2 Corinthians 13

1 Behold, this is the third time that I am coming to you. By the mouth of two or three witnesses, every word shall stand.

ये तीसरी बार मैं तुम्हारे पास आता हूँ। दो या तीन गवाहों कि ज़बान से हर एक बात साबित हो जाएगी।

2 I have preached when present, and I will preach now while absent, to those who sinned before, and to all the others, because, when I arrive again, I will not be lenient with you.

जैसे मैंने जब दूसरी दफ़ा हाज़िर था तो पहले से कह दिया था, वैसे ही अब ग़ैर हाज़िरी में भी उन लोगों से जिन्होंने पहले गुनाह किए हैं और सब लोगों से, पहले से कहे देता हूँ कि अगर फिर आऊँगा तो दर गुज़र न करूँगा।

3 Do you seek evidence that it is Christ who speaks in me, who is not weak with you, but is powerful with you?

क्यूँकि तुम इसकी दलील चाहते हो कि मसीह मुझ में बोलता हैं, और वो तुम्हारे लिए कमज़ोर नहीं बल्कि तुम में ताक़तवर है।

4 For although he was crucified in weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. And yes, we are weak in him. But we shall live with him by the power of God among you.

हाँ, वो कमज़ोरी की वजह से मस्लूब किया गया, लेकिन ख़ुदा की क़ुदरत की वजह से ज़िन्दा है; और हम भी उसमें कमज़ोर तो हैं, मगर उसके साथ ख़ुदा कि उस क़ुदरत कि वजह से ज़िन्दा होंगे जो तुम्हारे लिए है।

5 Test yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Examine yourselves. Or do you yourselves not know whether Christ Jesus is in you? But perhaps you are reprobates.

तुम अपने आप को आज़माओ कि ईमान पर हो या नहीं। अपने आप को जाँचो तुम अपने बारे में ये नहीं जानते हो कि ईसा मसीह तुम में है? वर्ना तुम नामक़बूल हो।

6 But I hope you know that we ourselves are not reprobates.

लेकिन मैं उम्मीद करता हूँ कि तुम मा'लूम कर लोगे कि हम तो नामक़बूल नहीं।

7 Now we pray to God that you shall do nothing evil, not so that we may seem to be approved, but so that you may do what is good, even if we seem like reprobates.

हम ख़ुदा से दुआ करते हैं कि तुम कुछ बदी न करो ना इस वास्ते कि हम मक़बूल मालूम हों' बल्कि इस वास्ते कि तुम नेकी करो चाहे हम नामक़बूल ही ठहरें।

8 For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth.

क्यूँकि हम हक़ के बारख़िलाफ़ कुछ नहीं कर सकते, मगर सिर्फ़ हक़ के लिए कर सकते हैं।

9 For we rejoice that we are weak, while you are strong. This is also what we pray for: your perfection.

जब हम कमज़ोर हैं और तुम ताक़तवर हो, तो हम ख़ुश हैं और ये दुआ भी करते हैं कि तुम कामिल बनो।

10 Therefore, I write these things while absent, so that, when present, I may not have to act more harshly, according to the authority which the Lord has given to me, for edification and not for destruction.

इसलिए मैं ग़ैर हाज़िरी में ये बातें लिखता हूँ ताकि हाज़िर होकर मुझे उस इख़्तियार के मुवाफ़िक़ सख़्ती न करना पड़े जो ख़ुदावन्द ने मुझे बनाने के लिए दिया है न कि बिगाड़ने के लिए।

11 As to the rest, brothers, rejoice, be perfect, be encouraged, have the same mind, have peace. And so the God of peace and love will be with you.

ग़रज़ ऐ भाइयों! ख़ुश रहो, कामिल बनो, इत्मीनान रख्खो, यकदिल रहो, मेल — मिलाप रख्खो तो ख़ुदा, मुहब्बत और मेल — मिलाप का चश्मा तुम्हारे साथ होगा।

12 Greet one another with a holy kiss.

आपस में पाक बोसा लेकर सलाम करो।

13 All the saints greet you.

सब मुक़द्दस लोग तुम को सलाम कहते हैं।

14 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the charity of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

खुदावदं येसू मसीह का फज़्ल और खुदा की मौहब्बत और रूहुलकुद्‍दूस की शिराकत तुम सब के साथ होती रहे।
