2 Samuel 22
1 And David spoke to the Lord the words of this verse, in the day that the Lord freed him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul.
௧யெகோவா தாவீதை அவனுடைய எல்லா எதிரிகளின் கைக்கும், சவுலின் கைக்கும், விலக்கி விடுவித்தபோது, அவன் யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாகப் பாடின பாட்டு:
2 And he said: “The Lord is my rock, and my strength, and my Savior.
௨“யெகோவா என்னுடைய கன்மலையும், என்னுடைய கோட்டையும், என்னுடைய இரட்சகருமானவர்.
3 I will hope in him. God is my strong one, my shield, and the horn of my salvation. He lifts me up, and he is my refreshment. You, O my Savior, will free me from iniquity.
௩தேவன் நான் நம்பியிருக்கிற கன்மலையும், என்னுடைய கேடகமும், என்னுடைய பாதுகாப்பின் கொம்பும், என்னுடைய உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமும், என்னுடைய இருப்பிடமும், என்னுடைய இரட்சகருமானவர்; என்னைத் துன்பத்திற்கு விலக்கி இரட்சிக்கிறவர் அவரே.
4 I will call upon the Lord, who is praiseworthy; and I will be saved from my enemies.
௪துதிக்குக் காரணரான யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுவேன்; அதனால் என்னுடைய எதிரிகளுக்கு விலக்கி இரட்சிக்கப்படுவேன்.
5 For the pangs of death have encircled me. The torrents of Belial have terrified me.
௫மரண அலைகள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டு, பயனற்ற வெள்ளப்பெருக்கு என்னைப் பயப்படுத்தினது.
௬பாதாளக் கட்டுகள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்து கொண்டது; மரணக்கண்ணிகள் என்மேல் விழுந்தது. (Sheol h7585)
7 In my tribulation, I will call upon the Lord, and I will cry out to my God. And he will heed my voice from his temple, and my outcry will reach his ears.
௭எனக்கு உண்டான நெருக்கத்திலே யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டு, என்னுடைய தேவனை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன்; தமது ஆலயத்திலிருந்து என்னுடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டார்; என்னுடைய கூப்பிடுதல் அவர் செவிகளில் விழுந்தது.
8 The earth was shaken, and it quaked. The foundations of the mountains were struck together and violently shaken, because he was angry with them.
௮அப்பொழுது பூமி அசைந்து அதிர்ந்தது; அவர் கோபங்கொண்டதால் வானத்தின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் குலுங்கி அசைந்தது.
9 Smoke ascends from his nostrils, and fire from his mouth will devour; coals have been kindled by it.
௯அவர் நாசியிலிருந்து புகை வந்தது, அவர் வாயிலிருந்து ஒளிவீசும் அக்கினி புறப்பட்டது, அதனால் தீப்பற்றிக்கொண்டது.
10 He bent down the heavens, and it descended; and a fog was beneath his feet.
௧0வானங்களைத் தாழ்த்தி இறங்கினார்; அவர் பாதங்களின்கீழ் காரிருள் இருந்தது.
11 And he climbed upon the cherubim, and he flew; and he slid upon the wings of the wind.
௧௧கேருபீனின்மேல் ஏறி வேகமாகப் பறந்து சென்றார். காற்றின் இறக்கைகளின்மேல் காட்சியளித்தார்.
12 He set darkness as a hiding place around himself, with waters sifted from the clouds of the heavens.
௧௨வானத்து மேகங்களில் கூடிய தண்ணீர்களின் இருளைத் தம்மைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கும் கூடாரமாக்கினார்.
13 By means of the brightness of his glance, coals of fire were kindled.
௧௩அவருக்கு முன்பாக இருந்த மின்னலினால் நெருப்புத்தழலும் எரிந்தது.
14 The Lord will thunder from heaven; and the Most High will utter his voice.
௧௪யெகோவா வானத்திலிருந்து இடியைப்போல முழங்கி, சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவன் தமது சத்தத்தைத் தொனிக்கச் செய்தார்.
15 He shot arrows, and he scattered them; lightning, and he consumed them.
௧௫அவர் அம்புகளை எய்து, அவர்களைச் சிதறடித்து, மின்னல்களை உபயோகித்து, அவர்களைச் சிதறடித்தார்.
16 And the overflow of the sea appeared, and the foundations of the globe were revealed, at the rebuke of the Lord, at the exhale of the breath of his fury.
௧௬யெகோவாவுடைய கடிந்துகொள்ளுதலினாலும், அவருடைய நாசியின் சுவாசக் காற்றினாலும் சமுத்திரத்தின் மதகுகள் திறக்கப்பட்டு, பூமியின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் காணப்பட்டது.
17 He sent from on high, and he took me up. And he drew me out of many waters.
௧௭உயரத்திலிருந்து அவர் கை நீட்டி, என்னைப் பிடித்து, வெள்ளப்பெருக்கில் இருக்கிற என்னைத் தூக்கிவிட்டார்.
18 He freed me from my most powerful enemy and from those who had hated me. For they were too strong for me.
௧௮என்னைவிட பெலவானாக இருந்த என்னுடைய எதிரிக்கும் என்னுடைய விரோதிகளுக்கும் என்னை விடுவித்தார்.
19 He went before me in the day of my affliction, and the Lord became my firmament.
௧௯என்னுடைய ஆபத்து நாளிலே எனக்கு எதிராக வந்தார்கள்; யெகோவாவோ எனக்கு ஆதரவாக இருந்தார்.
20 And he led me out to a wide-open place. He freed me, because I was pleasing to him.
௨0என்மேல் அவர் பிரியமாக இருந்தபடியால், என்னைத் தப்புவித்தார்.
21 The Lord will reward me according to my justice. And he will repay me according to the cleanness of my hands.
௨௧யெகோவா என்னுடைய நீதிக்குத்தகுந்தபடி எனக்கு பதில் அளித்தார்; என்னுடைய கைகளின் சுத்தத்திற்குத்தகுந்தபடி எனக்குச் சரிக்கட்டினார்.
22 For I have kept to the ways of the Lord, and I have not acted impiously before my God.
௨௨யெகோவாவுடைய வழிகளைக் காத்துக்கொண்டுவந்தேன்; நான் என்னுடைய தேவனுக்குத் துரோகம் செய்ததில்லை.
23 For all his judgments are in my sight. And I have not removed his precepts from me.
௨௩அவருடைய நியாயங்களையெல்லாம் எனக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்தினேன்; நான் அவருடைய கட்டளைகளைவிட்டு விலகாமல்,
24 And I shall be perfect with him. And I shall guard myself from my own iniquity.
௨௪அவருக்கு முன்பாக மன உண்மையாக இருந்து, பாவத்திற்கு என்னை விலக்கிக் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்.
25 And the Lord will recompense me according to my justice, and according to the cleanness of my hands in the sight of his eyes.
௨௫ஆகையால் யெகோவா என்னுடைய நீதிக்குத் தகுந்தபடியும், தம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிற என்னுடைய சுத்தத்திற்குத்தகுந்தபடியும் எனக்கு பலனளித்தார்.
26 With the holy one, you will be holy, and with the strong one, you will be perfect.
௨௬தயவுள்ளவனுக்கு நீர் தயவுள்ளவராகவும், உத்தமனுக்கு நீர் உத்தமராகவும்,
27 With the elect one, you will be elect, and with the perverse one, you will be perverse.
௨௭புனிதனுக்கு நீர் புனிதராகவும், மாறுபாடு உள்ளவர்களுக்கு நீர் மாறுபடுகிறவராகவும் தோன்றுவீர்.
28 And you will bring to salvation the poor people, and you will humble the exalted with your eyes.
௨௮சிறுமைப்பட்ட மக்களை இரட்சிப்பீர்; பெருமையுள்ளவர்களைத் தாழ்த்த, உம்முடைய கண்கள் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாகத் திருப்பப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
29 For you are my lamp, O Lord. And you, O Lord, will illuminate my darkness.
௨௯கர்த்தராகிய தேவரீர் என்னுடைய விளக்காக இருக்கிறீர்; யெகோவா என்னுடைய இருளை வெளிச்சமாக்குகிறவர்.
30 For in you, I will run girded. In my God, I will leap over the wall.
௩0உம்மாலே நான் ஒரு சேனைக்குள் பாய்ந்துபோவேன்; என்னுடைய தேவனாலே ஒரு மதிலைத் தாண்டுவேன்.
31 God, his way is immaculate; the eloquence of the Lord is an exacting fire. He is the shield of all who hope in him.
௩௧தேவனுடைய வழி உத்தமமானது; யெகோவாவுடைய வசனம் சுத்தமானது; தம்மை நம்புகிற அனைவருக்கும் அவர் கேடகமாக இருக்கிறார்.
32 Who is God except the Lord? And who is strong except our God?
௩௨யெகோவாவைத் தவிர தேவன் யார்? நம்முடைய தேவனையன்றி கன்மலையும் யார்?
33 God, he has girded me with fortitude, and he has made my way perfect:
௩௩தேவன் எனக்குப் பெலத்த அரணானவர்; அவர் என்னுடைய வழியைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துகிறவர்.
34 making my feet like the feet of the stag, and stationing me upon my exalted places,
௩௪அவர் என்னுடைய கால்களை மான்களுடைய கால்களைப்போல மாற்றி, உயர்ந்த மலைகளில் என்னை நிறுத்துகிறார்.
35 teaching my hands to do battle, and making my arms like a bow of brass.
௩௫வெண்கல வில்லும் என்னுடைய கரங்களால் வளையும்படி, என்னுடைய கைகளை யுத்தத்திற்குப்.
36 You have given me the shield of your salvation. And your mildness has multiplied me.
௩௬உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பின் கேடகத்தையும் எனக்குத் தந்தீர்; உம்முடைய தயவு என்னைப் பெரியவனாக்கும்.
37 You will enlarge my steps under me, and my ankles will not fail.
௩௭என்னுடைய கால்கள் வழுக்காதபடி நான் நடக்கிற வழியை அகலமாக்கினீர்.
38 I will pursue my enemies, and crush them. And I will not turn back, until I consume them.
௩௮என்னுடைய எதிரிகளைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து அவர்களை அழிப்பேன்; அவர்களை அழிக்கும்வரைக்கும் திரும்பமாட்டேன்.
39 I will consume them and break them apart, so that they cannot rise up; they will fall under my feet.
௩௯அவர்கள் எழுந்திருக்கமுடியாதபடி என்னுடைய பாதங்களின்கீழ் விழுந்தார்கள்; அவர்களை முறியடித்து வெட்டினேன்.
40 You have girded me with strength for the battle. Those who resisted me, you have bent down under me.
௪0யுத்தத்திற்கு நீர் என்னை பெலத்தால் இடைகட்டி, என்மேல் எழும்பினவர்களை என்கீழ் விழும்படிச் செய்தீர்.
41 You have caused my enemies to turn their back to me; they have hatred for me, and I shall destroy them.
௪௧நான் என்னுடைய விரோதியை அழிக்கும்படி, என்னுடைய எதிரிகளின் பிடரியை எனக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தீர்.
42 They will cry out, and there will be no one to save; to the Lord, and he will not heed them.
௪௨அவர்கள் நோக்கிப் பார்க்கிறார்கள், அவர்களை இரட்சிப்பவர்கள் ஒருவருமில்லை; யெகோவாவை நோக்கிப் பார்க்கிறார்கள், அவர்களுக்கு அவர் பதில் கொடுக்கிறதில்லை.
43 I will wipe them away like the dust of the earth. I will break them apart and crush them, like the mud of the streets.
௪௩அவர்களை பூமியின் தூளாக இடித்து, தெருக்களின் சேற்றைப்போல அவர்களை மிதித்து சிதறச்செய்கிறேன்.
44 You will save me from the contradictions of my people. You will preserve me to be the head of the Gentiles; a people I do not know shall serve me.
௪௪என்னுடைய மக்களின் சண்டைகளுக்கு நீர் என்னை விலக்கிவிட்டு, தேசங்களுக்கு என்னைத் தலைவனாக வைக்கிறீர்; நான் அறியாத மக்கள் என்னைப் பணிகிறார்கள்.
45 The sons of foreigners, who will resist me, at the hearing of the ear they will be obedient to me.
௪௫அந்நியர்கள் எனக்கு எதிராகப் பேசி அடங்கி, என்னுடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டவுடனே எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறார்கள்.
46 The foreigners flowed away, but they will be drawn together in their anguishes.
௪௬அந்நியர்கள் பயந்துபோய், தங்கள் கோட்டைகளிலிருந்து பயத்தோடு புறப்படுகிறார்கள்.
47 The Lord lives, and my God is blessed. And the strong God of my salvation shall be exalted.
௪௭யெகோவா ஜீவனுள்ளவர்; என்னுடைய கன்மலையானவர் ஸ்தோத்தரிக்கப்படுவாராக; என்னுடைய இரட்சிப்பின் கன்மலையான தேவன் உயர்ந்திருப்பாராக.
48 God gives me vindication, and he casts down the peoples under me.
௪௮அவர் எனக்காகப் பழிக்குப் பழி வாங்கி, மக்களை எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்துகிற தேவனானவர்.
49 He leads me away from my enemies, and he lifts me up from those who resist me. You will free me from the iniquitous man.
௪௯அவரே என்னுடைய எதிரிகளுக்கு என்னை விலக்கி விடுவிக்கிறவர்; எனக்கு விரோதமாக எழும்புகிறவர்கள்மேல் என்னை உயர்த்திக் கொடுமையான மனிதனுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவிக்கிறீர்.
50 Because of this, I will confess to you, O Lord, among the Gentiles, and I will sing to your name:
௫0இதனால் யெகோவாவே, தேசங்களுக்குள் உம்மைத் துதித்து, உம்முடைய நாமத்திற்கு துதிப் பாடல்கள் பாடுவேன்.
51 magnifying the salvation of his king, and showing mercy to David, his Christ, and to his offspring forever.”
௫௧தாம் ஏற்படுத்தின ராஜாவுக்கு மகத்தான இரட்சிப்பை அளித்து, தாம் அபிஷேகம்செய்த தாவீதுக்கும் அவனுடைய சந்ததிக்கும் என்றென்றும் கிருபை செய்கிறார்.”
