< Matthew 12 >
1 At that time, Jesus went out through the ripe grain on the Sabbath. And his disciples, being hungry, began to separate the grain and to eat.
Iti dayta a tiempo, napan ni Jesus kadagiti kataltalonan iti Aldaw a Panaginana. Mabisin dagiti adalanna ket rinugianda ti nangruros kadagiti dawa ti trigo ket kinnanda dagitoy.
2 Then the Pharisees, seeing this, said to him, “Behold, your disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbaths.”
Ngem idi nakita dagiti Pariseo dayta, kinunada kenni Jesus, “Kitaem, inaramid dagiti adalam ti saan a nainkalintegan nga aramiden iti Aldaw a Panaginana.”
3 But he said to them: “Have you not read what David did, when he was hungry, and those who were with him:
Ngem kinuna ni Jesus kadakuada, “Saanyo kadi a pulos a nabasa ti inaramid ni David, idi mabisin isuna, ken dagiti lallaki a kakaduana?
4 how he entered the house of God and ate the bread of the Presence, which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests?
No kasano a simrek isuna iti balay ti Dios ket nangan iti tinapay a naidaton, a saan a nainkalintegan a kanenna, ken saan a nainkalintegan para kadagiti kakaduana, ngem nainkalintegan laeng para kadagiti papadi?
5 Or have you not read in the law, that on the Sabbaths the priests in the temple violate the Sabbath, and they are without guilt?
Ken saanyo kadi a nabasa ti linteg, nga iti Aldaw a Panaginana, dagiti papadi idiay templo ket tinulawanda ti Aldaw a Panaginana ngem saanda a nakabasolan daytoy?
6 But I say to you, that something greater than the temple is here.
Ngem ibagak kadakayo nga adda ditoy ti nangnangruna ngem ti templo.
7 And if you knew what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ you would never have condemned the innocent.
No naammoanyon ti kayat a sawen daytoy, 'Asi ti tarigagayak a saan ket a daton,' saanyo koman nga inukom ti awan basolna.
8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
Ta ti Anak ti Tao isu ti Apo ti Aldaw a Panaginana.”
9 And when he had passed from there, he went into their synagogues.
Kalpasanna, pimmanaw ni Jesus manipud idiay ket simrek iti sinagogada.
10 And behold, there was a man who had a withered hand, and they questioned him, so that they might accuse him, saying, “Is it lawful to cure on the Sabbaths?”
Pagammoan, adda lalaki a kimbet ti maysa nga imana. Nagsaludsod dagiti Pariseo kenni Jesus, a kunada, “Nainkalintegan kadi a mangpaimbag iti Aldaw a Panaginana?” tapno mabalinda nga ibaga nga isuna ket nakabasol.
11 But he said to them: “Who is there among you, having even one sheep, if it will have fallen into a pit on the Sabbath, would not take hold of it and lift it up?
Kinuna ni Jesus kadakuada, “Adda kadi kadakayo ti a no addaan iti maymaysa a karnero, ket mairana a matnag iti nauneg nga abut iti Aldaw a Panaginana, saanna kadi a gammatan daytoy ket aonenna?
12 How much better is a man than a sheep? And so, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbaths.”
Adayo ngarud a napatpateg ti tao ngem iti karnero! Isu a nainkalintegan ti panangaramid iti naimbag iti Aldaw a Panaginana.”
13 Then he said to the man, “Extend your hand.” And he extended it, and it was restored to health, just like the other one.
Kalpasanna, kinuna ni Jesus iti lalaki, “Iyunnatmo ti imam.” Inyunnatna ti imana, ket napaimbag daytoy, kas kasalun-at ti maysa nga imana.
14 Then the Pharisees, departing, took council against him, as to how they might destroy him.
Ngem pimmanaw dagiti Pariseo ket nagpanggepda iti maibusor kenkuana. Nangbirokda iti wagas no kasano a maipapatayda isuna.
15 But Jesus, knowing this, withdrew from there. And many followed him, and he cured them all.
Idi naammoan ni Jesus daytoy, immadayo isuna manipud sadiay. Adu a tattao ti nangsurot kenkuana ket pinaimbagna ida amin.
16 And he instructed them, lest they make him known.
Binilinna ida nga awan pangibagbagaanda maipapan kenkuana,
17 Then what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah was fulfilled, saying:
tapno matungpal ti naibaga idi babaen kenni profeta Isaias, a kunana,
18 “Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom my soul is well pleased. I will place my Spirit over him, and he shall announce judgment to the nations.
“Adtoy ti pinilik nga adipenko; ti ay-ayatek, a pakaay-aywan unay ti kararuak. Paumayekto ti Espirituk kenkuana, ket ipakaammonanto ti pannakaukom kadagiti Hentil.
19 He shall not contend, nor cry out, neither shall anyone hear his voice in the streets.
Saanto isuna a makisinnupiat wenno agpukkaw; wenno adda makangngeg iti timekna kadagiti kalsada.
20 He shall not crush the bruised reed, and he shall not extinguish the smoking wick, until he sends forth judgment unto victory.
Sannanto a dadaelen ti aniaman a naparpar a runo; saannanto nga iddepen ti aniaman nga umas-asuk a pabilo, agingga a mapagballigina ti panangukom.”
21 And the Gentiles shall hope in his name.”
Ket maaddaanto dagiti Hentil iti kinatalged iti naganna.”
22 Then one who had a demon, who was blind and mute, was brought to him. And he cured him, so that he spoke and saw.
Ket adda nangyegda kenni Jesus iti maysa a tao a bulsek, umel ken linuganan ti demonio. Pinaimbagna isuna, ket nakapagsaon ken nakakitan ti umel a lalaki.
23 And all the crowds were stupefied, and they said, “Could this be the son of David?”
Nasdaaw amin dagiti tattao ket kinunada, “Mabalin ngata a daytoy a lalaki ti anak ni David?”
24 But the Pharisees, hearing it, said, “This man does not cast out demons, except by Beelzebub, the prince of the demons.”
Ngem idi nangngeg dagiti Pariseo daytoy a nakakaskasdaaw, kinunada, “Saan a mangpaksiat daytoy a tao kadagiti demonio malaksid no babaen kenni Beelzebub, ti prinsipe dagiti demonio.”
25 But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself will become desolate. And every city or house divided against itself will not stand.
Ngem ammo ni Jesus dagiti panpanunotenda ket kinunana kadakuada, “Tunggal pagarian nga agbibinnusor dagiti umilina ket agbalin nga awan serserbina, ken tunggal siudad wenno balay nga awan panagkaykaysana ket saanto a makatakder.
26 So if Satan casts out Satan, then he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?
No ni Satanas ket paksiatenna ni Satanas, busorenna ti bagbagina. Kasano pay a makapagtultuloy ti pagarianna?
27 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your own sons cast them out? Therefore, they shall be your judges.
Ket no mangpakpaksiatak kadagiti demonio babaen kenni Beelzebub, siasino ngarud ngay ti mangmangted kadagiti annakyo iti pannakabalin a mangpaksiat kadakuada? Gapu iti daytoy, isudanto dagiti agbalin nga ukomyo.
28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has arrived among you.
Ngem no mangpakpaksiatak kadagiti demonio babaen iti Espiritu ti Dios, ngarud ti pagarian ti Dios ket immay kadakayo.
29 Or how can anyone enter into the house of a strong man, and plunder his belongings, unless he first restrains the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.
Ken kasano a sumrek ti siasinoman iti balay ti napigsa a tao ken agtakaw kadagiti sanikuana no saanna nga igalut nga umana ti napigsa a tao? Sananto takawen dagiti sanikuana manipud iti balayna.
30 Whoever is not with me, is against me. And whoever does not gather with me, scatters.
Ti saanko a kadua ket maibusor kaniak, ken ti saan a makipagurnong kaniak ket agiwara.
31 For this reason, I say to you: Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.
ibagak kadakayo, mapakawanto ti tunggal basol ken panangtabbaaw kadagiti tao, ngem saanto a mapakawan ti panangtabbaaw iti Espiritu.
32 And anyone who will have spoken a word against the Son of man shall be forgiven. But whoever will have spoken against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven, neither in this age, nor in the future age. (aiōn )
Ken ti siasinoman nga agsao iti aniaman a maibusor iti Anak ti Tao, mapakawanto dayta kenkuana. Ngem ti siasinoman nga agsao a maibusor iti Espiritu Santo, saanto a mapakawan dayta kenkuana, iti daytoy man a lubong, wenno iti masakbayan. (aiōn )
33 Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree evil and its fruit evil. For certainly a tree is known by its fruit.
Ibilangyo a napintas ti maysa a kayo no napintas ti bungana, ken ibilangyo a saan a napintas ti kayo no saan a napintas ti bungana, ta mailasinmo ti kayo babaen iti bungana.
34 Progeny of vipers, how are you able to speak good things while you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
Dakayo nga annak dagiti uleg, agsipud ta dakeskayo, kasano a makapagsaokayo kadagiti nasayaat a banbanag? Ta no ania ti adda iti puso ti tao isu met ti isawang ti ngiwatna.
35 A good man offers good things from a good storehouse. And an evil man offers evil things from an evil storehouse.
Ti nasayaat a tao ket agaramid iti nasayaat gapu iti kinasayaat nga adda iti pusona, ken ti dakes a tao ket agaramid iti dakes gapu iti kinadakes nga adda iti pusona.
36 But I say to you, that for every idle word which men will have spoken, they shall render an account in the day of judgment.
Ket ibagak kadakayo nga inton aldaw ti pannakaukom, sungbatanto dagiti tattao ti tunggal awan serserbina a sao a naisawangda.
37 For by your words shall you be justified, and by your words shall you be condemned.”
Ta babaen kadagiti saom, maibilangka a nalinteg, ken makedngankanto babaen kadagiti saom.”
38 Then certain ones from the scribes and the Pharisees responded to him, saying, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”
Ket simmungbat dagiti sumagmamano nga eskriba ken Pariseo kenni Jesus ket kinunada, “Manursuro, kayatmi ti makakita iti pagilasinan manipud kenka.”
39 And answering, he said to them: “An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign. But a sign will not be given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
Ngem simmungbat ni Jesus ket kinunana kadakuada, “Agbirbirok iti pagilasinan ti dakes ken mannakikamalala a kaputotan. Ngem awan ti maited a pagilasinan malaksid laeng iti pagilasinan ni Jonas a profeta.
40 For just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale for three days and three nights, so shall the Son of man be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.
Ta kas kenni Jonas a tallo nga aldaw ken tallo a rabiina iti tian ti dakkel a lames, kastanto met a ti Anak ti Tao ket tallo nga aldaw ken tallo a rabiinanto iti puso ti daga.
41 The men of Nineveh shall arise in judgment with this generation, and they shall condemn it. For, at the preaching of Jonah, they repented. And behold, there is a greater than Jonah here.
Iti pannakaukom, tumakderto dagiti lallaki iti Nineve iti sangoanan dagitoy a henerasion ket ukomenda daytoy. Ta nagbabawida iti panagkasaba ni Jonas, ket kitaenyo, adda ditoy ti natantan-ok ngem ni Jonas.
42 The Queen of the South shall arise in judgment with this generation, and she shall condemn it. For she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon. And behold, there is a greater than Solomon here.
Iti pannakaukom, tumakderto ti Reyna ti Abagatan a kaduana dagiti lallaki iti daytoy a henerasion ket ukomenanna daytoy. Naggapu isuna iti pungto ti daga tapno agdengngeg iti kinasirib ni Solomon, ket kitaenyo, adda ditoy ti natantan-ok ngem ni Solomon.
43 Now when an unclean spirit departs from a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest, and he does not find it.
No pimmanaw ti narugit nga espiritu iti maysa a lalaki, lumabas kadagiti namaga a lugar ket mangsapul iti paginanaan, ngem awan ti masapulanna.
44 Then he says, ‘I will return to my house, from which I departed’. And arriving, he finds it vacant, swept clean, and decorated.
Ket kunaenna, 'Agsubliak iti balayko a naggapuak.' Iti panagsublina, masarakanna a nawalisan ken naiurnos daytoy a balay.
45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and live there. And in the end, the man becomes worse than he was at first. So, too, shall it be with this most wicked generation.”
Iti kasta, pumanaw ket mapan mangikuyog iti pito nga espiritu a nadakdakes pay ngem isuna, ket umayda amin agnaed sadiay. Ket agbalin a dakdakes ngem iti immuna ti pagtungpalan ti kasasaad dayta a lalaki. Kastanto met ti pagbanagan daytoy a dakes a henerasion.”
46 While he was still speaking to the crowds, behold, his mother and his brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak with him.
Bayat nga agsasao pay laeng ni Jesus kadagiti adu a tattao, adda met a nakatakder iti ruar ti ina ken dagiti kakabsatna a lallaki, ket kayatda a katungtongen isuna.
47 And someone said to him: “Behold, your mother and your brothers are standing outside, seeking you.”
Adda nangibaga kenkuana, “Kitaem, agtaktakder ti inam ken dagiti kakabsatmo a lallaki iti ruar, ket kayatdaka a katungtongen.”
48 But responding to the one speaking to him, he said, “Which one is my mother, and who are my brothers?”
Ngem simmungbat ni Jesus ket kinunana iti nangibaga kenkuana, “Siasino aya ti inak? Ken siasino aya dagiti kakabsatko a lallaki?”
49 And extending his hand to his disciples, he said: “Behold: my mother and my brothers.
Ket inturongna ti imana kadagiti adalanna sana kinuna, “Kitaenyo, adtoy ti inak ken dagiti kakabsatko a lallaki!
50 For anyone who does the will of my Father, who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.”
Ta ti siasinoman a mangaramid iti pagayatan ni Amak nga adda sadi langit, dayta a tao ti kabsatko a lalaki, ken ti kabsatko a babai, ken ti inak.”
