< 2 Thessalonians 2 >
1 But we ask you, brothers, concerning the advent of our Lord Jesus Christ and of our gathering to him,
Toronoo nggare! Ia naa hai mae mifadꞌe hei soꞌal fai hiraꞌ hita Malanggan Yesus Kristus nema, ma taꞌo bee fo taꞌabꞌue too E.
2 that you not be readily disturbed or terrified in your minds, by any spirit, or word, or epistle, supposedly sent from us, claiming that the day of the Lord is close by.
Afiꞌ noꞌa mudꞌaꞌ hambu titipuꞌ do dadꞌi bingun mete ma hei rena atahori rafadꞌe rae Lamatuaꞌ nema ena. Mae ara olaꞌ rae, sira rahine mia Dula-daleꞌ a, do rena mia atahori, do, hambu susura mia hai e, afiꞌ mimihere se. Te basa naa ra, ombo koson!
3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For this cannot be, unless the apostasy will have arrived first, and the man of sin will have been revealed, the son of perdition,
Afiꞌ fee atahori ranggonggoa nggi. Atahori ia labꞌan nahere Lamatuaꞌ, losa atahori hetar o tungga labꞌan boe. Atahori ia memaꞌ seli tebꞌe! Naa de ana masoꞌ naraka o ndaa.
4 who is an adversary to, and who is lifted up above, all that is called God or that is worshipped, so much so that he sits in the temple of God, presenting himself as if he were God.
Ana nananaru ao na lenaꞌ basa lamatua raefafoꞌ, ma labꞌan basa saa fo atahori songgoꞌ ra. Sambe ana masoꞌ nisiꞌ Lamatuaꞌ Ume Hule-oꞌe Huun, ma toꞌo tendan oi, “Au ia, Lamatualain!”
5 Do you not recall that, when I was still with you, I told you these things?
Hei misinedꞌa do hokoꞌ? Maꞌahulun au ufadꞌe memaꞌ neu nggi atahori naa dalan ena, leleꞌ au feꞌe o hei, to?
6 And now you know what it is that holds him back, so that he may be revealed in his own time.
Leleꞌ ia, atahori deꞌulakaꞌ naa fain nda feꞌe losa fo natudꞌu ao na sa, huu hambu mana bꞌaa nala e. Hei o mihine saa mana bꞌaa nala e!
7 For the mystery of iniquity is already at work. And only one now holds back, and will continue to hold back, until he is taken from our midst.
Leleꞌ ia mana namueꞌ a feꞌe ue-tao naꞌafuniꞌ, huu hambu mana ba nala e. Te dei fo mana bꞌaaꞌ a, mboꞌi liman.
8 And then that iniquitous one shall be revealed, the one whom the Lord Jesus shall bring to ruin with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy at the brightness of his return:
Boe ma mana mamueꞌ a, sou nema ma ue-tao no relo-relo. Te nandaa no Lamatuaꞌ Yesus fai nenema manaseli Na, Ana tao nalutu atahori deꞌulakaꞌ naa noꞌ a dedꞌea-oꞌolaꞌ sa a.
9 him whose advent is accompanied by the works of Satan, with every kind of power and signs and false miracles,
Te leleꞌ Lamatuaꞌ Yesus nda feꞌe nema sa, nitu ra malangga monae na fee koasa neu atahori deꞌulakaꞌ naa, fo ana tao manadadꞌiꞌ mataꞌ-mataꞌ, sambe atahori ra duꞌa rae, ana tao nendiꞌ Lamatualain koasan.
10 and with every seduction of iniquity, toward those who are perishing because they have not accepted the love of truth, so that they may be saved.
No taꞌo naa, atahori hetar neneedꞌi nalaꞌ mia atahori deꞌulakaꞌ naa pepeko-lelekon. Dei fo, sira mana nenenggari hendiꞌ mia Lamatualain.
11 For this reason, God will send to them works of deception, so that they may believe in lies,
12 in order that all those who have not believed in the truth, but who have consented to iniquity, may be judged.
13 Yet we must always give thanks to God for you, brothers, beloved of God, because God has chosen you as first-fruits for salvation, by the sanctification of the Spirit and by faith in the truth.
Toronoo nggare! Hai moꞌe makasi mikindondoꞌ a neu Lamatualain, huu Ana sue nggi. Basa naa Ana fee Dula-dalen fo tao nameu nggi, huu mimihere saa fo matetuꞌ a. Dadꞌi hai moꞌe makasi mikindondoꞌ a neu Lamatualain o, naa nandaa.
14 He has also called you into truth through our Gospel, unto the acquisition of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Leleꞌ hai mifadꞌe Dudꞌui Maloleꞌ neu nggi, Lamatualain pake Dudꞌui Maloleꞌ naa fo noꞌe nggi, naa fo leleꞌ hita malanggan Yesus Kristus hambu hadꞌa-hormat, na hei o mimedꞌa mita hadꞌa-hormat naa boe.
15 And so, brothers, stand firm, and hold to the traditions that you have learned, whether by word or by our epistle.
Toronoo nggare! Miꞌitataaꞌ mikindoo no toꞌu malolole saa fo hai mifadꞌe neu nggiꞌ a. Misinedꞌa saa fo hai suraꞌ sia susura.
16 So may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who has loved us and who has given us an everlasting consolation and good hope in grace, (aiōnios )
Hai hule-oꞌe mikindooꞌ a neu Lamatualain, hita Aman, no Yesus Kristus, hita malanggan. Hai moꞌe fo Ara tao manggatee hei rala mara, fo hela hei tao basa dala maloleꞌ ra. Hai moꞌe taꞌo naa, huu hai bubꞌuluꞌ, Lamatuaꞌ sue naseliꞌ basa hita. No taꞌo naa hita tamahena takandoo neu E. (aiōnios )
17 exhort your hearts and confirm you in every good word and deed.
