1 Adam, Seth, Enos,

౧ఆదాము కొడుకు షేతు. షేతు కొడుకు ఎనోషు.

2 Cainan, Mahalalel, Jared,

౨ఎనోషు కొడుకు కేయినాను. కేయినాను కొడుకు మహలలేలు. మహలలేలు కొడుకు యెరెదు.

3 Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech,

౩యెరెదు కొడుకు హనోకు. హనోకు కొడుకు మెతూషెల. మెతూషెల కొడుకు లెమెకు.

4 Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

౪లెమెకు కొడుకు నోవహు. నోవహు కొడుకులు షేము, హాము, యాపెతు.

5 The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, Tubal, Meshech, Tiras.

౫యాపెతు కొడుకులు వీళ్ళు: గోమెరు, మాగోగు, మాదయి, యావాను, తుబాలు, మెషెకు, తీరసు.

6 And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

౬గోమెరు కొడుకులు అష్కనజు, రీఫతు, తోగర్మా అనే వాళ్ళు.

7 And the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Rodanim.

౭యావాను కొడుకులు ఎలీషా, తర్షీషు, కిత్తీము, దోదానీము.

8 The sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.

౮హాము కొడుకులు ఎవరంటే, కూషు, మిస్రాయిము, పూతు, కనాను అనే వాళ్ళు.

9 And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dadan.

౯కూషు కొడుకులు వీళ్ళు: సెబా, హవీలా, సబ్తా, రాయమా, సబ్తకా. ఇక రాయమా కొడుకులు షెబా, దదాను అనే వాళ్ళు.

10 Then Cush conceived Nimrod, and he began to be powerful upon the earth.

౧౦కూషుకు నిమ్రోదు పుట్టాడు. ఈ నిమ్రోదు భూమి మీద మొదటి విజేత.

11 Truly, Mizraim conceived Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

౧౧ఇక మిస్రాయిము లూదీయులు, అనామీయులు, లెహాబీయులు, నప్తుహీయులు,

12 as well as Pathrusim and Casluhim: from these the Philistines and the Caphtorim went forth.

౧౨పత్రుసీయులు అనే జాతులకు తండ్రి. ఫిలిష్తీయుల వంశకర్తలైన కస్లూహీయులూ కఫ్తోరీయులూ కూడా మిస్రాయిము సంతతివారే.

13 Truly, Canaan conceived Sidon, his firstborn, as well as the Hittite,

౧౩కనానుకు మొదటగా సీదోను పుట్టాడు. తరువాత హేతు పుట్టాడు.

14 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

౧౪ఇతడు యెబూసీయులు, అమోరీయులు, గిర్గాషీయులు,

15 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

౧౫హివ్వీయులు, అర్కీయులు, సీనీయులు

16 and also the Arvadian, and the Samarite, and the Hamathite.

౧౬అర్వాదీయులు, సెమారీయులు, హమాతీయులు అనే జాతులకు మూలపురుషుడు కూడా.

17 The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

౧౭షేము కొడుకులు ఏలాము, అష్షూరు, అర్పక్షదు, లూదు, అరాము, ఊజు, హూలు, గెతెరు, మెషెకు అనే వాళ్ళు.

18 Then Arphaxad conceived Shelah, who also himself conceived Eber.

౧౮అర్పక్షదుకు షేలహు పుట్టాడు. షేలహుకు ఏబెరు పుట్టాడు.

19 And to Eber were born two sons. The name of one was Peleg, because in his days the earth was divided. And the name of his brother was Joktan.

౧౯ఏబెరుకు ఇద్దరు కొడుకులు పుట్టారు. వాళ్ళలో పెలెగు అనేవాడి రోజుల్లో ప్రాంతాలుగా భూమి విభజన జరిగింది. అందుకే అతనికి ఆ పేరు వచ్చింది. అతని సోదరుడి పేరు యొక్తాను.

20 Then Joktan conceived Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

౨౦యొక్తానుకు అల్మోదాదు, షెలపు, హసర్మావెతు, యెరహు,

21 as well as Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

౨౧హదోరము, ఊజాలు, దిక్లాను,

22 and then Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba, indeed

౨౨ఏబాలు, అబీమాయేలు, షేబా,

23 also Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these are the sons of Joktan.

౨౩ఓఫీరు, హవీలా, యోబాలు పుట్టారు.

24 Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

౨౪షేముకు అర్పక్షదు, అర్పక్షదుకు షేలహు, షేలహుకు ఏబెరు,

25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,

౨౫ఏబెరుకు పెలెగు, పెలెగుకు రయూ,

26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,

౨౬రయూకు సెరూగు, సెరూగుకు నాహోరు, నాహోరుకు తెరహు,

27 Abram, the same is Abraham.

౨౭తెరహుకు అబ్రాహాము అనే పేరు పెట్టిన అబ్రామూ పుట్టారు.

28 And the sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.

౨౮అబ్రాహాము కొడుకులు ఇస్సాకు, ఇష్మాయేలులు.

29 And these are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth, and then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

౨౯వీళ్ళ సంతానం వివరాలు ఇవి. ఇష్మాయేలు పెద్దకొడుకు నెబాయోతు. ఇతని తరువాత పుట్టిన వాళ్ళు, కేదారు, అద్బయేలు, మిబ్శామూ,

30 and Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,

౩౦మిష్మా, దూమా, మశ్శా, హదదు, తేమా,

31 Jetur, Naphish, Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.

౩౧యెతూరు, నాపీషు, కెదెమా. వీళ్ళు ఇష్మాయేలు కొడుకులు.

32 And the sons of Keturah, the concubine of Abraham, whom she conceived: Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan: Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.

౩౨అబ్రాహాము ఉంపుడుకత్తె అయిన కెతూరాకు పుట్టిన కొడుకులు వీళ్ళు: జిమ్రాను, యొక్షాను, మెదాను, మిద్యాను, ఇష్బాకూ, షూవహు. వీళ్ళలో యొక్షానుకు షేబా, దదానూ అనే కొడుకులు పుట్టారు.

33 And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.

౩౩మిద్యాను కొడుకులు ఎవరంటే ఏయిఫా, ఏఫెరు, హనోకు, అబీదా, ఎల్దాయా. వీళ్ళంతా కెతూరా సంతానం.

34 Now Abraham conceived Isaac, whose sons were Esau and Israel.

౩౪అబ్రాహాముకు ఇస్సాకు పుట్టాడు. ఇస్సాకు కొడుకులు ఏశావు, యాకోబు.

35 The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.

౩౫ఏశావు కొడుకులు ఎవరంటే ఏలీఫజు, రెయూవేలు, యెయూషు, యాలాము, కోరహు అనే వాళ్ళు.

36 The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, Kenez, and by Timna, Amalek.

౩౬వీళ్ళలో ఎలీఫజు కొడుకులు తేమాను, ఓమారు, సెపో, గాతాము, కనజు, తిమ్నా అమాలేకు అనేవాళ్ళు.

37 The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, Mizzah.

౩౭రెయూవేలు కొడుకులు నహతు, జెరహు, షమ్మా, మిజ్జా.

38 The sons of Seir: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, Dishan.

౩౮శేయీరు కొడుకులు, లోతాను, శోబాలు, సిబ్యోను, అనా, దిషోను, ఏసెరు, దిషాను.

39 The sons of Lotan: Hori, Heman. Now the sister of Lotan was Timna.

౩౯లోతాను కొడుకులు, హోరీ, హోమాములు. లోతాను సోదరి పేరు తిమ్నా.

40 The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. The sons of Anah: Dishon.

౪౦శోబాలు కొడుకులు అల్వాను, మనహతు, ఏబాలు, షెపో, ఓనాము. సిబ్యోను కొడుకులు అయ్యా, అనా.

41 The sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Esheban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

౪౧అనా కొడుకు పేరు దిషోను. దిషోను కొడుకులు హమ్రాను, ఎష్బాను, ఇత్రాను, కెరాను.

42 The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan. The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

౪౨ఏసెరు కొడుకులు బిల్హాను, జవాను, యహకాను. దిషాను కొడుకులు ఊజు, అరాను.

43 Now these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before there was a king over the sons of Israel: Bela, the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

౪౩ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను ఏ రాజూ పరిపాలించక ముందే ఏదోం దేశంలో ఈ రాజులు పరిపాలించారు. బెయోరు కొడుకు బెల. అతని పట్టణం పేరు దిన్హాబా.

44 Then Bela died, and Jobab, the son of Zerah, from Bozrah, reigned in his place.

౪౪బెల చనిపోయిన తరువాత అతని స్థానంలో యోబాబు అనేవాడు రాజు అయ్యాడు. ఇతడు బొస్రా అనే ఊరికి చెందిన జెరహు కొడుకు.

45 And when Jobab also had died, Husham, from the land of the Temanites, reigned in his place.

౪౫యోబాబు చనిపోయిన తరువాత అతని స్థానంలో తేమాను ప్రాంతం వాడయిన హుషాము రాజు అయ్యాడు.

46 Then Husham also passed away, and Hadad, the son of Bedad, reigned in his place. And he struck the Midianites in the land of Moab. The name of his city was Avith.

౪౬హుషాము చనిపోయిన తరువాత మోయాబు దేశంలో మిద్యానీయులను ఓడించిన వాడూ, బెదెదు కొడుకూ అయిన హదదు అతని స్థానంలో రాజు అయ్యాడు. ఇతడి పట్టణం పేరు అవీతు.

47 And when Hadad also had died, Samlah from Masrekah reigned in his place.

౪౭హదదు చనిపోయిన తరువాత మశ్రేకా అనే ఊరికి చెందిన శమ్లా అతని స్థానంలో రాజు అయ్యాడు.

48 Then Samlah also died, and Shaul from Rehoboth, which is situated beside a river, reigned in his place.

౪౮శమ్లా చనిపోయిన తరువాత నది తీరంలో ఉన్న రహెబోతు అనే ఊరికి చెందిన షావూలు అతని స్థానంలో రాజు అయ్యాడు.

49 Shaul also having died, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor, reigned in his place.

౪౯షావూలు చనిపోయిన తరువాత అతని స్థానంలో బయల్‌ హానాను రాజు అయ్యాడు. ఇతని తండ్రి అక్బోరు.

50 Then he too died, and Hadar reigned in his place. And the name of his city was Pau. And his wife was called Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

౫౦బయల్‌ హానాను చనిపోయిన తరువాత హదదు అనేవాడు అతని స్థానంలో రాజు అయ్యాడు. ఇతని పట్టణం పేరు పాయు. ఇతని భార్యపేరు మెహేతబేలు. ఈమె తల్లి పేరు మత్రేదు. ఈమె మేజాహాబుకు పుట్టింది.

51 And Hadar having died, there began to be commanders in Edom in place of kings: commander Thamna, commander Alvah, commander Jetheth,

౫౧హదదు చనిపోయిన తరువాత ఎదోములో నాయకులెవరంటే తిమ్నా, అల్వా, యతేతు,

52 commander Oholibamah, commander Elah, commander Pinon,

౫౨అహలీబామా, ఏలా, పీనోను,

53 commander Kanez, commander Teman, commander Mibzar,

౫౩కనజు, తేమాను, మిబ్సారు,

54 commander Magdiel, commander Iram. These are the commanders of Edom.

౫౪మగ్దీయేలు, ఈలాము అనేవాళ్ళు. వీళ్ళంతా ఎదోము దేశానికి నాయకులుగా ఉన్నారు.
