Daniel 12
1 “But at that time Michael will rise up, the great leader, who stands up for the sons of your people. And a time will come, such as has not been from the time that nations began, even until that time. And, at that time, your people will be saved, all who will be found written in the book.
Und zur selben Zeit wird dastehen der große Fürst Michael, der da steht für die Söhne deines Volkes, und wird sein eine Zeit der Drangsale, dergleichen nicht gewesen ist, seit Völkerschaften da sind bis auf selbige Zeit, und in jener Zeit wird dein Volk entrinnen, ein jeder, der in dem Buche sich geschrieben findet.
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will awaken: some to everlasting life, and others to a reproach that they will always see.
Und viele derer, die im Staub des Bodens schlafen, werden erwachen, etliche zum ewigen Leben und etliche zur Schmach und zu ewiger Abneigung.
3 But those who have taught will shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who instruct many towards justice, like the stars for unending eternity.
Die Verständigen aber werden glänzen wie der Glanz der Himmelsfeste, und die, so viele gerecht gemacht, wie die Sterne in Ewigkeit und immerdar.
4 But you, Daniel, close the message and seal the book, until the established time. Many will pass through, and knowledge will be increased.”
Du aber, Daniel, verschließe die Worte und versiegle das Buch bis zur Zeit des Endes; viele werden es dann durchlaufen und die Erkenntnis sich mehren.
5 And I, Daniel, looked, and behold, similarly two others stood up, one over here, on the bank of the river, and the other over there, on the other bank of the river.
Und ich, Daniel, sah, und siehe, zwei andere standen da, der eine auf diesem Ufer des Stromes und der andere auf jenem Ufer des Stromes.
6 And I said to the man, who was clothed in linen, who stood over the waters of the river, “How long will it be until the end of these wonders?”
Und er sprach zu dem Manne in Linnen gekleidet, der über den Wassern des Stromes war: Bis wann wird es ein Ende mit den Wundern?
7 And I heard the man, who was clothed in linen, who stood over the waters of the river, when he had lifted his right hand and his left hand up to heaven, and had sworn by He who lives forever, that it would be for a time, and times, and half a time. And when the dispersion of the hand of the holy people is completed, all these things will be completed.
Und ich hörte den Mann, der in Linnen gekleidet war, der über den Wassern des Stromes war, und er erhob seine Rechte und seine Linke zu den Himmeln, und schwur bei Dem, Der da lebt in Ewigkeit: daß es auf eine bestimmte Zeit, bestimmte Zeiten und eine halbe sein soll, und wenn die Zerstreuung der Hand des Volkes der Heiligkeit vollendet ist, wird alles dies vollendet werden.
8 And I heard and did not understand. And I said, “My lord, what will be after these things?”
Und ich hörte es und verstand es nicht, und sprach: Mein Herr, was wird das Letzte davon sein?
9 And he said, “Go, Daniel, for the words are closed and sealed until the predetermined time.
Und er sprach: Gehe hin, Daniel, denn die Worte sind verschlossen und versiegelt bis zur Zeit des Endes.
10 Many will be chosen and purified, and, as if by fire, they will be tested, and the impious will act impiously, and none of the impious will understand, yet the teachers will understand.
Viele werden sich säubern und weiß machen und läutern, und Ungerechte werden ungerecht handeln, und alle Ungerechten werden nicht aufmerken, aber die Verständigen werden aufmerken.
11 And from the time when the continual sacrifice will be taken away and the abomination of desolation will be set up, there will be one thousand two hundred ninety days.
Und von der Zeit an, wenn das Beständige abgetan und das verwüstende Scheusal eingesetzt wird, sind es tausendzweihundertneunzig Tage.
12 Blessed is he who waits and reaches until one thousand three hundred thirty-five days.
Selig, der da wartet und erreicht die tausenddreihundertfünfunddreißig Tage.
13 But you, go, until the predetermined time, and you will rest and will stand in your allotted place at the end of days.
Und du, gehe zum Ende und ruhe, und stehe zu deinem Lose bis zum Ende der Tage.
