< Leviticus 17 >
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
2 Speak to Aaron and his sons, and to all the sons of Israel, saying to them: This is the word, which the Lord has commanded, saying:
Speak to Aaron and to sons his and to all [the] people of Israel and you will say to them this [is] the thing which he has commanded Yahweh saying.
3 Any man at all of the house of Israel, if he will have killed an ox, or a sheep, or a goat in the camp or beyond the camp,
A person a person from [the] house of Israel who he will cut [the] throat of an ox or a young ram or a goat in the camp or who he will cut [the] throat of [it] from [the] outside of the camp.
4 and not have presented it as an oblation to the Lord at the door of the tabernacle, he shall be guilty of blood. It is just as if he had shed blood; so then, he shall perish from the midst of his people.
And to [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting not he has brought it to present a present to Yahweh before [the] dwelling place of Yahweh blood it will be reckoned to the person that blood he has shed and he will be cut off the person that from among people his.
5 Therefore, the sons of Israel must offer to the priest their victims, which they kill in the field, so that they may be sanctified to the Lord before the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, and so that they may immolate them as peace offerings to the Lord.
So that that they may bring [the] people of Israel sacrifices their which they [are] sacrificing on [the] face of the field and they will bring them to Yahweh to [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting to the priest and they will sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings to Yahweh them.
6 And the priest shall pour the blood upon the altar of the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, and he shall burn the fat as a sweet odor to the Lord.
And he will sprinkle the priest the blood on [the] altar of Yahweh [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting and he will make smoke the fat to an odor of soothing to Yahweh.
7 And they shall no longer immolate their victims to demons, with whom they have committed fornication. It shall be an everlasting ordinance for them and for their posterity.
And not they will sacrifice again sacrifices their to the goat idols which they [are] prostituting themselves after them a statute of perpetuity it will be this for them to generations their.
8 And you shall say to them: The man of the house of Israel, or of the newcomers who sojourn with you, who offers a holocaust or a victim,
And to them you will say a person a person from [the] house of Israel and of the sojourner[s] who he will sojourn in midst of them who he will offer up a burnt offering or a sacrifice.
9 and who does not bring it to the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, so that it may be offered to the Lord, shall pass away from his people.
And to [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting not he will bring it to offer it to Yahweh and he will be cut off the person that from kinspeople his.
10 Any man at all of the house of Israel, or of the newcomers who sojourn among them, if he has eaten blood, I will harden my face against his soul, and I will drive him from his people.
And a person a person from [the] house of Israel and of the sojourner[s] who sojourns in midst of them who he will eat any blood and I will set face my on the person who eats blood and I will cut off it from among people its.
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you, so that you may atone with it upon the altar for your souls, and so that the blood may be for an expiation of the soul.
For [the] life of the flesh [is] in the blood it and I I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement on selves your for [is] the blood it [which] by the life it makes atonement.
12 For this reason, I have said to the sons of Israel: No soul among you shall eat blood, nor among the newcomers who sojourn with you.
There-fore I have said to [the] people of Israel any person from you not it will eat blood and the sojourner who sojourns in midst of you not he will eat blood.
13 Any man at all from the sons of Israel, or from the newcomers who sojourn with you, whether by hunting or bird-catching, if he seizes a wild beast or a bird, which is lawful to eat, let him pour out its blood and cover the earth with it.
And a person a person from [the] people of Israel and of the sojourner[s] who sojourns in midst of them who he will hunt hunted game of an animal or a bird which it will be eaten and he will pour out blood its and he will cover it with dust.
14 For the life of all flesh is in the blood. Therefore, I said to the sons of Israel: You shall not eat the blood of any flesh at all, because the life of the flesh is in the blood, and whoever has eaten it shall perish.
For [the] life of all flesh blood its [is] life its it and I have said to [the] people of Israel [the] blood of any flesh not you must eat for [the] life of all flesh [is] blood its it all [those who] eat it he will be cut off.
15 The soul who eats what has died on its own, or what has been caught by a beast, whether he is native born or a newcomer, shall wash his clothes and himself with water, and he shall be contaminated until evening. And by this means he shall be made clean.
And every person who it will eat a carcass and a torn animal among the native-born and among the sojourner and he will wash garments his and he will wash with water and he will be unclean until the evening and he will be pure.
16 But if he will not wash his clothes and his body, he shall bear his iniquity.
And if not he will wash and body his not he will wash and he will bear iniquity his.
