Ephesians 2
1 And you were once dead in your sins and offenses,
അതിക്രമങ്ങളാലും പാപങ്ങളാലും മരിച്ചവരായിരുന്ന നിങ്ങളെയും അവൻ ഉയിൎപ്പിച്ചു.
2 in which you walked in times past, according to the age of this world, according to the prince of the power of this sky, the spirit who now works in the sons of distrust. (aiōn g165)
അവയിൽ നിങ്ങൾ മുമ്പെ ഈ ലോകത്തിന്റെ കാലഗതിയെയും ആകാശത്തിലെ അധികാരത്തിന്നും അനുസരണക്കേടിന്റെ മക്കളിൽ ഇപ്പോൾ വ്യാപരിക്കുന്ന ആത്മാവിന്നും അധിപതിയായവനെയും അനുസരിച്ചു നടന്നു. (aiōn g165)
3 And we too were all conversant in these things, in times past, by the desires of our flesh, acting according to the will of the flesh and according to our own thoughts. And so we were, by nature, sons of wrath, even like the others.
അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ നാം എല്ലാവരും മുമ്പെ നമ്മുടെ ജഡമോഹങ്ങളിൽ നടന്നു ജഡത്തിന്നും മനോവികാരങ്ങൾക്കും ഇഷ്ടമായതു ചെയ്തുംകൊണ്ടു മറ്റുള്ളവരെപ്പോലെ പ്രകൃതിയാൽ കോപത്തിന്റെ മക്കൾ ആയിരുന്നു.
4 Yet still, God, who is rich in mercy, for the sake of his exceedingly great charity with which he loved us,
കരുണാസമ്പന്നനായ ദൈവമോ നമ്മെ സ്നേഹിച്ച മഹാസ്നേഹംനിമിത്തം
5 even when we were dead in our sins, has enlivened us together in Christ, by whose grace you have been saved.
അതിക്രമങ്ങളാൽ മരിച്ചവരായിരുന്ന നമ്മെ ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുകൂടെ ജീവിപ്പിക്കയും — കൃപയാലത്രേ നിങ്ങൾ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു —
6 And he has raised us up together, and he has caused us to sit down together in the heavens, in Christ Jesus,
ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ അവനോടുകൂടെ ഉയിൎത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു സ്വൎഗ്ഗത്തിൽ ഇരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു,
7 so that he may display, in the ages soon to arrive, the abundant wealth of his grace, by his goodness toward us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn g165)
ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ നമ്മെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള വാത്സല്യത്തിൽ തന്റെ കൃപയുടെ അത്യന്തധനത്തെ വരും കാലങ്ങളിൽ കാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു. (aiōn g165)
8 For by grace, you have been saved through faith. And this is not of yourselves, for it is a gift of God.
കൃപയാലല്ലോ നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വാസംമൂലം രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതു; അതിന്നും നിങ്ങൾ കാരണമല്ല; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദാനമത്രേയാകുന്നു.
9 And this is not of works, so that no one may glory.
ആരും പ്രശംസിക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ പ്രവൃത്തികളും കാരണമല്ല.
10 For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for the good works which God has prepared and in which we should walk.
നാം അവന്റെ കൈപ്പണിയായി സൽപ്രവൎത്തികൾക്കായിട്ടു ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരാകുന്നു; നാം ചെയ്തുപോരേണ്ടതിന്നു ദൈവം അവ മുന്നൊരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
11 Because of this, be mindful that, in times past, you were Gentiles in the flesh, and that you were called uncircumcised by those who are called circumcised in the flesh, something done by man,
ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ മുമ്പെ പ്രകൃതിയാൽ ജാതികളായിരുന്നു; ജഡത്തിൽ കയ്യാലുള്ള പരിച്ഛേദന ഏറ്റു പരിച്ഛേദനക്കാർ എന്നു പേരുള്ളവരാൽ അഗ്രചൎമ്മക്കാർ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു;
12 and that you were, in that time, without Christ, being foreign to the way of life of Israel, being visitors to the testament, having no hope of the promise, and being without God in this world.
അക്കാലത്തു നിങ്ങൾ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ കൂടാതെയുള്ളവരും യിസ്രായേൽപൌരതയോടു സംബന്ധമില്ലാത്തവരും വാഗ്ദത്തത്തിന്റെ നിയമങ്ങൾക്കു അന്യരും പ്രത്യാശയില്ലാത്തവരും ലോകത്തിൽ ദൈവമില്ലാത്തവരും ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു ഓൎത്തുകൊൾവിൻ.
13 But now, in Christ Jesus, you, who were in times past far away, have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
മുമ്പെ ദൂരസ്ഥരായിരുന്ന നിങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോൾ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ രക്തത്താൽ സമീപസ്ഥരായിത്തീൎന്നു.
14 For he is our peace. He made the two into one, by dissolving the intermediate wall of separation, of opposition, by his flesh,
അവൻ നമ്മുടെ സമാധാനം; അവൻ ഇരുപക്ഷത്തെയും ഒന്നാക്കി, ചട്ടങ്ങളും കല്പനകളുമായ ന്യായപ്രമാണം എന്ന ശത്രുത്വം തന്റെ ജഡത്താൽ നീക്കി വേൎപ്പാടിന്റെ നടുച്ചുവർ ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതു
15 emptying the law of commandments by decree, so that he might join these two, in himself, into one new man, making peace
സമാധാനം ഉണ്ടാക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു ഇരുപക്ഷത്തെയും തന്നിൽ ഒരേ പുതുമനുഷ്യനാക്കി സൃഷ്ടിപ്പാനും
16 and reconciling both to God, in one body, through the cross, destroying this opposition in himself.
ക്രൂശിന്മേൽവെച്ചു ശത്രുത്വം ഇല്ലാതാക്കി അതിനാൽ ഇരുപക്ഷത്തെയും ഏകശരീരത്തിൽ ദൈവത്തോടു നിരപ്പിപ്പാനും തന്നേ.
17 And upon arriving, he evangelized peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near.
അവൻ വന്നു ദൂരത്തായിരുന്ന നിങ്ങൾക്കു സമാധാനവും സമീപത്തുള്ളവൎക്കു സമാധാനവും സുവിശേഷിച്ചു.
18 For by him, we both have access, in the one Spirit, to the Father.
അവൻമുഖാന്തരം നമുക്കു ഇരുപക്ഷക്കാൎക്കും ഏകാത്മാവിനാൽ പിതാവിങ്കലേക്കു പ്രവേശനം ഉണ്ടു.
19 Now, therefore, you are no longer visitors and new arrivals. Instead, you are citizens among the saints in the household of God,
ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ഇനി അന്യന്മാരും പരദേശികളുമല്ല വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ സഹപൌരന്മാരും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഭവനക്കാരുമത്രേ.
20 having been built upon the foundation of the Apostles and of the Prophets, with Jesus Christ himself as the preeminent cornerstone.
ക്രിസ്തുയേശു തന്നേ മൂലക്കല്ലായിരിക്കെ നിങ്ങളെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും എന്ന അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിന്മേൽ പണിതിരിക്കുന്നു.
21 In him, all that has been built is framed together, rising up into a holy temple in the Lord.
അവനിൽ കെട്ടിടം മുഴുവനും യുക്തമായി ചേൎന്നു കൎത്താവിൽ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരമായി വളരുന്നു.
22 In him, you also have been built together into a habitation of God in the Spirit.
അവനിൽ നിങ്ങളെയും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നിവാസമാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ആത്മാവിനാൽ ഒന്നിച്ചു പണിതുവരുന്നു.
