Nehemiah 10
1 And the signatories were: Nehemiah, the cupbearer, the son of Hacaliah, and Zedekiah,

9 And the Levites were: Jeshua, the son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel,

28 And the rest of the people were the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, and the singers, the temple servants, and all who had separated themselves, from the peoples of the lands, to the law of God, with their wives, their sons, and their daughters.
“പുരോഹിതന്മാർ, ലേവ്യർ, വാതിൽക്കാവൽക്കാർ, സംഗീതജ്ഞർ, ദൈവാലയദാസന്മാർ എന്നിവരും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണംനിമിത്തം ദേശത്തെ ജനതയിൽനിന്നു തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ അകറ്റിയവരുമായ ശേഷംജനങ്ങളും അവരുടെ ഭാര്യമാർ, പുത്രന്മാർ, പുത്രിമാർ എന്നിങ്ങനെ, തിരിച്ചറിവുമുള്ള മറ്റെല്ലാവരും
29 All who were able to understand, pledged on behalf of their brothers, with their nobles, and they came forward to promise and to swear that they would walk in the law of God, which he had given to the hand of Moses, the servant of God, that they would do and keep all the commandments of the Lord our God, and his judgments and his ceremonies,
തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരരായ ഇസ്രായേല്യ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടൊപ്പം നിന്നുകൊണ്ട്, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദാസനായ മോശയിൽക്കൂടി നൽകപ്പെട്ട ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം അനുസരിക്കാമെന്നും നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യഹോവയുടെ കൽപ്പനകളും അനുശാസനങ്ങളും ഉത്തരവുകളും പാലിക്കാമെന്നും ശപഥവും സത്യവും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
30 and that we would not give our daughters to the people of the land, and that we would not accept their daughters for our sons,
“ഞങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രിമാരെ യെഹൂദേതരരായ ജനതകൾക്കു നൽകുകയോ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കായി അവരുടെ പുത്രിമാരെ സ്വീകരിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യില്ല എന്നും ശപഥംചെയ്യുന്നു.
31 also that, if the people of the land carry in goods for sale or any useful things, so that they might sell them on the day of the Sabbath, that we would not buy them on the Sabbath, nor on a sanctified day, and that we would release the seventh year and the collection of debt from every hand.
“ശബ്ബത്തുദിവസം ദേശത്തിലെ ജനം ചരക്കുകളോ ധാന്യമോ വിൽക്കാനായി കൊണ്ടുവന്നാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ ശബ്ബത്തിലോ വിശുദ്ധദിവസങ്ങളിലോ അവരോടു വാങ്ങുകയില്ല. എല്ലാ ഏഴാംവർഷവും ഞങ്ങൾ ഭൂമിയിൽ പണിയെടുക്കുന്നത് ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുകയും ഞങ്ങളോടു കടപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന കടങ്ങളെല്ലാം വേണ്ടെന്നുവയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
32 And we established precepts over ourselves, so that we would give one third part of a shekel each year for the work of the house of our God,
“നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്കായി കാഴ്ചയപ്പത്തിനും നിരന്തര ഭോജനയാഗങ്ങൾക്കും ഹോമയാഗങ്ങൾക്കും; ശബ്ബത്തുക്കളിലെ യാഗങ്ങൾക്കും അമാവാസികൾക്കും നിർദിഷ്ട ഉത്സവങ്ങൾക്കും വിശുദ്ധ അർപ്പണങ്ങൾക്കും ഇസ്രായേലിനുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തമായി അർപ്പിക്കുന്ന പാപശുദ്ധീകരണയാഗങ്ങൾക്കും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തിലെ എല്ലാ ചുമതലകൾക്കുംവേണ്ടി പ്രതിവർഷം ശേക്കേലിൽ മൂന്നിലൊന്നു നൽകണം എന്ന കൽപ്പന പാലിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള ചുമതല ഞങ്ങൾ സ്വയം ഏൽക്കുന്നു.
33 for the bread of the presence, and for the continual sacrifice, and for a continual holocaust on the Sabbaths, on the new moons, on the solemnities, and for the holy things, and for the sin offering, so that atonement would be made for Israel, and for every use within the house of our God.
34 Then we cast lots concerning the oblation of the wood among the priests, and the Levites, and the people, so that it would be carried into the house of our God, by the households of our fathers, at set times, from the times of one year to another, so that they might burn upon the altar of the Lord our God, just as it was written in the law of Moses,
“ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നപ്രകാരം നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠത്തിൽ കത്തിക്കാനുള്ള വിറക്, വർഷത്തിൽ നിശ്ചിതസമയത്ത് കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതിനുള്ള കുടുംബങ്ങളെ നിയമിക്കാൻ ഞങ്ങൾ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും ജനങ്ങളും ചേർന്നു നറുക്കിടുന്നു.
35 and so that we might bring in the first-fruits of our land, and the first-fruits of all the produce from every tree, from year to year, in the house of our Lord,
“യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു ഞങ്ങളുടെ വിളവിന്റെയും ഫലവൃക്ഷത്തിന്റെയും ആദ്യഫലം എല്ലാവർഷവും കൊണ്ടുവരാനുള്ള ചുമതലയും ഞങ്ങൾ ഏൽക്കുന്നു.
36 and the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, just as it was written in the law, and the firstborn of our oxen and our sheep, so that they might be offered in the house of our God, to the priests who minister in the house of our God,
“ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരിലും മൃഗങ്ങളിലും കന്നുകാലിക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളിലും ആട്ടിൻപറ്റങ്ങളിലുംനിന്നുള്ള കടിഞ്ഞൂലുകളെ നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കും അവിടെ ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ അടുത്തേക്കും ഞങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുവരും.
37 and so that we might bring in the first-fruits of our foods, and of our libations, and the fruits of every tree, also of the vintage and of the oil, to the priests, to the storehouse of our God, with the tithes of our land for the Levites. The Levites also shall receive tithes from our works out of all the cities.
“തന്നെയുമല്ല, നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തിലെ ഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ഞങ്ങളുടെ ആദ്യഫലമായ പൊടിമാവ്, മറ്റു ഭോജനയാഗങ്ങൾ, എല്ലാ വൃക്ഷത്തിന്റെയും ഫലങ്ങൾ, പുതുവീഞ്ഞ്, ഒലിവെണ്ണ എന്നിവ പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ പക്കൽ എത്തിക്കുന്നതാണ്. ഞങ്ങളുടെ എല്ലാ വിളവിന്റെയും ദശാംശം ഞങ്ങൾ ലേവ്യരെ ഏൽപ്പിക്കും; കാരണം കൃഷിയുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ദശാംശം ശേഖരിക്കുന്നതു ലേവ്യരാണല്ലോ.
38 Now the priest, the son of Aaron, shall be with the Levites in the tithes of the Levites, and the Levites shall offer a tenth part of their tithes in the house of our God, to the storeroom in the house of the treasury.
ദശാംശം വാങ്ങുന്ന സമയത്ത്, അഹരോന്യനായ ഒരു പുരോഹിതൻ ലേവ്യരോടൊപ്പം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം; ദശാംശത്തിന്റെ പത്തിലൊന്നു ലേവ്യർ നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തിലെ ഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അറകളിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരണം.
39 For the sons of Israel and the sons of Levi shall carry to the storehouse the first-fruits of the grain, of the wine, and of the oil. And the sanctified vessels shall be there, and the priests, and the singing men, and the gatekeepers, and the ministers. And we shall not forsake the house of our God.
ലേവ്യർ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള ഇസ്രായേല്യർ ധാന്യം, പുതുവീഞ്ഞ്, ഒലിവെണ്ണ എന്നിവയിൽനിന്നുള്ള സംഭാവന വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളും ശുശ്രൂഷകരായ പുരോഹിതർ, വാതിൽക്കാവൽക്കാർ, സംഗീതജ്ഞർ എന്നിവരുടെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളും സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്ന അറകളിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരണം. “ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തെ ഞങ്ങൾ അവഗണിക്കുകയില്ല.”
