Job 25

1 Then Baldad the Suhite answered by saying:

೧ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಶೂಹ್ಯನಾದ ಬಿಲ್ದದನು ಹೀಗೆಂದನು,

2 Power and terror are with him that makes a pact with those in high places.

೨“ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವವೂ ಭೀಕರತ್ವವೂ ಉಂಟು, ತನ್ನ ಉನ್ನತ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದವನು ಆತನೇ.

3 Is there any limit to the number of his soldiers or to the number of those over whom his light rises?

೩ಆತನ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿದೆಯೋ? ಆತನ ತೇಜಸ್ಸು ಯಾರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮೂಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ?

4 Is it right for man to compare himself to God, or to appear pure though he is born of woman?

೪ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ದೇವರ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿವಂತನಾಗಿರುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ? ಮಾನವನಾಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವುದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೋ?

5 Behold, even the moon is not radiant, and the stars are not pure, in his sight.

೫ನೋಡಿರಿ, ಆತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಂದ್ರನಿಗಾದರೂ ಕಳೆಯಿಲ್ಲ, ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳೂ ಶುದ್ಧವಲ್ಲ.

6 Is man much more than rottenness and the son of man much more than worms?

೬ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ನರಹುಳವು ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದು! ನರಕ್ರಿಮಿಯು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ!”
