Jeremiah 30
1 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying:
യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നു യിരെമ്യാവിന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്തെന്നാൽ:
2 “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, saying: You shall write in a book all the words that I have spoken to you.
യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന സകലവചനങ്ങളെയും ഒരു പുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിവെക്കുക.
3 For behold, the days are approaching, says the Lord, when I will convert the turning away of my people, Israel and Judah, says the Lord. And I will return them to the land which I gave to their fathers, and they will possess it.”
ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേലും യെഹൂദയുമായ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പ്രവാസം മാറ്റുവാനുള്ള കാലം വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു: ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാൎക്കു കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു അവരെ മടക്കിവരുത്തും; അവർ അതിനെ കൈവശമാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
4 And these are the words which the Lord has spoken to Israel and to Judah:
യഹോവ യിസ്രായേലിനെയും യെഹൂദയെയും കുറിച്ചു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വചനങ്ങളാവിതു:
5 For thus says the Lord: ‘We have heard a voice of terror. There is dread, and there is no peace.’
യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നാം നടുക്കത്തിന്റെ മുഴക്കം കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; സമാധാനമല്ല, ഭയമത്രെ ഉള്ളതു.
6 Inquire and see, does a male give birth? Then why have I seen every man with his hand on his lower back, like a woman bearing a child? And why have all of their faces turned pale?
പുരുഷൻ പ്രസവിക്കുമാറുണ്ടോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചുനോക്കുവിൻ! ഏതു പുരുഷനും നോവുകിട്ടിയ സ്ത്രീയെപ്പോലെ കൈ നടുവിന്നു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നതും ഏതു മുഖവും വിളറിയിരിക്കുന്നതും ഞാൻ കാണുന്നതു എന്തു?
7 Woe! For that day is great, and there is nothing like it. For it is the time of tribulation for Jacob, but he will be saved from it.
ആ നാൾപോലെ വേറെ ഇല്ലാതവണ്ണം അതു വലുതായിരിക്കുന്നു കഷ്ടം! അതു യാക്കോബിന്നു കഷ്ടകാലം തന്നേ; എങ്കിലും അവൻ അതിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും.
8 And this shall be in that day, says the Lord of hosts: I will crush his yoke from your neck, and I will break open his bands. And strangers will no longer rule over him.
അന്നു ഞാൻ അവന്റെ നുകം നിന്റെ കഴുത്തിൽനിന്നു ഒടിച്ചു ബന്ധനങ്ങളെ അറുത്തുകളയും; അന്യന്മാർ ഇനി അവനെക്കൊണ്ടു സേവ ചെയ്യിക്കയുമില്ല എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
9 Instead, they will serve the Lord their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.
അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെയും ഞാൻ അവൎക്കു എഴുന്നേല്പിപ്പാനുള്ള രാജാവായ ദാവീദിനെയും സേവിക്കും.
10 Therefore, O my servant Jacob, you should not be afraid, says the Lord, and you should not be frightened, O Israel. For behold, I will save you from a far away land, and your offspring from the land of their captivity. And Jacob will return and have rest, and he shall flow with every good thing. And there will be no one for him to dread.
ആകയാൽ എന്റെ ദാസനായ യാക്കോബേ, നീ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; യിസ്രായേലേ, നീ ഭ്രമിക്കേണ്ടാ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ദൂരത്തുനിന്നും നിന്റെ സന്തതിയെ പ്രവാസദേശത്തുനിന്നും രക്ഷിക്കും; യാക്കോബ് മടങ്ങിവന്നു സ്വസ്ഥതമായും സ്വൈരമായും ഇരിക്കും; ആരും അവനെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയില്ല.
11 For I am with you, says the Lord, so that I may save you. For I will bring about the consummation of all the nations, among which I have scattered you. But I will not bring about your consummation. Instead, I will chastise you in judgment, so that you will not seem innocent to yourself.”
നിന്നെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടുകൂടെയുണ്ടു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; നിന്നെ ഞാൻ ചിതറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ സകലജാതികളെയും ഞാൻ മുടിച്ചുകളയും; എങ്കിലും, നിന്നെ ഞാൻ മുടിച്ചു കളകയില്ല; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ന്യായത്തോടെ ശിക്ഷിക്കും; ശിക്ഷിക്കാതെ വിടുകയില്ലതാനും.
12 For thus says the Lord: “Your fracture is incurable; your wound is very serious.
യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിന്റെ പരുക്കു മാറാത്തതും നിന്റെ മുറിവു വിഷമമുള്ളതുമാകുന്നു.
13 There is no one who may judge your judgment, so as to bandage it; there is no useful treatment for you.
നിന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം നടത്തുവാൻ ആരുമില്ല; നിന്റെ മുറിവിന്നു ഇടുവാൻ മരുന്നും കുഴമ്പും ഇല്ല.
14 All your lovers have forgotten you, and they will not seek you. For I have wounded you with the strike of an enemy, with a cruel chastisement. Your sins have become hardened because of the multitude of your iniquities.
നിന്റെ സ്നേഹിതന്മാർ ഒക്കെയും നിന്നെ മറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്റെ ആധിക്യംനിമിത്തവും നിന്റെ പാപത്തിന്റെ പെരുപ്പംനിമിത്തവും ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ശത്രു അടിക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും ക്രൂരൻ ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും അടിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു അവർ നിന്നെ നോക്കുന്നില്ല.
15 Why do you cry out over your affliction? Your pain is incurable. I have done these things to you because of the multitude of your iniquity and because of your hardened sins.
നിന്റെ പരുക്കിനെയും മാറാത്ത വേദനയെയും കുറിച്ചു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു? നിന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്റെ ആധിക്യംനിമിത്തവും നിന്റെ പാപത്തിന്റെ പെരുപ്പംനിമിത്തവും അല്ലോ ഞാൻ ഇതു നിന്നോടു ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.
16 Because of this, all those who devour you, will be devoured. And all your enemies will be led into captivity. And those who devastate you, will be devastated. And all those who prey upon you, I will offer as a prey.
അതുകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ തിന്നുകളയുന്നവരെല്ലാവരും തിന്നുകളയപ്പെടും; നിന്റെ സകല വൈരികളും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകും; നിന്നെ കൊള്ളയിടുന്നവർ കൊള്ളയായ്തീരും നിന്നെ കവൎച്ച ചെയ്യുന്നവരെയൊക്കെയും ഞാൻ കവൎച്ചെക്കു ഏല്പിക്കും.
17 For I will close up your scar, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord. For they have called you an outcast, O Zion: ‘This is she who has no one asking for her.’”
അവർ നിന്നെ ഭ്രഷ്ടയെന്നും ആരും തിരിഞ്ഞു നോക്കാത്ത സീയോനെന്നും വിളിക്കകൊണ്ടു, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ മുറിവുകളെ പൊറുപ്പിച്ചു നിനക്കു ആരോഗ്യം വരുത്തും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
18 Thus says the Lord: “Behold, I will turn back the turning away of the tabernacles of Jacob, and I will take pity on his roofs. And the city will be built up in her heights, and the temple will be founded according to its order.
യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ യാക്കോബിൻകൂടാരങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവാസം മാറ്റി അവന്റെ നിവാസങ്ങളോടു കരുണ കാണിക്കും; നഗരം അതിന്റെ കൽക്കുന്നിന്മേൽ പണിയപ്പെടും; അരമനയും യഥാസ്ഥാനപ്പെടും.
19 And praise will go forth from them, with the voice of those who play. And I will multiply them, and they will not be lessened. And I will glorify them, and they will not be weakened.
അവയിൽനിന്നു സ്തോത്രവും സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഘോഷവും പുറപ്പെടും; ഞാൻ അവരെ വൎദ്ധിപ്പിക്കും; അവർ കുറഞ്ഞുപോകയില്ല; ഞാൻ അവരെ മഹത്വീകരിക്കും; അവർ എളിമപ്പെടുകയുമില്ല.
20 And their sons will be as in the beginning. And their assembly will remain in my sight. And I will visit against all those who trouble them.
അവരുടെ മക്കളും പണ്ടത്തെപ്പോലെയാകും; അവരുടെ സഭ എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിലനില്ക്കും; അവരെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരെയും ഞാൻ സന്ദൎശിക്കും.
21 And their ruler will be one of their own. And their prince will be led forward from their midst. And I will draw him near, and he will cling to me. For who is the one who applies his heart, so that he may draw near to me, says the Lord?
അവരുടെ പ്രഭു അവരിൽനിന്നു തന്നേ ഉണ്ടാകും; അവരുടെ അധിപതി അവരുടെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു ഉത്ഭവിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവനെ അടുപ്പിക്കും; അവൻ എന്നോടു അടുക്കും; അല്ലാതെ എന്നോടു അടുപ്പാൻ ധൈൎയ്യപ്പെടുന്നവൻ ആർ? എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
22 And you shall be my people, and I will be your God.”
അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു ജനമായും ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദൈവമായും ഇരിക്കും.
23 Behold the whirlwind of the Lord, his fury going forth, a destroying storm! It will rest upon the head of the impious.
യഹോവയുടെ ക്രോധം എന്ന ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റു, കടുപ്പമായി അടിക്കുന്ന ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റു തന്നേ, പുറപ്പെടുന്നു; അതു ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ തലമേൽ ചുഴന്നടിക്കും.
24 The Lord will not turn back the wrath of his indignation, until he has accomplished and completed the plan of his heart. In the last days, you shall understand these things.
യഹോവയുടെ ഉഗ്രകോപം അവന്റെ മനസ്സിലെ നിൎണ്ണയങ്ങളെ നടത്തി നിവൎത്തിക്കുവോളം മടങ്ങുകയില്ല; ഭാവികാലത്തു നിങ്ങൾ അതു ഗ്രഹിക്കും.
