< Song of Songs 2 >
1 I am a flower of the plain, a lily of the valleys.
Izaho dia voninkazo eny an-tanety ihany sy lilia eny an-dohasaha.
2 As a lily amongst thorns, so is my companion amongst the daughters.
Toy ny lilia eo amin’ ny tsilo, dia toy izany tompokovavy havako eo amin’ ny zazavavy.
3 As the apple amongst the trees of the wood, so is my kinsman amongst the sons. I desired his shadow, and sat down, and his fruit was sweet in my throat.
Toy ny hazo poma amin’ ny hazo any an’ ala, dia toy izany ny malalako eo amin’ ny zatovo. Mahafinaritra ahy indrindra ny mipetraka eo ambanin’ ny alokalony, sady mamy ao am-bavako ny voany.
4 Bring me into the wine house; set love before me.
Nentiny ho ao an-tranon-divay aho, ary ny fanevany eo amboniko dia fitiavana.
5 Strengthen me with perfumes, stay me with apples: for I [am] wounded with love.
Hatanjaho amin’ ampempam-boaloboka aho, ary velombelomy amin’ ny poma aho, fa mararim-pitia.
6 His left [hand shall be] under my head, and his right hand shall embrace me.
Aoka ny tànany ankavia hanondana ahy, ary aoka ny tànany ankavanana hanohona ahy.
7 I have charged you, you daughters of Jerusalem, by the powers and by the virtues of the field, that you do not rouse or wake [my] love, until he please.
Mampianiana anareo amin’ ny gazela na amin’ ny dieravavy any an-tsaha aho, ry zanakavavin’ i Jerosalema: Aza manaitra na mamoha ny fitiavana raha tsy efa sitrapony.
8 The voice of my kinsman! behold, he comes leaping over the mountains, bounding over the hills.
Injay, ny feon’ ilay malalako! Indro, tamy izy ka miantsambotsambotra eny an-tendrombohitra ary mitsambitimbikina eny amin’ ny havoana.
9 My kinsman is like a roe or a young hart on the mountains of Baethel: behold, he is behind our wall, looking through the windows, peeping through the lattices.
Ny malalako dia tahaka ny gazela na ny diera tanora; Indro, mijanona eo ala-tranonay izy, mitsidika eo am-baravarankely, manarangarana eo amin’ ny makarakara.
10 My kinsman answers, and says to me, Rise up, come, my companion, my fair one, my dove.
Niteny ny malalako ka nanao tamiko hoe: Mitsangàna, ry tompokovavy havako, ry tsara tarehiko, ka andeha ary!
11 For, behold, the winter is past, the rain is gone, it has departed.
Fa, indro, lasa ny ririnina, ritra tsy misy intsony ny ranonorana;
12 The flowers are seen in the land; the time of pruning has arrived; the voice of the turtle-dove has been heard in our land.
Miposaka eo amin’ ny tany ny voninkazo; Tonga ny taona fanaovam-peo fifaliana, ary re atỳ amin’ ny tanintsika ny feon’ ny domohina.
13 The fig tree has put forth its young figs, the vines put forth the tender grape, they yield a smell: arise, come, my companion, my fair one, my dove; yes, come.
Ny aviavy mahamanitra ny voany tanora, mamony ny voaloboka ka mamerovero tsara. Mitsangàna, ry tompokovavy havako, ry tsara tarehiko, ka andeha ary!
14 [You are] my dove, in the shelter of the rock, near the wall: show me your face, and cause me to hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your countenance is beautiful.
E, ry voromailalako ao amin’ ny tsefatsefaky ny harambato, dia ao amin’ ny fialokalofana amin’ ny fiakarana mideza, aoka hahita ny endrikao sy handre ny feonao aho; Fa mamy ny feonao, sady mahafinaritra ny endrikao.
15 Take us the little foxes that spoil the vines: for our vines put forth tender grapes.
Sambory ny amboahaolo, dia ireo amboahaolo madinika izay manimba ny tanim-boaloboka; Fa efa mamony izao ny voalobotsika.
16 My kinsman is mine, and I am his: he feeds [his flock] amongst the lilies.
Ahy ny malalako, ary azy aho, dia ilay miandry ny ondriny eny amin’ ny lilia.
17 Until the day dawn, and the shadows depart, turn, my kinsman, be you like to a roe or young hart on the mountains of the ravines.
Mandra-pangatsiatsiaky ny andro, ka efa hilentika ny masoandro, mitodiha, ry ilay malalako, ary aoka ho tahaka ny gazela na ny diera tanora eny an-tendrombohitra be hantsana ianao.
