Matthew 21
1 And when they had drawn near to Jerusalem, and had arrived at Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,
೧ಯೇಸು ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿ ಆಲಿವ್ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯ ಮರಗಳ ಗುಡ್ಡದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೇತ್ಫಗೆಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ
2 saying to them: “Go into the town that is opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Release them, and lead them to me.
೨ಆತನು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕರೆದು, “ನಿಮ್ಮೆದುರಿಗಿರುವ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿರಿ; ಹೋದಕೂಡಲೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರುವ ಮರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣುವಿರಿ; ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿ ನನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನಿರಿ.
3 And if anyone will have said anything to you, say that the Lord has need of them. And he will promptly dismiss them.”
೩ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಹೇಳಿದರೆ, ‘ಇವು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾಗಿವೆ’ ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಹೇಳಿರಿ; ಅವನು ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕೊಡುವನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
4 Now all this was done in order to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet, saying,
೪ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತು ನೆರವೇರುವಂತೆ ಇದಾಯಿತು; ಅದೇನೆಂದರೆ,
5 “Tell the daughter of Zion: Behold, your king comes to you meekly, sitting on a donkey and on a colt, the son of one accustomed to the yoke.”
೫“ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪುತ್ರಿಯೇ, ನೋಡು, ನಿನ್ನ ಅರಸನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನು ಸಾತ್ವಿಕ ಗುಣವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನು, ಹೌದು ಕತ್ತೆಮರಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು” ಹೇಳಿರಿ ಎಂಬುದು.
6 Then the disciples, going out, did just as Jesus instructed them.
೬ಆಗ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಸು ತಮಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
7 And they brought the donkey and the colt, and they laid their garments on them, and they helped him sit upon them.
೭ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮರಿಯನ್ನೂ ತಂದು ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಲು ಯೇಸು ಹತ್ತಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡನು.
8 Then a very numerous crowd spread their garments on the way. But others cut branches from the trees and scattered them on the way.
೮ಆಗ ಜನರ ಗುಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಮಂದಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಸಿದರು; ಬೇರೆ ಕೆಲವರು ಮರಗಳಿಂದ ರೆಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡಿದರು.
9 And the crowds that preceded him, and those that followed, cried out, saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!”
೯ಆತನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮುಂದೆ ಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಜನರು, “ದಾವೀದನ ಕುಮಾರನಿಗೆ ಹೊಸನ್ನ! ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವವನು ಧನ್ಯನು! ಮೇಲಣ ಲೋಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸನ್ನ!” ಎಂದು ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸಿದರು.
10 And when he had entered into Jerusalem, the entire city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?”
೧೦ಯೇಸು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಲು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗದ್ದಲವಾಗಿ, “ಈತನು ಯಾರು?” ಅಂದರು.
11 But the people were saying, “This is Jesus, the Prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”
೧೧ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ಗುಂಪಿನ ಜನರು, “ಈತನು ಗಲಿಲಾಯದ ನಜರೇತಿನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೇಸು” ಅಂದರು.
12 And Jesus entered into the temple of God, and he cast out all who were selling and buying in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money changers and the chairs of the vendors of doves.
೧೨ಬಳಿಕ ಯೇಸು ದೇವಾಲಯದೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರುವ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹಣ ವಿನಿಮಯದಾರರ ಮೇಜುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪಾರಿವಾಳ ಮಾರುವವರ ಕಾಲ್ಮಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೆಡವಿಹಾಕಿದನು.
13 And he said to them: “It is written: ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer. But you have made it into a den of robbers.’”
೧೩ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “‘ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾಲಯವಾಗಿದೆ’ ಎಂದು ಬರೆದಿದೆ; ಆದರೆನೀವು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಳ್ಳರ ಗವಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
14 And the blind and the lame drew near to him in the temple; and he healed them.
೧೪ಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕುರುಡರೂ ಕುಂಟರೂ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಲು ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿದನು.
15 Then the leaders of the priests and the scribes became indignant, seeing the miracles that he wrought, and the children crying out in the temple, saying, “Hosanna to the Son of David!”
೧೫ಆದರೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕರೂ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳೂ ಆತನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಕರವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಹಾಗು “ದಾವೀದನ ಕುಮಾರನಿಗೆ ಹೊಸನ್ನ” ಎಂದು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಡುಗರು ಕೂಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡರು.
16 And they said to him, “Do you hear what these ones are saying?” But Jesus said to them, “Certainly. Have you never read: For out of the mouth of babes and infants, you have perfected praise?”
೧೬ಆತನಿಗೆ, “ಇವರು ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವೆಯಾ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಯೇಸು, “ಹೌದು, ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಆದರೆ ‘ಸಣ್ಣ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬಾಯಿಂದಲೂ ಮೊಲೆಕೂಸುಗಳ ಬಾಯಿಂದಲೂ ನೀನು ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಿಗೆ ತಂದಿರುವಿ’ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಎಂದಾದರೂ ಓದಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
17 And leaving them behind, he went out, beyond the city, into Bethania, and he lodged here.
೧೭ಬಳಿಕ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬೇಥಾನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಮಲಗಿದನು.
18 Then, as he was returning to the city in the morning, he was hungry.
೧೮ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಯೇಸು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಹಸಿದಿದ್ದನು.
19 And seeing a certain fig tree beside the way, he approached it. And he found nothing on it, except only leaves. And he said to it, “May fruit never spring forth from you, for all time.” And immediately the fig tree was dried up. (aiōn g165)
೧೯ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಅಂಜೂರದ ಮರವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅದರ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೀ ಎಲೆಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ, “ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಫಲವು ಫಲಿಸದೆ ಹೋಗಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆ ಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಆ ಅಂಜೂರದ ಮರವು ಒಣಗಿಹೋಯಿತು. (aiōn g165)
20 And seeing this, the disciples wondered, saying, “How did it dry up so quickly?”
೨೦ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಬೆರಗಾಗಿ, “ಈ ಅಂಜೂರದ ಮರವು ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲೇ ಒಣಗಿಹೋಯಿತಲ್ಲಾ” ಎಂದು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಗೊಂಡರು.
21 And Jesus responded to them by saying: “Amen I say to you, if you have faith and do not hesitate, not only shall you do this, concerning the fig tree, but even if you would say to this mountain, ‘Take and cast yourself into the sea,’ it shall be done.
೨೧ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು, “ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ನೀವು ಸಂಶಯಪಡದೆ ನಂಬಿದರೆ ಈ ಅಂಜೂರದ ಮರಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದಂಥದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಮಾಡುವಿರಿ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಈ ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ, ‘ನೀನು ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಅದೂ ಆಗುವುದು.
22 And all things whatsoever that you shall ask for in prayer: believing, you shall receive.”
೨೨ನೀವು ನಂಬಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೇನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರೋ ಅದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊಂದುವಿರಿ” ಅಂದನು.
23 And when he had arrived at the temple, as he was teaching, the leaders of the priests and the elders of the people approached him, saying: “By what authority do you do these things? And who has given this authority to you?”
೨೩ತರುವಾಯ ಯೇಸು ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕರೂ ಜನರ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, “ನೀನು ಯಾವ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆ? ಈ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟವರು ಯಾರು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
24 In response, Jesus said to them: “I also will question you with one word: if you tell me this, I also will tell you by what authority I do these things.
೨೪ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ನಾನೂ ಸಹ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರೆ ಆಗ ನಾನು ಯಾವ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
25 The baptism of John, where was it from? Was it from heaven, or from men?” But they thought within themselves, saying:
೨೫ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವು ಯೋಹಾನನಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂದಿತು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದಲೋ ಅಥವಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಂದಲೋ?” ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು, “‘ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಬಂದಿತೆಂದು’ ನಾವು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ, ‘ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನೀವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ನಮಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಯಾನು;
26 “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say to us, ‘Then why did you not believe him?’ But if we say, ‘From men,’ we have the crowd to fear, for they all hold John to be a prophet.”
೨೬‘ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಂದ ಬಂದಿತೆಂದು’ ಹೇಳಿದರೆ, ನಮಗೆ ಜನರ ಭಯವಿದೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೆಂದು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರಲ್ಲಾ” ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
27 And so, they answered Jesus by saying, “We do not know.” So he also said to them: “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.
೨೭ಅನಂತರ ಅವರು, “ನಾವರಿಯೆವು” ಎಂದು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಯಾವ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೋ ಅದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸಹ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
28 But how does it seem to you? A certain man had two sons. And approaching the first, he said: ‘Son, go out today to work in my vineyard.’
೨೮ಆದರೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ತೋರುತ್ತದೆ? ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿದ್ದರು. ಅವನು ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, ‘ಮಗನೇ, ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಈ ದಿನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು
29 And responding, he said, ‘I am not willing.’ But afterwards, being moved by repentance, he went.
೨೯ಅವನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, ‘ನಾನು ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು’ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾಗ್ಯೂ ತರುವಾಯ ತನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಬದಲಿಸಿ, ತೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.
30 And approaching the other, he spoke similarly. And answering, he said, ‘I am going, lord.’ And he did not go.
೩೦ಆಮೇಲೆ ಎರಡನೆಯವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅದೇ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು, ‘ನಾನು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನಪ್ಪಾ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಅವನು ಹೋಗಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
31 Which of the two did the will of the father?” They said to him, “The first.” Jesus said to them: “Amen I say to you, that tax collectors and prostitutes shall precede you, into the kingdom of God.
೩೧ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದೆಯ ಚಿತ್ತದಂತೆ ನಡೆದವನು ಯಾರು? ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು, ‘ಮೊಲನೆಯವನೇ’” ಅಂದರು. ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, ಸುಂಕದವರೂ, ವೇಶ್ಯೆಯರೂ ನಿಮಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸೇರುವರು ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
32 For John came to you in the way of justice, and you did not believe him. But the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. Yet even after seeing this, you did not repent, so as to believe him.
೩೨ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ, ಯೋಹಾನನು ನೀತಿಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸುವವನಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ನೀವು ಅವನನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಸುಂಕದವರು, ವೇಶ್ಯೆಯರು ಅವನನ್ನು ನಂಬಿದರು; ನೀವು ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪ ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅವನನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ.
33 Listen to another parable. There was a man, the father of a family, who planted a vineyard, and surrounded it with a hedge, and dug a press in it, and built a tower. And he loaned it out to farmers, and he set out to sojourn abroad.
೩೩“ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಸಾಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನೆಯ ಯಜಮಾನನಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನುಒಂದು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾತೋಟವನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಬೇಲಿಹಾಕಿಸಿ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಗಾಣವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಸಿ, ಕಾವಲು ಗೋಪುರವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟಗಾರರಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನುಗುತ್ತಿಗೆಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಅವನು ಬೇರೊಂದು ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.
34 Then, when the time of the fruits drew near, he sent his servants to the farmers, so that they might receive its fruits.
೩೪ಫಲಕಾಲ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾದಾಗ ತನಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕಾದ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆ ತೋಟಗಾರರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಆಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲು,
35 And the farmers apprehended his servants; they struck one, and killed another, and stoned yet another.
೩೫ತೋಟಗಾರರು ಅವನ ಆಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದರು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ಹಾಕಿದರು, ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದು ಕೊಂದರು.
36 Again, he sent other servants, more than before; and they treated them similarly.
೩೬ಆ ಯಜಮಾನನು ಪುನಃ ಮೊದಲಿನವರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿ ಆಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು, ಅವರು ಅವರಿಗೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
37 Then, at the very end, he sent his son to them, saying: ‘They will revere my son.’
೩೭ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗಾದರೂ ಮರ್ಯಾದೆ ತೋರಿಸಾರು’ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
38 But the farmers, seeing the son, said among themselves: ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and then we will have his inheritance.’
೩೮ಆದರೆ ಆ ತೋಟಗಾರರು ಅವನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ‘ಇವನೇ ಉತ್ತರಾಧಿಕಾರಿ, ಬನ್ನಿ ಇವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕೋಣ, ಇವನ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ನಾವೇ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ’ ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು
39 And apprehending him, they cast him outside the vineyard, and they killed him.
೩೯ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾತೋಟದಿಂದ ಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಬ್ಬಿ ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದರು.
40 Therefore, when the lord of the vineyard arrives, what will he do to those farmers?”
೪೦ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾತೋಟದ ಧಣಿಯು ಬಂದಾಗ ಆ ತೋಟಗಾರರಿಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡುವನು?” ಅಂದನು.
41 They said to him, “He will bring those evil men to an evil end, and he will loan out his vineyard to other farmers, who shall repay to him the fruit in its time.”
೪೧ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ, “ಆ ಕೆಡುಕರನ್ನು ಕ್ರೂರವಾಗಿ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ತಕ್ಕಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತನಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವಂಥ ಬೇರೆ ತೋಟಗಾರರಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆಗೆ ಕೊಡುವನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
42 Jesus said to them: “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone that the builders have rejected has become the cornerstone. By the Lord has this been done, and it is wonderful in our eyes?’
೪೨ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “‘ಮನೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವವರು ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಕಲ್ಲೇ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಮೂಲೆಗಲ್ಲಾಯಿತು; ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಿಂದಲೇ ಆಯಿತು; ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅದು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ತೋರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನೀವು ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದಾದರೂ ಓದಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?’
43 Therefore, I say to you, that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and it shall be given to a people who shall produce its fruits.
೪೩ಆದುದರಿಂದ ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅದರ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಲಾಗುವುದು.
44 And whoever will have fallen on this stone shall be broken, yet truly, on whomever it shall fall, it will crush him.”
೪೪ಈ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವವನು ತುಂಡು ತುಂಡಾಗುವನು; ಇದು ಯಾರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುತ್ತದೋ ಅದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪುಡಿಪುಡಿ ಮಾಡುವುದು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
45 And when the leaders of the priests, and the Pharisees had heard his parables, they knew that he was speaking about them.
೪೫ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕರೂ ಫರಿಸಾಯರೂ ಆತನ ಸಾಮ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು. ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಲು ಸಂದರ್ಭ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು;
46 And though they sought to take hold of him, they feared the crowds, because they held him to be a prophet.
೪೬ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದರೂ ಜನರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
