Psalms 90
1 A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, you have been our refuge in all generations.
天主的人梅瑟的祈禱。吾主，從永遠到永遠，您就作我們的靠山。
2 Before the mountains existed, and [before] the earth and the world were formed, even from age to age, You are.
群山尚未形成，大地尚未生出，從永遠直到永遠，您已經是天主。
3 Turn not man back to [his] low place, whereas you said, Return, you sons of men?
您命令世人歸於灰塵，說：歸來，亞當的子孫們！
4 For a thousand years in your sight are as the yesterday which is past, and as a watch in the night.
因為千年在您的眼前，好像是剛過去的昨天，好像夜裏的一更時間。
5 Years shall be vanity to them: let the morning pass away as grass.
您消滅他們，使他們有如清晨一覺，使他們有如剛出生的嫩苗青草，
6 In the morning let it flower, and pass away: in the evening let it droop, let it be withered and dried up.
早晨雖然旺盛繁茂，傍晚就已凋謝枯槁。
7 For we have perished in your anger, and in your wrath we have been troubled.
這樣，我們因了您的怒火，而消耗殆盡，我們我們因了您的怒忿，而昏厥不振。
8 You have set our transgressions before you: our age is in the light of your countenance.
您把我們的罪惡全在您的面前擺出，在您儀容的光輝前，我們的隱惡全露。
9 For all our days are gone, and we have passed away in your wrath: our years have spun out their tale as a spider.
我們的日月，都在您義怒中消逝，我們的年歲，也不過像一聲嘆息。
10 [As for] the days of our years, in them are seventy years; and if [men should be] in strength, eighty years: and the greater part of them would be labour and trouble; for weakness overtakes us, and we shall be chastened.
我們的壽數，不外七十春秋，若是強壯，也不過八十寒暑；但多半還是充滿勞苦與空虛，因轉眼即逝，我們也如飛而去。
11 Who knows the power of your wrath?
誰能體會您怒憤的威力，誰能覺察您怒火的可畏？
12 and [who knows how] to number [his days] because of the fear of your wrath? So manifest your right hand, and those that are instructed in wisdom in the heart.
求您教導我們詳數年歲，使我們達到內心的智慧。
13 Return, O Lord, how long? and be entreated concerning your servants.
上主，求您歸來，尚待何時？求您快來憐恤您的僕役！
14 We have been satisfied in the morning with your mercy; and we did exult and rejoice:
使我們清晨就飽享您的慈愛，讓我們能歡欣鼓舞天天愉快！
15 let us rejoice in all our days, in return for the days wherein you did afflict us, the years wherein we saw evil.
您磨難我們，使我們受苦多少日子，求您也使我們多少年月時日歡喜。
16 And look upon your servants, and upon your works; and guide their children.
求使您的僕人得見您的化工，給他們的子孫彰顯您的尊榮。
17 And let the brightness of the Lord our God be upon us: and do you direct for us the works of our hands.
願上主我們的天主給我們廣施仁風，促使我們所做的工作順利成功，促使我們所做的工作順利成功。
