Psalms 95

1 The praise of a Song by David. Come, let us exult in the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to God our Saviour.

率われらヱホバにむかひてうたひ すくひの磐にむかひてよろこばしき聲をあげん

2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise to him with psalms.

われら感謝をもてその前にゆき ヱホバにむかひ歌をもて歓ばしきこゑをあげん

3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great king over all gods: for the Lord will not cast off his people.

そはヱホバは大なる神なり もろもろの神にまされる大なる王なり

4 For the ends of the earth are in his hands; and the heights of the mountains are his.

地のふかき處みなその手にあり 山のいただきもまた神のものなり

5 For the sea is his, and he made it: and is hands formed the dry land.

うみは神のものその造りたまふところ旱ける地もまたその手にて造りたまへり

6 Come, let us worship and fall down before him; and weep before the Lord that made us.

いざわれら拝みひれふし我儕をつくれる主ヱホバのみまへに曲跪くべし

7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.

彼はわれらの神なり われらはその草苑の民その手のひつじなり 今日なんぢらがその聲をきかんことをのぞむ

8 To-day, if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, according to the day of irritation in the wilderness:

なんぢらメリバに在りしときのごとく 野なるマサにありし日の如く その心をかたくなにするなかれ

9 where your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works.

その時なんぢらの列祖われをこころみ我をためし 又わがわざをみたり

10 Forty years was I grieved with this generation, and said, They do always err in their heart, and they have not known my ways.

われその代のためにうれへて四十年を歴 われいへり かれらは心あやまれる民わが道を知ざりきと

11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.

このゆゑに我いきどほりて彼等はわが安息にいるべからずと誓ひたり
