Ezekiel 11
1 And the Spirit lifted me up, and he brought me to the east gate of the house of the Lord, which looks toward the rising of the sun. And behold, at the entrance to the gate were twenty-five men. And I saw, in their midst, Jaazaniah, the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah, the son of Benaiah, leaders of the people.
੧ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਫਾਟਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਹੈ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਸ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਬੂਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੱਚੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਅਜ਼ਨਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਬਨਾਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪਲਟਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਜੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਸਨ।
2 And he said to me: “Son of man, these are men who devise iniquity. And they offer a wicked counsel in this city,
੨ਉਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਇਹ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦੀ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਰੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
3 saying: ‘Was it so long ago that houses were being built? This city is a cooking pot, and we are the meat.’
੩ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਘਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਵੇਲਾ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਕੜਾਹਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਮਾਸ ਹਾਂ।
4 Therefore, prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.”
੪ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕਰ! ਹਾਂ, ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕਰ!
5 And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and he said to me: “Speak: Thus says the Lord: So have you spoken, O house of Israel. And I know the thoughts of your heart.
੫ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਉੱਤਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਖ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
6 You have killed very many in this city, and you have filled its streets with the slain.
੬ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਵੱਢਿਆ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
7 Because of this, thus says the Lord God: Your slain, whom you have placed in its midst, these are the meat, and this city is the cooking pot. And I will draw you out of its midst.
੭ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵੱਢੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਾਸ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਹੀ ਕੜਾਹਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢੇ ਜਾਓਗੇ।
8 You have dread the sword, and so I will lead the sword over you, says the Lord God.
੮ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ।
9 And I will cast you out of its midst, and I will give you over to the hand of the enemies, and I will execute judgments among you.
੯ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਾਂਗਾ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਦੇਸੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ।
10 You will fall by the sword. I will judge you within the borders of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord.
੧੦ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਵੋਗੇ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੋਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ!
11 This city will not be a cooking pot for you, and you will not be like meat in its midst. I will judge you within the borders of Israel.
੧੧ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਕੜਾਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਸ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ, ਸਗੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
12 And you shall know that I am the Lord. For you have not walked in my precepts, and you have not accomplished my judgments. Instead, you have acted in accord with the judgments of the Gentiles, who are all around you.”
੧੨ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਲਵੋਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਕਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਮਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ।
13 And it happened that, when I prophesied, Pelatiah, the son of Benaiah, died. And I fell upon my face, and I cried out with a loud voice, and I said: “Alas, alas, alas, O Lord God! Will you cause the consummation of the remnant of Israel?”
੧੩ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਬਨਾਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪਲਟਯਾਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ। ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਮੂਧੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹਾਏ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ! ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਬਚਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੁਕਾ ਦੇਵੇਂਗਾ?
14 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
੧੪ਤਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ
15 “Son of man, your brothers, the men among your close relatives, your brothers and the entire house of Israel, are all among those to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said: ‘Withdraw far from the Lord; the earth has been given to us as a possession.’
੧੫ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਤੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ, ਹਾਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਸਗੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨੂੰ, ਹਾਂ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਵੋ! ਇਹ ਦੇਸ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
16 Because of this, thus says the Lord God: Since I have caused them to be far away, among the Gentiles, and since I have dispersed them among the lands, I will be a little sanctuary for them within the lands to which they have gone.
੧੬ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਿਲਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿੱਥੇ-ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਥੋੜੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।
17 Because of this, say to them: Thus says the Lord God: I will gather you from among the peoples, and I will unite you, from the lands into which you were dispersed, and I will give the soil of Israel to you.
੧੭ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਉੱਮਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖਿੱਲਰ ਗਏ ਹੋ ਫੇਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਭੂਮੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
18 And they shall go to that place, and they shall remove all the offenses and all its abominations from that place.
੧੮ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਭੈੜੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਦੇਣਗੇ।
19 And I will give them one heart. And I will distribute a new spirit to their interior. And I will take away the heart of stone from their body. And I will give them a heart of flesh.
੧੯ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਲ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਵਾਂ ਆਤਮਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਪੱਥਰ ਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਸ ਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ,
20 So may they may walk in my precepts, and observe my judgments, and accomplish them. And so may they be my people, and I will be their God.
੨੦ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚੱਲਣ, ਮੇਰੇ ਕਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਮਲ ਕਰਨ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।
21 But as for those whose heart walks after their offenses and abominations, I will set their own way upon their head, says the Lord God.”
੨੧ਪਰ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
22 And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and the wheels with them. And the glory of the God of Israel was above them.
੨੨ਤਦ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਖੰਭ ਚੁੱਕੇ, ਪਹੀਏ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਚਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਤੇਜ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ।
23 And the glory of the Lord ascended from the midst of the city and stood above the mountain, which is to the east of the city.
੨੩ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਤੇਜ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਤਾਹਾਂ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਠਹਿਰ ਗਿਆ।
24 And the Spirit lifted me up, and he brought me into Chaldea, to those of the transmigration, in a vision, in the Spirit of God. And the vision that I had seen was raised up, away from me.
੨੪ਤਦ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਫੇਰ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਮੈਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਓਹਲੇ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
25 And I spoke, to those of the transmigration, all the words of the Lord that he had revealed to me.
੨੫ਮੈਂ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾਈਆਂ ਸਨ।
