Job 28
1 Silver has its fissures where it is first found, and gold has a place where it is melted.
ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ದೊರಕುವ ಗಣಿ ಇದೆ. ಬಂಗಾರ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಿಸಲು ಸ್ಥಳವೂ ಇದೆ.
2 Iron is taken from the earth, and ore, unbound by heat, is turned into brass.
ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅದಿರನ್ನು ತಾಮ್ರವಾಗಲು ಕರಗಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
3 He has established a time for darkness, and he has settled on an end for all things, as well as for the stone that is in the gloom and shadow of death.
ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಕತ್ತಲನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಲೋಹಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಆಳ ಪ್ರದೇಶದೊಳಗೆ ಅವರು ಶೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
4 The burning separates a pilgrim people from those who have been forgotten by the feet of the destitute man and from the unapproachable.
ಜನ ನಿವಾಸದಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿ ಗಣಿ ತೋಡಿ, ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ನಡೆದಾಡದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇತರರಿಂದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
5 The land, where bread appeared in its place, has been destroyed by fire.
ಭೂಮಿ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಆದರೆ ಅದರ ಕೆಳಭಾಗವು ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗುವುದು.
6 Its stones are embedded with sapphires, and its soil, with gold.
ಭೂಮಿಯ ಬಂಡೆಗಳು ಇಂದ್ರನೀಲಗಳು ಸಿಗುತ್ತವೆ; ಅದರ ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಗಟ್ಟಿಗಳು ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.
7 The bird does not know its path, nor has the eye of the vulture beheld it.
ಆ ದಾರಿ ಯಾವ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯದು; ಹದ್ದಿನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಸಹ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿಲ್ಲ.
8 The sons of merchants have not walked there, nor has the lioness traveled through it.
ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಸಿಂಹವು ಅದನ್ನು ದಾಟಲಿಲ್ಲ.
9 He has stretched out his hand to the rocks; he has overturned the foundations of the mountains.
ಮಾನವನ ಹಸ್ತವು ಬಂಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಪರ್ವತಗಳ ಬುಡಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಬರಿದಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ.
10 He has cut rivers through the rocks, and his eye has seen all precious things.
ಬಂಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣು ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತದೆ.
11 The depths of rivers he has also examined, and he has brought hidden things into the light.
ಜನರು ನದಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅಡಗಿದ್ದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ತರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
12 But, in truth, where is wisdom to be found, and where is the place of understanding?
ಆದರೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರಕುವುದು? ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆ ಇರುವ ಸ್ಥಳ ಎಲ್ಲಿ?
13 Man does not know its price, nor is it found in the land of those who live in sweetness.
ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮೌಲ್ಯ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ; ಜೀವಿಸುವವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರರು.
14 The abyss declares, “It is not in me.” And the sea says, “It is not with me.”
ಸಾಗರ, “ಜ್ಞಾನವು ನನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಇಲ್ಲ,” ಎನ್ನುತ್ತದೆ; ಸಮುದ್ರವು, “ಜ್ಞಾನವು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ,” ಎನ್ನುತ್ತದೆ.
15 The finest gold will not be paid for it, nor will silver be weighed in exchange for it.
ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬಂಗಾರಕೊಟ್ಟು ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗದು; ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಬೆಲೆಗೆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ತೂಕಮಾಡಲಾಗದು.
16 It will not be compared with the dyed colors of India, nor with the very costly stone sardonyx, nor with the sapphire.
ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಓಫಿರಿನ ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕೂ, ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಗೋಮೇಧಿಕಕ್ಕೂ, ಇಂದ್ರನೀಲಕ್ಕೂ ಬೆಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಗದು.
17 Neither gold nor crystal will be its equal; neither will vessels of gold be fitted for it.
ಬಂಗಾರವೂ, ಸ್ಪಟಿಕವೂ ಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮವಾಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಬಂಗಾರದ ಆಭರಣಗಳು ಸಹ ಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮವಲ್ಲ.
18 The exalted and the eminent will not be remembered in comparison with it. Yet wisdom is drawn out of concealment.
ಹವಳವೂ, ಸೂರ್ಯಕಾಂತ ಶಿಲೆಯೂ ಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಲು ಅರ್ಹವಲ್ಲ; ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಬೆಲೆಯು ಮಾಣಿಕ್ಯಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ!
19 The topaz of Ethiopia will not be equal to it, nor will it be compared to the purest dyes.
ಕೂಷ್ ದೇಶದ ಪುಷ್ಯರಾಗವು ಸಹ ಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಶುದ್ಧ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದಲೂ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗದು.
20 So then, where does wisdom begin, and where is the place of understanding?
ಆದರೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬರುವುದು? ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆಯ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?
21 It has been hidden from the eyes of all living things, just as the birds of the heavens escape notice.
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೂ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿದೆ; ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಅದು ಗೋಚರವಾಗದು.
22 Perdition and death have said, “With our ears, we have heard its fame.”
ನಾಶಲೋಕವೂ ಮರಣವೂ, “ನಾವು ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಿವಿಗಳಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಅಷ್ಟೇ,” ಎನ್ನುತ್ತವೆ.
23 God understands its way, and he knows its location.
ದೇವರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಹೌದು, ದೇವರೇ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
24 For he beholds the limits of the world, and he looks upon all things that are under heaven.
ದೇವರೊಬ್ಬರೇ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯ ತನಕ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ, ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತವನ್ನೂ ನೋಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
25 He created a counterweight for the winds, and he suspended the waters to measure them.
ದೇವರು ಗಾಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಷ್ಟು ತೂಕವನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿ, ನೀರುಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಅಳತೆಮಾಡಿ,
26 At that time, he gave a law to the rain and a path to the resounding storms.
ಮಳೆಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಗರ್ಜಿಸುವ ಸಿಡಿಲಿಗೆ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದಾಗಲೇ
27 Then he saw and explained it, and he made ready and examined it.
ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು. ಹೌದು, ದೇವರು ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಅದನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಮಾಡಿದರು.
28 And he said to man, “Behold the fear of the Lord. Such is wisdom. And to withdraw from evil, this is understanding.”
ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ, “ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿ ಇಡುವುದೇ ಜ್ಞಾನ! ದುಷ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವುದೇ ವಿವೇಕ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
