Leviticus 5
1 If a soul will have sinned, and heard the voice of one testifying under oath, and he is a witness because either he has seen it himself, or he is aware of it: if he does not reveal it, he shall carry his iniquity.
೧“‘ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯು ತಿಳಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟರೂ, ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ತಾನು ಕಂಡು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸದೆಹೋದರೆ ಅವನು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವನು.
2 The soul that will have touched anything unclean, either that which has been killed by a beast, or that which has died on its own, or any other creeping thing, and will have forgotten its uncleanness, he is guilty and has committed a transgression.
೨ಯಾವನಿಗಾದರೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಕಾಡುಮೃಗ, ಪಶು ಮತ್ತು ಜಂತು ಇವುಗಳ ಹೆಣವಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಸ್ತುವಾಗಲಿ ತಗಲಿದರೆ, ದೇವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಹೋದರೂ ಅವನು ಅಶುದ್ಧನೂ ಮತ್ತು ದೋಷಿಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವನು.
3 And if he will have touched anything from the uncleanness of man, according to every kind of impurity by which he may be defiled, and having forgotten it, afterwards realizes it, he shall be guilty of committing a transgression.
೩ಮನುಷ್ಯದೇಹದಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾದ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ಅಶುದ್ಧವಸ್ತು ತಗಲಿದ್ದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಹೋದರೂ ಅದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ದೋಷಿಯಾಗುವನು.
4 The soul who swears and offers from his own lips that he would do either evil or good, and who will have bound the same with an oath and with his own words, and, having forgotten it, afterwards understands his transgression,
೪ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಆಲೋಚಿಸದೆ ಮೇಲಿಗಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಕೇಡಿಗಾಗಲಿ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡರೆ, ಅದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಹೋದರೂ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಇದರಿಂದಲೂ ದೋಷಿಯಾಗುವನು.
5 let him do penance for his sin,
೫ಅವನು ಈ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಒಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ದೋಷಿಯಾದಾಗ ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ತಪ್ಪನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
6 and let him offer from the flocks a female lamb or a she-goat, and the priest shall pray for him and for his sin.
೬ಅವನು ದೋಷದ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಕುರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮೇಕೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು. ಯಾಜಕನು ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರ ಮಾಡುವನು.
7 But if he is not able to offer a beast, let him offer two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the Lord, one for sin, and the other for a holocaust.
೭“‘ಕುರಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಗತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ದೋಷದ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎರಡು ಬೆಳವಕ್ಕಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಎರಡು ಪಾರಿವಾಳದ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು, ಒಂದನ್ನು ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ ಯಜ್ಞವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದನ್ನು ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.
8 And he shall give them to the priest, who, offering the first for sin, shall twist back its head to the little wings, so that it adheres to the neck and is not entirely broken off.
೮ಅವನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದಾಗ ಯಾಜಕನು ಮೊದಲು ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಾರ್ಥವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅವನು ಅದರ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮುರಿಯಬೇಕು; ಆದರೆ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡಬಾರದು.
9 And he shall sprinkle some of its blood at the side of the altar. But whatever will remain, he shall cause it to drip down to the base, because it is for sin.
೯ಆಗ ಅವನು ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಾರ್ಥವಾದ ಆ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಪಕ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಿ ಉಳಿದ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಬುಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಿಯಬೇಕು. ಅದು ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ ಯಜ್ಞ.
10 Yet truly, the other he shall burn as a holocaust, just as is usually done. And the priest shall pray for him, and for his sin, and he shall be released from it.
೧೦ಅವನು ಎರಡನೆಯ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಅವನ ತಪ್ಪಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಯಾಜಕನು ಹೀಗೆ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕ್ಷಮಾಪಣೆಯಾಗುವುದು.
11 But if his hand is unable to offer two turtledoves or two young pigeons, he shall offer, for his sin, the tenth part of an ephah of fine wheat flour. He shall not put oil in it, nor place upon it any frankincense, because it is for sin.
೧೧“‘ಎರಡು ಬೆಳವಕ್ಕಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಎರಡು ಪಾರಿವಾಳದ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಗತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದರೆ, ಅವನು ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮೂರು ಸೇರು ಗೋದಿಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನು ತರಬೇಕು. ಆ ಹೋಮದ್ರವ್ಯವು ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಯ್ಯಬಾರದು ಅಥವಾ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಇಡಬಾರದು.
12 And he shall deliver it to the priest, who shall take a handful of it, and shall burn it upon the altar as a memorial for him who offered it,
೧೨ಅವನು ಯಾಜಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತಂದನಂತರ ಅದು ದೈವಾರ್ಪಿತವೆಂದು ಸೂಚಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಾಜಕನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಹಿಡಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಹೋಮದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಮಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಅದು ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ ಯಜ್ಞ.
13 praying for him and making atonement. Yet truly, the remaining part he himself shall have as a gift.
೧೩ಮೇಲೆ ಕಂಡ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ವಿಧವಾಗಿ ಅವನು ದೋಷಿಯಾದರೂ, ಯಾಜಕನು ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಹೀಗೆ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನಂತರ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕ್ಷಮಾಪಣೆಯಾಗುವುದು. ಧಾನ್ಯನೈವೇದ್ಯ ದ್ರವ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದದ್ದು ಹೇಗೆ ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲುತ್ತದೋ ಇದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉಳಿದದ್ದು ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಬೇಕು.’”
14 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
೧೪ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,
15 If a soul, by mistake, shall have transgressed the ceremonies in those things that are sanctified to the Lord, he shall offer for his offense an immaculate ram from the flocks, such as can be bought for two shekels, according to the weight of the Sanctuary.
೧೫“ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ದೇವರ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ ದ್ರೋಹಮಾಡಿ ದೋಷಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾದರೆ ಅವನು ಆ ಅಪರಾಧದ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಾಂಗವಾದ ಟಗರನ್ನು ಆಡುಕುರಿಗಳ ಹಿಂಡಿನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು ಅಥವಾ ದೇವರ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾದ ಎರಡು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ನಾಣ್ಯ ಅಥವಾ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬೆಲೆ ಬಾಳುವ ಟಗರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಡಿನಿಂದ ತಂದು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.
16 And he shall make restitution for the damage that he has brought, and he shall add a fifth part more, delivering it to the priest, who shall pray for him while offering the ram, and he shall be released from it.
೧೬ಅವನು ತಾನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಪವಿತ್ರ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಐದನೆಯ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ಅವನು ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಂದ ಟಗರಿನಿಂದ ಯಾಜಕನು ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕ್ಷಮಾಪಣೆಯಾಗುವುದು.
17 If a soul will have sinned through ignorance, and will have done one of those things which the law of the Lord prohibits, and, being guilty of sin, understands his iniquity,
೧೭“ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡಿ ದೋಷಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾದರೆ, ಅದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಹೋದರೂ ಅವನು ಅದರಿಂದ ಅಪರಾಧಿಯಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪಫಲವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಬೇಕು.
18 he shall offer from the flocks an immaculate ram to the priest, according to the measure and estimation of the sin, who shall pray for him, because he did it unknowingly, and he shall be released from it,
೧೮ಅವನು ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹಿಂಡಿನಿಂದ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾಗಿ ತೋರುವ ಪೂರ್ಣಾಂಗವಾದ ಟಗರನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರಬೇಕು. ಅವನು ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ತಪ್ಪನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಾಜಕನು ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಆಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕ್ಷಮಾಪಣೆಯಾಗುವುದು.
19 because by mistake he transgressed against the Lord.
೧೯ಅವನು ಅಪರಾಧಿಯಾದುದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.”
