Leviticus 24
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ,
2 Instruct the sons of Israel, so that they may bring to you clear oil from the purest olives, in order to supply the lamps continuously
೨“ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿನ ದೀಪಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಉರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಎಣ್ಣೆಮರದ ಕಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಟ್ಟಿ ತೆಗೆದ ನಿರ್ಮಲವಾದ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸು.
3 outside the veil of the testimony in the tabernacle of the covenant. And Aaron shall place these, from evening until morning, before the Lord, as a perpetual worship and ritual in your generations.
೩ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಜ್ಞಾಶಾಸನಗಳ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯ ಮುಂದಣ ತೆರೆಯ ಹೊರಗೆ, ಆ ದೀಪಗಳು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವದ ವರೆಗೂ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆ ಆರೋನನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇದು ನಿಮಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೂ ಶಾಶ್ವತನಿಯಮ.
4 They shall be placed upon the most pure candlestick in the sight of the Lord always.
೪ಅವನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಣತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆ ಚೊಕ್ಕಬಂಗಾರದ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು.
5 You shall also receive fine wheat flour, and you shall bake twelve loaves from it, each loaf of which shall have two-tenths.
೫“ಅದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀನು ಗೋದಿಯ ಹಿಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯು ಆರಾರು ಸೇರಿನದಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
6 And you shall arrange them, six on each side, upon the most pure table before the Lord.
೬ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಾರು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಎರಡು ರಾಶಿಗಳಾಗಿ, ಚೊಕ್ಕಬಂಗಾರದ ಮೇಜಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡಬೇಕು.
7 And you shall place upon them the clearest frankincense, so that the bread may be a memorial of oblation for the Lord.
೭ಒಂದೊಂದು ರಾಶಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾದ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಇಡಬೇಕು. ಆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳ ನೈವೇದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆ ಧೂಪವೇ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಹೋಮಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
8 On each Sabbath, they shall be changed before the Lord, having been received from the sons of Israel as an everlasting covenant.
೮ಯಾಜಕನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಪ್ರತಿ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ನಿಬಂಧನೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.
9 And they shall be for Aaron and his sons, so that they may eat these in the holy place; for it is the Holy of holies from the sacrifices of the Lord, as a perpetual right.
೯ಅವು ಆರೋನನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೂ ಸಲ್ಲಬೇಕು. ಮಹಾಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು. ಅವು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತವಾದ ಹೋಮದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವುಗಳಾದುದರಿಂದ ಶಾಶ್ವತನಿಯಮದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೇ ಸಲ್ಲಬೇಕು” ಅಂದನು.
10 Then, behold, the son of an Israelite woman, whom she had born of an Egyptian man among the sons of Israel, going out, was quarreling in the camp with a man of Israel.
೧೦ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಲ್ಲಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ಪುರುಷನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನೊಬ್ಬನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನಾದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಸಂಗಡ ಜಗಳವಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದನು.
11 And when he had blasphemed the name, and had cursed it, he was led to Moses. (Now his mother was called Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri from the tribe of Dan.)
೧೧ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಡಿದು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯು ದಾನ್ ಕುಲದ ದಿಬ್ರೀಯ ಮಗಳಾದ ಶೆಲೋಮೀತ್ ಎಂಬುವವಳು.
12 And they sent him to prison, until they might know what the Lord would command,
೧೨ಅವನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ತನಕ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಾವಲಲ್ಲಿರಿಸಿದರು.
13 who spoke to Moses,
೧೩ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,
14 saying: Lead away the blasphemer beyond the camp, and let all who heard him place their hands upon his head, and let the entire people stone him.
೧೪“ದೂಷಿಸಿದ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಒಯ್ಯಬೇಕು. ಅವನ ದೂಷಣೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟನಂತರ ಸಮೂಹದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕು.
15 And you shall say to the sons of Israel: The man who curses his God shall bear his sin,
೧೫ಮತ್ತು ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು, ‘ತನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸಿದವನು ಆ ದೋಷದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಬೇಕು.
16 and whoever will have blasphemed the name of the Lord shall be put to death. The entire multitude shall overwhelm him with stones, whether he be a citizen or a sojourner. Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord shall be put to death.
೧೬ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸಿದವನಿಗೆ ಮರಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು; ಸಮೂಹದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕು. ಅನ್ಯದೇಶಸ್ಥನೇ ಆಗಿರಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಸ್ವದೇಶಸ್ಥನೇ ಆಗಿರಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸಿದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮರಣಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು.
17 Whoever will have struck and killed a man shall be put to death.
೧೭“‘ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದವನಿಗೆ ಮರಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು.
18 Whoever will have struck down an animal shall repay its equivalent, that is, a life for a life.
೧೮ಪಶುವನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಕೊಂದವನಿಂದ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಈಡನ್ನು ಕೊಡಿಸಬೇಕು, ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡಿಸಬೇಕು.
19 Whoever will have inflicted a blemish on any of his citizens, just as he has done, so shall it be done to him:
೧೯ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಅಂಗಹೀನಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು.
20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, shall he repay. Whatever degree of blemish he has inflicted, so shall he be compelled to suffer.
೨೦ಅವಯವವನ್ನು ಮುರಿದವನಿಗೆ ಅವಯವವನ್ನು ಮುರಿಯುವುದೇ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ. ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಣ್ಣನ್ನೂ, ಹಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಲ್ಲನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆಸಬೇಕು. ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಅಂಗಹೀನ ಮಾಡಿದವನಿಗೆ ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಪ್ರತಿಕಾರ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
21 Whoever strikes down a beast, shall repay another. Whoever strikes a man shall be punished.
೨೧ಪಶುವನ್ನು ಕೊಂದವನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಈಡು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದವನಿಗೆ ಮರಣಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು.
22 Let there be equal judgment among you, whether it is a sojourner or a citizen who will have sinned. For I am the Lord your God.
೨೨ಅನ್ಯರಿಗಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಸ್ವದೇಶದವರಿಗಾಗಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಒಂದೇ ನಿಯಮವಿರಬೇಕು. ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು’” ಎಂಬುದೇ.
23 And Moses spoke to the sons of Israel. And they led away him who had blasphemed, beyond the camp, and they overwhelmed him with stones. And the sons of Israel did just as the Lord had instructed Moses.
೨೩ಮೋಶೆ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗಿ ಅವರು ದೂಷಿಸಿದವನಾದ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದು ಕೊಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟರು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಮಾಡಿದರು.
