< 1 Peter 2 >

1 Therefore, set aside all malice and all deceitfulness, as well as falseness and envy and every detraction.
Luloza mambu moso ma ngianza ayi luvunu; mayuya, kikhenene ayi tubidila badieno ku ndambu.
2 Like newborn infants, desire the milk of reasonableness without guile, so that by this you may increase unto salvation,
Banga bana batsombi, bika lumona phuila yi miliki mikambu sobokoso ayi mi kipheve, muingi lubaka buyundukila mu diambu di miliki beni mu diambu tambula phulusu,
3 if it is true that you have tasted that the Lord is sweet.
bu lubimba ti Pfumu widi wu mboti.
4 And approaching him as if he were a living stone, rejected by men, certainly, but elect and honored by God,
Bika lufikama vadi niandi, niandi ditadi di moyo diloza batu, vayi disobolo kuidi Nzambi ayi didi di mfunu kuidi Nzambi.
5 be also yourselves like living stones, built upon him, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, so as to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
Diawu beno mamveno luidi matadi ma moyo, bika lutungu mu diambu di vanga nzo yi kipheve ayi mu diambu lukubika dikabu di banganga Nzambi zivedila. Banganga Nzambi bakubuku mu diambu di tambikanga makaba ma kipheve momo mammonisa Nzambi khini mu nzila yi Yesu Klisto.
6 Because of this, Scripture asserts: “Behold, I am setting in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious. And whoever will have believed in him will not be confounded.”
Bila tala mambu masonama mu masonuku: Minu thudidi ditadi di mfunu, di fuma ki nzo ditadi disobolo ayi di thalu; woso wukudiwilukila kalendi fua tsoni ko.
7 Therefore, to you who believe, he is honor. But to those who do not believe, the stone which the builders have rejected, the same has been made into the head of the corner,
Nyinga, mfunu wuwombo didi kuidi beno lueti wilukila vayi kuidibobo kaba wilukilanga ko: Ditadi diodi mintungi miloza dikitukidi ditadi di mfunu, ditadi di fuma ki nzo.
8 and a stone of offense, and a rock of scandal, to those who are offended by the Word; neither do they believe, though they also have been built upon him.
Batu balembo bumina thutu va ditadi beni ayi dilembo buisi batu. Bila bamanga wilukila mambu ma Nzambi diawu balembo buminina thutu. Bumina thutu ayi bua mawu mambu bakubukulu.
9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, an acquired people, so that you may announce the virtues of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Vayi beno luidi nkuna wu batu basobolo, dikabu di banganga Nzambi, dikanda dinlongo; batu bobo Nzambi kavuidi mu diambu lusamuna mavangamutu wowo wulutela bu luba mu tombi muingi luiza ku kiezila kiandi kimboti.
10 Though in past times you were not a people, yet now you are the people of God. Though you had not obtained mercy, yet now you have obtained mercy.
Bila mu thama beno lusia ba batu bandi ko vayi buabu luyikidi batu ba Nzambi; mu thama lusia ba ku tsi nlemvo ko vayi buabu ku tsi nlemvo lueka.
11 Most beloved, I beg you, as new arrivals and sojourners, to abstain from carnal desires, which battle against the soul.
Bakundi bama ba luzolo, luidi banzenza ayi minkibi va nza yayi; diawu ndikululeba mu tina zinzinunu zi nsuni, zinnuanisanga muela.
12 Keep your behavior among the Gentiles to what is good, so that, when they slander you as if you were evildoers, they may, by the good works that are seen in you, glorify God on the day of visitation.
Bika khaduluꞌeno va khatitsika Bapakanu yiba yimboti mu diambu divovo balembo kulutubidila banga ti luidi batu bambimbi, bamona mavangameno mamboti ayi bela kembisa Nzambi mu thangu kela kuiza.
13 Therefore, be subject to every human creature because of God, whether it is to the king as preeminent,
Mu diambu di luzolo mu Pfumu, bika luba bulemvo kuidi babo beti yala: kuidi ntinu, pfumu yitheti mu luvalu.
14 or to leaders as having been sent from him for vindication over evildoers, it is truly for the praise of what is good.
Kuidi baguvelenele, bobo ntinu keti tuma mu diambu di vanangathumbudulu kuidi minyadi, batu bobo bamvanganga mbimbi ayi mu diambu di niemisanga bobo bamvanganga mamboti.
15 For such is the will of God, that by doing good you may bring about the silence of imprudent and ignorant men,
Bila tala buididi luzolo lu Nzambi: bika luvanga mamboti muingimiunu mi batu bakambulu diela mizibama.
16 in an open manner, and not as if cloaking malice with liberty, but like servants of God.
Bika luba batu badi mu kiphuanza vayi kiphuanza beni kibikaba banga yunga mu diambu di fuka mambimbi; vayi bika luba bangabisadi bi Nzambi.
17 Honor everyone. Love brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
Lukinzikanga batu boso. Luzola bakhomba zieno mu minu; “lukinzikanga Nzambi ayi luzitisanga ntinu.”
18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and meek, but also to the unruly.
A beno bisadi, bika luba bulemvo kuidi bapfumu zieno mu lukinzu loso, bika sia kaka kuidi bapfumu badi mboti ayi balembama vayi ayi kuidi bapfumu bambimbi.
19 For this is grace: when, because of God, a man willingly endures sorrows, suffering injustice.
Bila didi diambu di mfunu, enati mutu wulembo vibidila ziphasi bu betikummonisa ziphasi mu kambu bila mu diambu di Nzambi.
20 For what glory is there, if you sin and then suffer a beating? But if you do well and suffer patiently, this is grace with God.
Bila nkembo mbi luela tambula enati luvibididi bu balubetidi mu mambimbi ma luvengi e? Vayi enati lummona ziphasi bu luvengi mamboti ayi luvibididi; buna diodi didi diambu di mfunu va meso ma Nzambi.
21 For you have been called to this because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, so that you would follow in his footsteps.
Mu bila kioki beno lutedolo mbila bila Klisto wumona ziphasimu diambu dieno. Niandi wulubikila kifuani muingi lulandakana zithambi ziandi.
22 He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth.
Kasia vola masumu ko, kasia tuba luvunu ko.
23 And when evil was spoken against him, he did not speak evil. When he suffered, he did not threaten. Then he handed himself over to him who judged him unjustly.
Bu kafingu, niandi kasia vutula mu finga ko; bu kamonoso ziphasi, niandi kasia temina ko vayi wutumbu kiyekula kuidi zuzi di busonga.
24 He himself bore our sins in his body upon the tree, so that we, having died to sin, would live for justice. By his wounds, you have been healed.
Niandi wunata masumu meto mu nituꞌandi va dikulusi, muingi ka diambu ko tufuidi mu masumu, tuzinga luzingu lusonga. Bila mu ziphuta ziandi lubelukila.
25 For you were like wandering sheep. But now you have been turned back toward the Pastor and the Bishop of your souls.
Bila luba banga mameme mazimbala vayi buabu luvutukidi kuidi mvungi ayi nsungi wu miela mieno.
