< Micah 1 >

1 The word of the Lord that came to Micah the Moreshethite, in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw about Samaria and Jerusalem.
Daytoy ti sao ni Yahweh nga immay kenni Mikias a taga-Moreset kadagiti al-aldaw da Jotam, Ahaz ken Hezekias, nga ar-ari ti Juda, ti sao a naimatanganna maipapan iti Samaria ken Jerusalem.
2 All peoples, listen. And may the earth and its fullness pay attention. And may the Lord God be a witness to you, the Lord from his holy temple.
Dumngegkayo, dakayo amin a tattao. Dumngegka, O daga, ken ti isu-amin nga adda kenka. Agsaksi koma ti Apo a ni Yahweh a maibusor kenka, ti Apo manipud iti nasantoan a templona.
3 For behold, the Lord will go forth from his place. And he will descend, and he will trample over the high places of the earth.
Kitaenyo, rummuar ni Yahweh iti ayanna; bumaba isuna ket rumekenna dagiti pagdaydayawan dagiti pagano iti rabaw ti daga.
4 And the mountains will be consumed under him, and the valleys will be torn apart, like wax before the face of fire, and like waters that rush swiftly downward.
Malunag dagiti bantay iti babaenna; marunaw dagiti turod a kasla allid iti sangoanan ti apuy, kasla danum a naibuyat iti derraas.
5 All this is for the wickedness of Jacob and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the wickedness of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what is the loftiness of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem?
Gapu amin dagitoy iti panagsukir ni Jacob, ken gapu kadagiti basol ti balay ti Israel. Ania ti makagapu iti panagsukir ni Jacob? Saan kadi a ti Samaria? Ania ti makagapu nga adda dagiti lugar a pagdaydayawan idiay Juda? Saan kadi a ti Jerusalem?
6 And I will place Samaria like a pile of stones in the field, when a vineyard is planted. And I will pull down its stones into the valley, and I will reveal her foundations.
“Pagbalinekto ti Samaria a gabsuon dagiti nadadael iti tay-ak, a kas iti lugar a pagmulaan laeng iti ubas. Paitulidkonto dagiti bato ti pasdekna idiay tanap; pagparangekto dagiti pundasionna.
7 And all her graven images will be cut to pieces, and all her rewards will be burned with fire, and I will place all her idols in perdition. For they have been gathered together from the pay of a kept woman, and even to the pay of a kept woman, they will return.
Maburakto dagiti amin a kinitikitan a ladawanna, ken mapuoranto dagiti amin a sagsagut kenkuana. Dadaelekto dagiti amin a didiosenna. Agsipud ta inurnongna dagitoy a sagut iti panagbalangkantisna, ket maisublidanto a kas tangdan ti maysa a balangkantis.”
8 I will lament and wail about this. I will go out despoiled and naked. I will make a howl like the dragons, and a mourning like the ostriches.
Daytoyto ti makagapu iti panagdung-aw ken panagladingitko; magnaak a sakasaka ken lamolamo. Agtaguobak a kas iti atap nga aso ken agdung-awak a kas iti kullaaw.
9 For her wound has been in despair. For it has come even to Judah. It has touched the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
Ngamin, saanen a maagasan dagiti sugatna, ta nakagtengdan idiay Juda. Nakadanondan iti ruangan dagiti tattaok, iti Jerusalem.
10 Do not be willing to announce it in Gath; may you not lament with tears. In the house of Dust, besprinkle yourselves with dust.
Saanyo nga ibagbaga idiay Gat ti maipapan iti daytoy; saankayo nga agsangit. Agtulidtulidak iti katapukan idiay Bet-Afra.
11 And cross over to your dwelling place, Beauty, bewildered by disgrace. She did not depart, who dwells at the place of departure. The House nearby, which remained firm by herself, will receive mourning from you.
Lumabaskayo, agnanaed iti Sapir, a silalamolamo ken nakababain. Saan a rummuar dagiti agnanaed iti Zaanan. Agdungdung-aw ti Bet-Ezel ta awanen ti salaknibda.
12 For she has been weakened in goodness, who dwells in bitterness. For disaster has descended from the Lord to the gate of Jerusalem.
Ta agur-uray a sigagagar dagiti agnanaed iti Marot iti naimbag a damag, gapu ta indissuoren ni Yahweh ti didigra kadagiti ruangan ti Jerusalem.
13 A tumult of four-horse chariots has stupefied the inhabitants of Lachish. The beginning has been sin for the daughter of Zion, because in you have been found the evil deeds of Israel.
Dakayo nga agnanaed iti Lakis, ipakoyo dagiti karuahe iti bunggoy dagiti kabalioyo. O Lakis, sika ti nangruggian iti basol ti anak a babai ti Sion, ta nasarakan kenka dagiti panagsalungasing ti Israel.
14 Because of this, she will send emissaries to the inheritance of Gath: the house of Lying in order to deceive the kings of Israel.
Isu a mangtedkanto iti sagut a pammakada iti Moreset-Gat; upayento ti ili ti Akzib dagiti ari ti Israel.
15 Nevertheless, I will lead an heir to you, who dwell in Mareshah: the glory of Israel will reach all the way to Adullam.
Dakayo nga agnanaed iti Maresa, iyegkonto kadakayo ti mangtagikua kadakayo. Mapanto aglemmeng dagiti mangidadaulo ti Israel iti kueba ti Adullam.
16 Become bald and shaved for your delicate sons. Increase your baldness like the eagle. For they have been carried into captivity from you.
Juda, kuskosam ta ulom ken pukisam ta buokmo para kadagiti annakmo a pakaay-ayoam. Agpakalboka a kas iti agila, ta maipanawto a kas balud dagiti annakmo.
