Psalms 82

1 A Psalm for Asaph. God stands in the assembly of gods; and in the midst [of them] will judge gods.

ଆସଫର ଗୀତ। ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଠିଆ ହୁଅନ୍ତି; ସେ ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କ ବିଚାର କରନ୍ତି।

2 How long will you judge unrighteously, and accept the persons of sinners? (Pause)

“ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କେତେ କାଳ ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ବିଚାର କରିବ? ଓ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କର ମୁଖାପେକ୍ଷା କରିବ? (ସେଲା)

3 Judge the orphan and poor: do justice to the low and needy.

ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦରିଦ୍ର ଓ ପିତୃହୀନମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କର; ଦୁଃଖୀ ଓ ଅକିଞ୍ଚନମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ନ୍ୟାୟ ବ୍ୟବହାର କର।

4 Rescue the needy, and deliver the poor out of the hand of the sinner.

ଦରିଦ୍ର ଓ ଦୀନହୀନମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କର; ଦୁଷ୍ଟଗଣର ହସ୍ତରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର।”

5 They know not, nor understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth shall be shaken.

ସେମାନେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ କିଅବା ବୁଝନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନେ ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ଏଣେତେଣେ ଭ୍ରମଣ କରନ୍ତି; ପୃଥିବୀର ସକଳ ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ ବିଚଳିତ ହୁଏ।

6 I have said, You are gods; and all [of you] children of the Most High.

ମୁଁ କହିଲି, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଗଣ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନ।

7 But you die as men, and fall as one of the princes.

ତଥାପି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ପରି ମରିବ ଓ ଜଣେ ଅଧିପତି ତୁଲ୍ୟ ପତିତ ହେବ।”

8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for you shall inherit all nations.

ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ଉଠ, ପୃଥିବୀର ବିଚାର କର; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସବୁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଧିକାର କରିବ।
