James 4
1 Where do wars and contentions among you come from? Is it not from this: from your own desires, which battle within your members?
୧ତମର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ମାରାମାରି ଆରି ଲାଗାଜଡା କାଇକେ ଆଇଲାନି? ତମର୍ ମନ୍ବିତ୍ରେ ଡସିରଇବା କାରାପ୍ ମନ୍କଲାଟା ଉଟିକରି ତମର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଜୁଜ୍ଲାନି, ଏଟାର୍ ଲାଗି ଏନ୍ତାରି ଅଇଲାନି । ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ଆରିଗଟେକ୍ ଲକର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଲାଗ୍ଲାସ୍ନି ।
2 You desire, and you do not have. You envy and you kill, and you are unable to obtain. You argue and you fight, and you do not have, because you do not ask.
୨କାଇକେବଇଲେ ତମେ ଜନ୍ଟା ମିଲାଇବାକେ ମନ୍ କଲାସ୍ନି, ସେଟା ମିଲାଇ ନାପାର୍ଲେ, ମରାଇବାକେ ମନ୍କଲାସ୍ନି । ଜନ୍ଟା ମିଲାଇବାକେ ବେସି ମନ୍ ଅଇଲାନି, ସେଟା ମିଲାଇବାକେ ତମ୍କେ ବପୁନାଇ । ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ତମର୍ତମର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଲାଗାଜଡା ଅଇ ମାରାମାରି ଅଇଲାସ୍ନି । ତମେ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ମାଙ୍ଗାସ୍ ନାଇଜେ ମନ୍କଲାଟା ମିଲାଇ ନା ପାର୍ଲାସ୍ନି ।
3 You ask and you do not receive, because you ask badly, so that you may use it toward your own desires.
୩ତମେ ମାଙ୍ଗ୍ତେରଇସା, ମାତର୍ ସେ ତମ୍କେ ଦେଏ ନାଇ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ସେଟା କାରାପ୍ କର୍ବାକେ ମାଙ୍ଗ୍ଲାସ୍ନି । ସୁକେ ରଇକରି ସାଇସାର୍ଦା ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ରଇବୁ ବଲି ମାଙ୍ଗ୍ଲାସ୍ନି ।
4 You adulterers! Do you not know that the friendship of this world is hostile to God? Therefore, whoever has chosen to be a friend of this world has been made into an enemy of God.
୪ଏ ବିସ୍ବାସେ ବିସ୍ଦେବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍, ତମେ କାଇ ନାଜାନାସ୍ କି ଜଗତ୍କେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କରୁମନ୍ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ସତ୍ରୁ ବଲିକରି? ଜନ୍ଲକ୍ ଏ ଜଗତର୍ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି ଆଲାଦ୍ କର୍ବାଇ ସେମନ୍ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ବିରଦି ।
5 Or do you think that Scripture says in vain: “The spirit which lives within you desires unto envy?”
୫ତମେ ଦରମ୍ ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକାଅଇରଇବା ଏ ବାକିଅ ଚୁଚାଇ ବଲିକରି ବାବ୍ଲାସ୍ନି କି? ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଜନ୍ ଆତ୍ମାକେ ଆମର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ବାସାଅଇରଇବାକେ ଦେଲାଆଚେ, ସେ ଆମ୍କେ ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ଅଦିକାର୍ କର୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ କଲାନି ।
6 But he gives a greater grace. Therefore he says: “God resists the arrogant, but he gives grace to the humble.”
୬ମାତର୍ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଜିବନ୍ ଦୁକାଇଲାଟା, ତାର୍ତେଇଅନି ଅଦିକ୍ ବପୁଆଚେ । ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ସାସ୍ତର୍ କଇଲାନି, ଆଁକ୍ରିଆମନ୍କେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ବିରଦ୍ କର୍ସି, ମାତର୍ ସୁଆଲେ ରଇବା ଲକ୍କେ ତାର୍ ଜିବନ୍ ଦୁକାଇ, ଦୟା କର୍ସି ।
7 Therefore, be subject to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
୭ତେବର୍ ପାଇ, ତମେ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ସର୍ପାଇଉଆ । ସଇତାନ୍କେ ଜାକି ଦିଆସ୍ । ସେନ୍ତାରି କଲେ ସଇତାନ୍ ତମର୍ଲଗେ ଅନି ପାଲାଇସି ।
8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners! And purify your hearts, you duplicitous souls!
୮ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଲଗେ ଆସା, ତେବେ ସେ ମିସା ତମର୍ ଲଗେ ଲଗେ ରଇସି । ଏ ପାପିମନ୍, କାରାପ୍ କାମ୍କର୍ବାଟା ଚାଡିଦିଆସ୍ । ଆରି ଏ ଦୁଇବାଟେ ମନ୍କରୁମନ୍ ତମର୍ ମନ୍ ନିର୍ମଲ୍ କରା ।
9 Be afflicted: mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your gladness into sorrow.
୯ତମର୍ ପାପର୍ଲାଗି ମାରିଚପି ଅଇକରି କାନ୍ଦ୍ତେରୁଆ । ନ ଆଁସିକରି କାନ୍ଦ୍ତେରୁଆ, ସାର୍ଦା ନ ଅଇକରି ଦୁକେ ରୁଆ ।
10 Be humbled in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.
୧୦ମାପ୍ରୁର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ନିଜେ ନିଜେ ସର୍ପିଉଆ, ସେ ତମ୍କେ ଉଟାଇସି ।
11 Brothers, do not choose to slander one another. Whoever slanders his brother, or whoever judges his brother, slanders the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.
୧୧ଏ ମର୍ ବାଇବଇନିମନ୍, ନିଜର୍ ନିଜର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ କୁଟ୍ କାତା କୁଆ ନାଇ । ଜଦି ବିସ୍ବାସି ବାଇମନର୍ ବିରୁଦେ କୁଟ୍ କାତା କଇ ତାକେ ଦସ୍ ଦେଇସା, ତମେ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ବିରୁଦେ କାତା ଅଇଲାସ୍ନି । ଆରି ତାର୍ ନିୟମ୍କେ ବିଚାର୍ କଲାସ୍ନି । ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ବିଚାର୍ କଲେ, ତମେ ତାର୍ ଆଦେସ୍ ମାନାସ୍ ନାଇ । ମାତର୍ ବିଚାର୍କାରିଆ ଇସାବେ ରଇଲାସ୍ନି ।
12 There is one lawgiver and one judge. He is able to destroy, and he is able to set free.
୧୨ପର୍ମେସର୍ସେ ନିୟମ୍ ଦେଇପାର୍ସି । ସେ ସେ ଆମ୍କେ ବିଚାର୍ କରିପାର୍ସି । ସେ ସେ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ରକିଆ କରିପାର୍ସି ଆରି ସେ ସେ କୁରୁପ୍ନାସ୍ କରିପାର୍ସି । ମାତର୍ ତମେ କେ ଜେ, ବିନ୍ ଲକର୍ ବିଚାର୍ କରିପାରାସ୍?
13 But who are you to judge your neighbor? Consider this, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into that city, and certainly we will spend a year there, and we will do business, and we will make our profit,”
୧୩ତେବେ ମର୍ କାତା ସୁନା । ତମର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଏନ୍ତାରି କାତା ଅଇତେରଇସା, ଆଜି ନଇଲେ କାଲିକେ ଆମେ ଏ ନଅରେ କି ସେ ନଅରେ ଜିବୁ, ତେଇ ବର୍ସେକ୍ ରଇବୁ ଆରି ବେବାର୍ କରି ଡାବୁ ଅରଜ୍ବୁ ।
14 consider that you do not know what will be tomorrow.
୧୪ମାତର୍ କାଲିକେ କାଇଟା ଗଟ୍ସି, ସେଟା ତମେତା ନାଜାନାସ୍! ତମର୍ ଜିବନ୍ ଦୁଉଁରି ସମାନ୍, ଜନ୍ଟାକି ଚନେକର୍ ପାଇ ଡିସ୍ସି ଆରି ମାୟା ଅଇଜାଇସି ।
15 For what is your life? It is a mist that appears for a brief time, and afterwards will vanish away. So what you ought to say is: “If the Lord wills,” or, “If we live,” we will do this or that.
୧୫ତାର୍ ବାଦୁଲେ ତମେ ମାପ୍ରୁ ମନ୍ କଲେ ଆମେ ଜିଇକରି ଏନ୍ତାରି ନଇଲେ ସେନ୍ତାରି କରୁ ବଲି କଇବାର୍ ଆଚେ ।
16 But now you exult in your arrogance. All such exultation is wicked.
୧୬ମାତର୍ ତମେ ସେନ୍ତାରି କରାସ୍ ନାଇ । ଆଁକ୍ରିଆମନ୍ ଆରି ବଡ୍ପନ୍ କାତା କଉଁମନ୍ । ଏନ୍ତାରି ବଡ୍ପନ୍ କାତା କଇବାଟା ବୁଲ୍ଆଚେ ।
17 Therefore, he who knows that he ought to do a good thing, and does not do it, for him it is a sin.
୧୭ଏତାଇ ରୁଆ । ଜେ ଜଦି ଏଟା ନିକ କାମ୍ ବଲି ଜାନେ, ମାତର୍ ସେଟା ନ କରେ ବଇଲେ, ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଦେକ୍ବା ଇସାବେ ସେ ଦସ୍ କଲାଆଚେ ।
