन्तान।
57 The sons of the servants of Solomon: the sons of Sotai, the sons of Sophereth, the sons of Perida,
५७फिर सुलैमान के दासों की सन्तान: सोतै की सन्तान, सोपेरेत की सन्तान, परीदा की सन्तान,
58 the sons of Jaalah, the sons of Darkon, the sons of Giddel,
५८याला की सन्तान, दर्कोन की सन्तान, गिद्देल की सन्तान,
59 the sons of Shephatiah, the sons of Hattil, the sons of Pochereth, who was born from Hazzebaim, the son of Amon.
५९शपत्याह की सन्तान, हत्तील की सन्तान, पोकरेत-सबायीम की सन्तान, और आमोन की सन्तान।
60 All the temple servants and the sons of the servants of Solomon, three hundred ninety-two.
६०नतीन और सुलैमान के दासों की सन्तान मिलाकर तीन सौ बानवे थे।
61 Now these are the ones who ascended from Telmelah, Telharsha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer; and they were not able to indicate the house of their fathers and their offspring, whether they were of Israel:
६१और ये वे हैं, जो तेल्मेलाह, तेलहर्शा, करूब, अद्दोन, और इम्मेर से यरूशलेम को गए, परन्तु अपने-अपने पितरों के घराने और वंशावली न बता सके, कि इस्राएल के हैं, या नहीं
62 the sons of Delaiah, the sons of Tobiah, the sons of Nekoda, six hundred forty-two;
६२दलायाह की सन्तान, तोबियाह की सन्तान, और नकोदा की सन्तान, जो सब मिलाकर छः सौ बयालीस थे।
63 and among the priests: the sons of Hobaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, the sons of Barzillai, who took a wife from the daughters of Barzillai, a Gileadite, and he was called by their name.
६३और याजकों में से हबायाह की सन्तान, हक्कोस की सन्तान, और बर्जिल्लै की सन्तान, जिसने गिलादी बर्जिल्लै की बेटियों में से एक से विवाह कर लिया, और उन्हीं का नाम रख लिया था।
64 These sought their writing in the census, and they did not find it, and so they were cast out of the priesthood.
६४इन्होंने अपना-अपना वंशावली पत्र और अन्य वंशावली पत्रों में ढूँढ़ा, परन्तु न पाया, इसलिए वे अशुद्ध ठहरकर याजकपद से निकाले गए।
65 And the cupbearer said to them that they should not eat from the Holy of Holies, until a priest would stand up who was learned and skillful.
६५और अधिपति ने उनसे कहा, कि जब तक ऊरीम और तुम्मीम धारण करनेवाला कोई याजक न उठे, तब तक तुम कोई परमपवित्र वस्तु खाने न पाओगे।
66 The entire multitude, which was like one man, was forty-two thousand three hundred sixty,
६६पूरी मण्डली के लोग मिलाकर बयालीस हजार तीन सौ साठ ठहरे।
67 aside from their men and women servants, who were seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven, and among them were singing men and singing women, two hundred forty-five.
६७इनको छोड़ उनके सात हजार तीन सौ सैंतीस दास-दासियाँ, और दो सौ पैंतालीस गानेवाले और गानेवालियाँ थीं।
68 Their horses were seven hundred thirty-six; their mules were two hundred forty-five.
६८उनके घोड़े सात सौ छत्तीस, खच्चर दो सौ पैंतालीस,
69 Their camels were four hundred thirty-five; their donkeys were six thousand seven hundred twenty.
६९ऊँट चार सौ पैंतीस और गदहे छः हजार सात सौ बीस थे।
70 Now several of the leaders of the families gave to the work. The cupbearer gave to the treasury one thousand drachmas of gold, fifty bowls, and five hundred thirty priestly garments.
७०और पितरों के घरानों के कई एक मुख्य पुरुषों ने काम के लिये दान दिया। अधिपति ने तो चन्दे में हजार दर्कमोन सोना, पचास कटोरे और पाँच सौ तीस याजकों के अंगरखे दिए।
71 And some of the leaders of the families gave to the treasury of the work twenty thousand drachmas of gold, and two thousand two hundred minas of silver.
७१और पितरों के घरानों के कई मुख्य-मुख्य पुरुषों ने उस काम के चन्दे में बीस हजार दर्कमोन सोना और दो हजार दो सौ माने चाँदी दी।
72 And what the remainder of the people gave was twenty thousand drachmas of gold, and two thousand minas of silver, and sixty-seven priestly garments.
७२और शेष प्रजा ने जो दिया, वह बीस हजार दर्कमोन सोना, दो हजार माने चाँदी और सड़सठ याजकों के अंगरखे हुए।
73 Now the priests, and the Levites, and the gatekeepers, and the singing men, and the rest of the common people, and the temple servants, and all of Israel dwelt in their own cities.
७३इस प्रकार याजक, लेवीय, द्वारपाल, गवैये, प्रजा के कुछ लोग और नतीन और सब इस्राएली अपने-अपने नगर में बस गए।
