Job 16
1 Then Job, answering, said:
१नंतर ईयोबाने उत्तर दिले आणि म्हणाला,
2 I have often heard such things; you are all aggravating comforters.
२“या सर्व गोष्टी मी पूर्वी ऐकल्या आहेत, तुम्ही सर्व वायफळ सांत्वनकर्ते आहात.
3 Will there be no end to windy words? Or is it at all a burden to you, if you speak?
३तुमची वायफळ शब्द कधीही संपत नाहीत. तुम्हास काय झाले आहे कि, तुम्ही याप्रमाणे उत्तर देता?
4 I, too, can speak like you; and I also wish that your soul favored my soul. I would also comfort you with speeches and would wag my head over you.
४जर तुमच्यासारखे मलाही बोलता आले असते, तर जे आता तुम्ही म्हणत आहात तेच मीही म्हणू शकलो असतो. मी तुमच्याविरुध्द शहाणपणाच्या गोष्टी सांगू शकलो असतो आणि माझे डोके तुमच्यासमोर हलवू शकलो असतो.
5 I would strengthen you with my mouth, and would move my lips, as if being lenient to you.
५अहो मी तुम्हास माझ्या मुखाने मी धीर दिला असता. आणि माझ्या ओठाने तुमचे सांत्वन केले असते.
6 But what can I do? When I am speaking, my grief will not be quiet; and if I am quiet, it will not withdraw from me.
६परंतु मी काहीही बोललो तरी माझ्या यातना कमी होत नाहीत. पण मी बोललो नाहीतर माझ्या यातना कमी कशा होणार?
7 But now my grief has crushed me, and all my limbs have been reduced to nothing.
७खरोखरच तू माझी शक्ती हिरावून घेतली आहेस. तू माझ्या सर्व कुटुंबाचा नाश केला आहेस.
8 My wrinkles bear witness against me, and a liar rises up against my face, contradicting me.
८तू मला खूप बारीक व अशक्त केले आहे म्हणून मी अपराधी आहे असे लोकांस वाटते.
9 He has gathered together his fury towards me, and, threatening me, he has roared against me with his teeth; my enemy has beheld me with terrible eyes.
९देव माझ्यावर हल्ला करतो. तो माझ्यावर रागावला आहे आणि तो माझे शरीर छिन्न विछिन्न करतो. तो माझ्याविरुध्द दात खातो, माझ्या शत्रूचे डोळे माझ्याकडे तिरस्काराने बघतात.
10 They have opened their mouths against me, and, reproaching me, they have struck me on the cheek; they are nourished by my sufferings.
१०लोक माझ्या भोवती जमले आहेत. ते माझी थट्टा करतात व तोंडावर मारतात.
11 God has confined me with the immoral, and he has delivered me into the hands of the impious.
११देवाने मला दुष्ट लोकांच्या स्वाधीन केले आहे. त्याने क्रूर मनुष्यांना मला त्रास द्यायची परवानगी दिली आहे.
12 I, who once was wealthy, am now crushed. He has grabbed me by my neck; he has broken me and has placed me before him as a sign.
१२मी अगदी मजेत होतो, पण देवाने मला चिरडून टाकले. हो त्याने माझी मान पकडली आणि माझे तुकडे तुकडे केले त्याने माझा निशाण्यासारखा उपयोग केला.
13 He has surrounded me with his lances. He has severely wounded my lower back, he has not been lenient, and he has poured out my organs upon the earth.
१३त्याचे धनुर्धारी मला घेरतात. तो माझ्या कंबरेत बाण सोडतो तो दया दाखवीत नाही. तो माझे पित्ताशय धरतीवर रिकामे करतो.
14 He has cut me with wound after wound. He has rushed upon me like a giant.
१४देव माझ्यावर पुन्हा पुन्हा हल्ला करतो. सैनिकाप्रमाणे तो माझ्यावर चाल करून येतो.
15 I have sewn sackcloth over my skin, and I have covered my body with ashes.
१५मी फार दु: खी आहे म्हणून मी दु: खाचे कपडे घालतो. मी इथे धुळीत आणि राखेत बसतो आणि मला पराभूत झाल्यासारखे वाटते.
16 My face is swollen from weeping, and my eyelids have dimmed my vision.
१६रडल्यामुळे माझा चेहरा लाल झाला आहे. माझ्या पापण्यांवर मरणाची छाया आहे.
17 These things I have endured without iniquity in my hand, while I held pure prayers before God.
१७तरीही माझ्या हातून कोणात्याही प्रकारची हिंसा झाली नाही, आणि माझ्या प्रार्थना शुध्द आहेत. तरी असे झाले.
18 O earth, do not conceal my blood, nor let my outcry find a hiding place in you.
१८हे धरती, माझे रक्त लपवू नकोस. माझ्या रडण्याला विश्रांतीस्थान देऊ नकोस.
19 For behold, my witness is in heaven, and my confidante is on high.
१९स्वर्गात कदाचित् माझ्या बाजूचा कुणीतरी असेल. जो माझी त्या सर्वसमर्थासमोर हमी घेईल.
20 My friends are full of words; my eye rains tears upon God.
२०माझे मित्र माझा उपहास करतात, पण माझे डोळे देवासमोर अश्रू ढाळतात.
21 And I wish that a man might be so judged before God, just as the son of man is judged with his assistant!
२१जशी एखादी व्यक्ती आपल्या मित्रासाठी वादविवाद करते तसा तो माझ्याविषयी देवाबरोबर बोलतो.
22 For behold, a few years pass by, and I am walking a path by which I will not return.
२२जेव्हा काही वर्ष जातील, तेव्हा मी पुन्हा कधीही परतून न येणाऱ्या जागी जाणार आहे.”
