Hebrews 9
1 Certainly, the former also had the justifications of worship and a holy place for that age.
Ahora bien, el primer Pacto tenía ordenanzas de culto y un santuario terrenal.
2 For a tabernacle was made at first, in which were the lampstand, and the table, and the bread of the Presence, which is called Holy.
Porque [el] Tabernáculo fue preparado: la primera parte llamada Lugar Santo, en la cual estaba el candelabro, la mesa y los Panes de la Presentación.
3 Then, beyond the second veil, was the tabernacle, which is called the Holy of Holies,
Detrás de la segunda cortina estaba la parte del Tabernáculo llamada Lugar Santísimo,
4 having a golden censer, and the ark of the testament, covered all around and on every part with gold, in which was a golden urn containing manna, and the rod of Aaron which had blossomed, and the tablets of the testament.
que tenía [el] incensario de oro y el Arca del Pacto cubierta de oro por todas partes, en la cual estaba una urna de oro que contenía el maná, la vara de Aarón que reverdeció y las tablas del Pacto.
5 And over the ark were the Cherubim of glory, overshadowing the propitiatory. There is not enough time to speak about each of these things.
Encima del Arca había querubines de gloria que cubrían el propiciatorio, de lo cual no es posible hablar ahora en detalle.
6 Yet truly, once such things were placed together, in the first part of the tabernacle, the priests were, indeed, continually entering, so as to carry out the duties of the sacrifices.
Preparadas así estas cosas en el primer Tabernáculo, los sacerdotes entran continuamente para cumplir ritos.
7 But into the second part, once a year, the high priest alone entered, not without blood, which he offered on behalf of the neglectful offenses of himself and of the people.
Pero en la segunda parte, solo entra el sumo sacerdote una vez al año, con la sangre que ofrece por él mismo y por los pecados del pueblo cometidos por ignorancia.
8 In this way, the Holy Spirit is signifying that the way to what is most holy was not yet made manifest, not while the first tabernacle was still standing.
Con esto el Espíritu Santo daba a entender que, mientras existía la primera parte del Tabernáculo, no se había abierto el camino hacia el Lugar Santísimo.
9 And this is a parable for the present time. Accordingly, those gifts and sacrifices that are offered are not able, as concerns the conscience, to make perfect those things that serve only as food and drink,
Esto es símbolo para el tiempo presente, según el cual se ofrecen ofrendas y sacrificios que no pueden perfeccionar [la] conciencia del que [los] ofrece,
10 as well as the various washings and justices of the flesh, which were imposed upon them until the time of correction.
que solo son comidas, bebidas, diversos lavamientos ceremoniales y ordenanzas externas que fueron impuestos hasta [el] tiempo del nuevo orden.
11 But Christ, standing as the High Priest of future good things, through a greater and more perfect tabernacle, one not made by hand, that is, not of this creation,
Pero cuando Cristo se presentó [como] Sumo Sacerdote de los bienes futuros, por medio del más grande y perfecto Tabernáculo no hecho por manos humanas, es decir, no de esta creación,
12 entered once into the Holy of Holies, having obtained eternal redemption, neither by the blood of goats, nor of calves, but by his own blood. (aiōnios g166)
ni por medio de sangre de machos cabríos y becerros, sino por medio de su propia sangre, después de obtener eterna redención, entró una vez por todas en el Lugar Santísimo. (aiōnios g166)
13 For if the blood of goats and oxen, and the ashes of a calf, when these are sprinkled, sanctify those who have been defiled, in order to cleanse the flesh,
Porque si la sangre de toros y machos cabríos y [la] ceniza de [la] becerra rociada a los impuros santifica para la purificación del cuerpo,
14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the Holy Spirit has offered himself, immaculate, to God, cleanse our conscience from dead works, in order to serve the living God? (aiōnios g166)
¡cuánto más la sangre de Cristo, Quien se ofreció Él mismo sin mancha a Dios por medio del Espíritu eterno, limpiará nuestra conciencia de obras muertas para servir al Dios vivo! (aiōnios g166)
15 And thus he is the Mediator of the new testament, so that, by his death, he intercedes for the redemption of those transgressions which were under the former testament, so that those who have been called may receive the promise of an eternal inheritance. (aiōnios g166)
Por esto es Mediador de un Nuevo Pacto, a fin de que al ocurrir [la] muerte para el perdón de las transgresiones que hubo en el primer Pacto, los llamados recibieran la promesa de la herencia eterna. (aiōnios g166)
16 For where there is a testament, it is necessary for the death of the one who testifies to intervene.
Porque donde hay un testamento es necesaria la muerte del testador.
17 For a testament is confirmed by death. Otherwise, it as yet has no force, as long as the one who testifies lives.
Porque un testamento es válido cuando interviene la muerte, puesto que no se pone en vigor mientras vive el testador.
18 Therefore, indeed, the first was not dedicated without blood.
Por tanto ni aun el primer [Pacto] fue instituido sin sangre.
19 For when every commandment of the law had been read by Moses to the entire people, he took up the blood of calves and goats, with water and with scarlet wool and hyssop, and he sprinkled both the book itself and the entire people,
Porque después que Moisés proclamó todo Mandamiento de la Ley a todo el pueblo, tomó la sangre de los becerros y agua, y roció el mismo rollo y a todo el pueblo con lana escarlata e hisopo.
20 saying: “This is the blood of the testament which God has commanded for you.”
Y dijo: Ésta es la sangre del Pacto que Dios les ordenó.
21 And even the tabernacle, and all the vessels for the ministry, he similarly sprinkled with blood.
De la misma manera roció con la sangre el Tabernáculo y todos los utensilios del ministerio.
22 And nearly everything, according to the law, is to be cleansed with blood. And without the shedding of blood, there is no remission.
Según la Ley, casi todo es purificado con sangre, y sin derramamiento de sangre no hay perdón de pecados.
23 Therefore, it is necessary for the examples of heavenly things to be cleansed, just as, indeed, these things were. Yet the heavenly things are themselves better sacrifices than these.
Por tanto fue necesario que las representaciones de las cosas que hay en los cielos fueran purificadas con estos ritos, pero las mismas cosas celestiales [son purificadas] con mejores sacrificios que éstos.
24 For Jesus did not enter by means of holy things made with hands, mere examples of the true things, but he entered into Heaven itself, so that he may appear now before the face of God for us.
Porque Cristo no entró en un Lugar Santísimo hecho por manos, representación del verdadero, sino en el mismo cielo para presentarse ahora ante Dios por nosotros.
25 And he did not enter so as to offer himself repeatedly, as the high priest enters into the Holy of Holies each year, with the blood of another.
Tampoco entró para ofrecerse muchas veces, como el sumo sacerdote entra en el Lugar Santísimo cada año con sangre ajena.
26 Otherwise, he would need to have suffered repeatedly since the beginning of the world. But now, one time, at the consummation of the ages, he has appeared in order to destroy sin though his own sacrifice. (aiōn g165)
De otra manera le hubiera sido necesario padecer muchas veces desde [la] fundación del mundo, pero ahora se presentó una vez por todas al fin de los siglos para remoción de pecado por medio del sacrificio de Él mismo. (aiōn g165)
27 And in the same manner as it has been appointed for men to die one time, and after this, to be judged,
De la manera como está establecido a los hombres que mueran una sola vez, y después de esto [el] juicio,
28 so also Christ was offered, one time, in order to empty the sins of so many. He shall appear a second time without sin, for those who await him, unto salvation.
así también Cristo fue ofrecido una sola vez para cargar [los ]pecados de muchos, y aparecerá por segunda vez sin relación con el pecado para salvar a los que lo esperan.
