< Psalms 83 >
1 A Song of a Psalm for Asaph. O God, who shall be compared to you? be not silent, neither be still, O God.
Asaf ƒe ha. O! Mawu, mègazi kpi o, O! Mawu, mègazi ɖoɖoe o, mèganɔ anyi kpoo o.
2 For behold, your enemies have made a noise; and they that hate you have lifted up the head.
Kpɔ ale si wò futɔwo le nyanyram ɖa, kpɔ ale si wò ketɔwo kɔ ta dzii ɖa.
3 Against your people they have craftily imagined a device, and have taken counsel against your saints.
Wole nu baɖa ɖom ɖe wò dukɔ ŋu le ayeme, eye woɖo nugbe ɖe ame siwo nèlɔ̃na la ŋu.
4 They have said, Come, and let us utterly destroy them out of the nation; and let the name of Israel be remembered no more at all.
Wogblɔ be, “Miva, míatsrɔ̃ wo, be womaganye dukɔ o, eye womagaɖo ŋku Israel ƒe ŋkɔ dzi akpɔ gbeɖe o.”
5 For they have taken counsel together with one consent: they have made a confederacy against you;
Wotsɔ tameɖoɖo ɖeka de adaŋu, eye wobla ɖe ŋuwò,
6 even the tents of the Idumeans, and the Ismaelites; Moab, and the Agarenes;
ame siwo le Edom ƒe agbadɔwo me, Ismaelitɔwo, Moabtɔwo, Hagritɔwo,
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalec; the Philistines also, with them that dwell at Tyre.
Gebalitɔwo, Amonviwo, Amalekitɔwo, Filistitɔwo kple ame siwo tso Tiro.
8 Yes, Assur too is come with them: they have become a help to the children of Lot. (Pause)
Asiria gɔ̃ hã kpe ɖe wo ŋu, be wòado alɔ Lot ƒe dzidzimeviwo. (Sela)
9 Do you to them as to Madiam, and to Sisera; as to Jabin at the brook of Kison.
Wɔ wo abe ale si nèwɔ Midian, Sisera kple Yabin le Kison tɔsisi la to ene,
10 They were utterly destroyed at Aendor: they became as dung for the earth.
ame siwo tsrɔ̃ le Endor, eye wole abe gbeɖuɖɔ ene le anyigba.
11 Make their princes as Oreb and Zeb, and Zebee and Salmana; [even] all their princes:
Wɔ woƒe bubumewo abe Oreb kple Zeb ene, eye woƒe dumegãwo abe Zeba kple Zalmuna ene,
12 who said, let us take to ourselves the altar of God as an inheritance.
ame siwo gblɔ be, “Mina míaxɔ Mawu ƒe lãnyiƒewo.”
13 O my God, make them as a wheel; as stubble before the face of the wind.
O! Nye Mawu, wɔ wo abe betsyo kple blitsa si ya lɔ ɖe nu ene.
14 As fire which shall burn up a wood, as the flame may consume the mountains;
Abe ale si dzo biaa ave, alo dzo ƒe aɖe tɔa dzo towo ene la,
15 so shall you persecute them with your tempest, and trouble them in your anger.
nenemae nàti wo yomee kple wò ya sesẽ, eye nàdo ŋɔdzi na wo kple wò ahom.
16 Fill their faces with dishonour; so shall they seek your name, O Lord.
Tsɔ ŋukpe tsyɔ mo na wo, ale be amewo nadi wò ŋkɔ, O Yehowa.
17 Let them be ashamed and troubled for evermore; yes, let them be confounded and destroyed.
Na ŋukpe nalé wo, woƒe mo natsi dãa, eye wonetsrɔ̃ le ŋukpe me.
18 And let them know that your name is Lord; that you alone are Most High over all the earth.
Na woanya be wò, ame si ŋkɔe nye Yehowa la, wò koe nye Dziƒoʋĩtɔ la ɖe anyigba blibo la dzi.
